Cheng Su graduated, and after handling the business handover in Qing City with Zhan Qin, moving plans came up since they intended to stay in Guangcheng for a long time. With Qi Taiguo not around, decisions about the house were hard to make.

Cheng Su also said, "See, even dad says so."

"Fine, fine, the both of you are right," Mother Cheng huffed softly and said, "So what do you suggest? The house in Guangcheng isn’t big, are you moving everything there?"

"For now, I won’t move everything, just some personal items. When Taiguo returns, we can discuss whether to rent out this place and leave the furniture for the tenants!" Cheng Su had already thought about it.

Although she wasn’t concerned about the rent, having someone live in the house meant it would be maintained. Better that than leaving it empty to get moldy and cobwebby.

"That’s true. Taiguo is the head of the household, it’s best to discuss with him first. Don’t make decisions alone," Mother Cheng advised.

Cheng Su smiled.

"Shouldn’t he be back by now? It’s June already, wasn’t he supposed to be gone for half a year?"

"It might be half a year or a year," Cheng Su pursed her lips. In these six months, he hadn’t called, so she had no idea when he’d be back or how he was doing.

But whether good or bad, these six months have passed. If he comes back, that’s good; if not, it will just be another six months.

Time really flies.

Mother Cheng was immediately delighted. Around March or April, Cheng Zhi called to say the house was ready, not far away, and they could move in anytime!

Although Cheng Su provided most of the money, the fact that the whole family could settle and reunite in Guangcheng was indeed a joyous occasion!
