Coming out of the hospital, Cheng Su stumbled and almost fell to the ground.

Qi Taiguo broke out in a cold sweat and quickly held her up, urgently saying, "Hey, hey, be careful! Why aren’t you paying attention? You scared me! Are you alright?"

Cheng Su was completely confused. She grabbed his arm and said, "You, pinch me quickly and see if it hurts. Am I dreaming?"

The test results were out, and it confirmed early pregnancy positivity. It wasn’t quite full-term yet, but in a few days, it would be fully apparent. The old doctor’s words were accurate; he hadn’t misled them.

In other words, the chances of them being truly pregnant were very high!

The happiness came too suddenly; Cheng Su couldn’t believe it. They had been hoping for months and were feeling discouraged, but now, while checking for health issues, there was already a sign? Had the baby already implanted without them realizing it?

Qi Taiguo couldn’t bring himself to pinch her; he pinched himself instead and laughed, "It hurts, it’s not a dream. It’s true, we’re really going to be parents!"

"Does it really hurt?" Cheng Su pinched her own hand hard, tears instantly welling up in her eyes. It really hurt; it wasn’t a dream.

"Taiguo, this is so sudden!" Cheng Su cried and laughed, almost jumping with joy.

"Look at you, silly girl. I told you not to pinch! Does it hurt?" Qi Taiguo pulled her hand over and gently rubbed it.

But Cheng Su just hugged him tightly, "I’m so happy, I’m really happy, Qi Taiguo, I’m so happy!"

Qi Taiguo laughed helplessly. He was also happy, not expecting her to be this overjoyed. He thought she wasn’t too keen on having kids.

"Alright, alright, take care. You still need a confirmation check in a few days." Qi Taiguo said.

Cheng Su took out the test sheet from her bag, "How could the hospital be wrong? They used professional equipment for testing."

"Still, you need to be careful; the doctor said the dates are quite early!"

Cheng Su nodded, her face flowering with a smile. She looked down at her own belly and stroked it, saying, "I don’t feel a thing. This will definitely be a good child. I thought my waist was sore because my period was coming again these days!"

"You’ve been more sleepy lately; I noticed you falling asleep quickly!" Qi Taiguo gently tapped her nose.

"Yes, yes, it feels like I can’t stay awake, and I’m going to the bathroom a lot." Cheng Su nodded rapidly, realizing more pregnancy symptoms appeared, saying, "Yesterday at the old man’s banquet, I even ate pine nuts. I never used to like them. Oh dear, I’m going to be a mom."

"Alright, let’s go back. Look at you, so happy you can’t even find your way!" Qi Taiguo embraced her and walked a few steps.

Suddenly someone rushed over, and Cheng Su instinctively protected her belly, while Qi Taiguo quickly stood in front of her, shielding her with his arms.

The person ran past them, took a glance, and seemed puzzled.

Cheng Su and Qi Taiguo both breathed a sigh of relief, exchanged a smile.

"Why are we so jumpy?" Cheng Su laughed.

"People say the first three months are crucial, so we must be very careful. Not just the first three months, but I believe the entire nine months require attention." Qi Taiguo said solemnly.

Cheng Su nodded in agreement.

"Should we catch a cab home? Let’s skip the bus!" Qi Taiguo supported her to the roadside, hailed a car, and carefully helped her into it, heading back to the Cheng family.
