“Someone has visited that child. She said she wants to find that person for the child, but the information Yaozu found suggested the person might be an assassin.” Ning Ge said, “Yaozu said she wanted to dig more into that person’s background, although it’s not directly related to her, but I am afraid she might cause trouble. I plan to look into it thoroughly, just letting you know.”

“What? An assassin?” Qi Taiguo was stunned.

“Yes, Yaozu said she’s pretty concerned.” Ning Ge looked at Qi Taiguo’s expression and said, “Is there any relationship between Cheng Su and that child?”

Qi Taiguo glanced at him but didn’t divulge Cheng Su’s secret, as it’s quite incomprehensible and it’s Cheng Su’s own secret. Even if it needs to be shared, it shouldn’t be him doing it.

“Just a foster care relationship, nothing else.”

Ning Ge responded with an “oh,” but his eyes flickered, clearly sensing Qi Taiguo’s evasion.

Qi Taiguo saw it clearly but was powerless, only able to give a bitter smile, pondering over that person, an assassin? What’s their relationship with Cheng Su?

Feeling a bit anxious, he realized he’s been busy these days and hasn’t called home. He’d need to take some time to talk to her.
