After some discussion, Qi Bao’s official name was decided to be Qi Fang. Since the baby was born on the seventh day of the seventh month, they worried about an unlucky nickname like Cowherd boy or Weaver Girl, so Cheng Su quickly named the baby Xiaoqi.

"Why call him Xiaoqi?" Mother Cheng grumbled, "I think Cowboy is better. It’s strong and sounds good. Xiaoqi, what’s up with that?"

"Seven isn’t good anyway." Mother Cheng muttered.

Cheng Su stuck out her tongue.

Despite her dissatisfaction, with her daughter and son-in-law on the same page, Mother Cheng had to let it go. Plus, their grandson was so adorable, so she started calling him Xiaoqi too.

People say kids change day by day. It’s true; when Cheng Su first had her son, she thought he was ugly, but after a few days, she couldn’t take her eyes off him. He had fair skin, and the most beautiful part was his eyes, which seemed to speak. He was irresistible.

When Cheng Su returned home from the hospital, Ning Ge rushed over. Seeing Xiaoqi, he couldn’t let go, which made Qi Taiguo super jealous.

"If you like him so much, hurry up and find a wife to have one yourself!" Qi Taiguo said sourly.

Looking at Xiaoqi’s fair and chubby face, Ning Ge said, "As if saying it will make it happen. This one’s already here, let me have fun with him first."

Before Qi Taiguo could react to the "fun" comment, our little friend Qi Xiaoqi opened his eyes, glared at him, and then unapologetically peed.

"It’s nothing, it’s just virgin boy’s urine. The child is offering you tea." Mother Cheng laughed.

"Exactly. Always saying you want to be the godfather, then first drink the virgin tea my son offered." Cheng Su said delightfully from the doorway.

Ning Ge was beside himself with laughter, cleaned his face in the bathroom, and came back pretending to glare fiercely at Qi Xiaoqi.

But little Qi Xiaoqi was not afraid at all and looked back at him, as if to say, who are you, how dare you glare at me?

Ning Ge admitted defeat first and said, "This kid is really not afraid. Come on, let godfather play with him some more."

Qi Xiaoqi rolled his eyes, grumbled, and closed his eyes to sleep. He wasn’t going to bother with someone so thickheaded.

Qi Taiguo laughed heartily, "My son doesn’t like you!"

Ning Ge’s face darkened.

The child ignored him, and with Qi Taiguo seeing the baby’s sleepy, sleepy-looking eyes, he took him back to the room for Cheng Su to nurse.

After Ning Ge left, Mother Cheng opened the gift he brought. "Wow, isn’t this gift too expensive?" she exclaimed.

Qi Taiguo saw it was a brocade box containing a delicate gold collar; he pursed his lips, wondering if that guy thought his son was a girl!

"Mom, take it into the room and let Susu put it away." Qi Taiguo said.

Mother Cheng was delighted. Her daughter and son-in-law knew people with great connections, bringing such valuable gifts. They were truly blessed!
