Chapter 3939 - Weirdest Quasi Cosmic God in History
Tianming's days suddenly became rather smooth. "I should use this opportunity to keep growing in the Ancient Flameyellow Ruins and take Feng with me. Then I'll be able to see her in the Primordial Sands!"
Of all the treasures that Feiling had given him, a child felt rather refreshing. Naturally, it was also one with a heavy responsibility. He felt like he had aged a few centuries in one go!
Taking the Ninelives Fruits offered to him without holding back, he used an overflow fragment to stimulate the growth of his orders. Tianming focused all the power on the primordial order in his primordial lungs; there were already quite a number of middlekin astrons within them. After using the two fruits, he found that, once the number of middlekin astrons in the lungs reached a certain extent, they seemed to give his primordial order a final push and transform it to the planet class! The transformation was a rather stable one.
"Looks like overflow fragments and Ninelives Fruits are what I need to advance from quasi cosmic god to real cosmic god." Those shortcuts would only work up till that point.
The treasures he had gained from defeating Chu Xuan included many ordered manna with more than ten thousand apertures. Lan Huang needed manna with mountain and sea aspects, which weren’t uncommon in the Upper Star Ruin.
"It's finally my turn!" Lan Huang excitedly jumped around in the lifebound space, causing the gray coffin within to rumble. The beasts had all gotten used to Eighth and no longer minded it. From time to time, they even tried interacting with it.
Eighth seemed to have the most sinister aspect out of all the Primordial Chaos Beasts, yet it also seemed to be the most well behaved. Tianming really wondered whether its temperament would stay the same after it hatched.
"Let's go!" Lan Huang swallowed the Ninefold Galaxy manna that Tianming gave him. It had nine concentric layers, alternating between mountain and sea aspects, forming a kind of spiral galaxy. Manna were miraculous creations of the universe, and people didn't really seem to know on what principles they worked. Not that it mattered, as long as his Primordial Chaos Beasts could unshackle their bloodlines with them.
Tianming's primordial lungs seemed to finish the transformation faster than Lan Huang. Then again, it wasn't fair to compare his lungs to its whole body. Lan Huang was the most massive of his beasts, with the exception of Yin Chen. After its order reached planet class, the dense concentrations of its astrons began transforming, starting from its lungs and spreading out to its entire body. Every one of its middlekin astrons adopted the shape of a two-headed dragon.
The process caused its entire body to shine. The power of mountains and seas was like the power of heaven and earth. Lan Huang seemed like it would be the beast that caused the most commotion as it transformed into a microcosm. The birth of an actual universe seemed to take place within its body, causing its mass to skyrocket far more than Ying Huo and Meow Meow's had.
It would be even more terrifying in physical combat.
Brown and blue light were coming from every part of its body. It looked like the fusion of dense masses of stars. The star count within its eyes also crossed a hundred million! Lan Huang could finally crush entire infinitum-class worlds, able to decimate everything without much effort. Not to mention, it could travel across space without a ship as a cosmic god. Space would no longer be an ocean that could cause it to drown.
"Imperial Star-Ring!" Lan Huang had awakened a new ability from its bloodline. Tens of thousands of ring-shaped sword dragons formed all over its body, spinning and wildly slashing at everything around it. It also gained another layer of its explosive Triflair Primordial Shield.
"No doubt, the part of it that's grown the most must be its mass!" Once Lan Huang, Ying Huo, and Meow Meow fused with Tianming, his arms and one of his legs would be like those of cosmic gods. Coupled with his heart, spleen, and lungs, the number of middlekin astrons he had in his body would be close to that of a true cosmic god. Even though not all of his heptastar astral organs had reached that point, he was already far more powerful than many other quasi cosmic gods.
"When will your imperial order finally reach planet class? Your junior’s falling behind. I doubt it'll even rise when you look at cosmic gods," Ying Huo mercilessly mocked.
Tianming was currently at the ninth level of the Overflow stage. Following the increase in his mass, he had become the largest quasi cosmic god ever, seemingly comparable to third-level cosmic gods in height. His combat ability also seemed to be a close match.
"I've been improving quite a lot lately!" Tianming had only been able to fight third-level cosmic gods with all his omnisentient threads back then. "In a bit more time, Little Fish and I will probably be able to subdue Sixth's vita."
Tianming rose and stretched. His right leg was far too powerful in comparison to his weaker left leg. "Dammit, I'm going to be limping...."
While the mismatch of his legs wouldn’t affect ability usage, it would limit Lan Huang's power, at least to some extent. Tianming relied quite a bit on his lifebound beasts in close combat using their fused form.
"After I break through one more time, I'll get Xian Xian to become a cosmic god. I just wonder how Yin Chen, Ji Ji, Bai Ling, and Bai Ye will change...."
Ji Ji's ancestral order permeated his entire body rather than remaining in a specific astral organ. If it became a cosmic god, did that mean the astrons in Tianming's entire body would become middlekin astrons?
"No matter what, my cultivation’s already far out of any common sense." Not even he knew how he would continue changing.
"Big Bro! Big Bro!" Jiang Xiaobai seemed utterly shocked as she watched from afar. "He grew taller again even though he hasn't become a cosmic god yet! He's even taller than me!"
"What?!" Jiang Datou came over with a look of concern. "Friend, do you have some kind of bad karma from your previous life? Why’re you still stuck as a quasi cosmic god?" He hadn't seen nor heard of a quasi cosmic god that was almost three hundred meters tall.
"Calm down." Tianming knew that his unique constitution would be exposed sooner or later. Fortunately, he had become rather capable of defending himself. "Alright, if we have nothing else better to do, let's go get more Ninelives Fruits. They're amazing things."
They’re amazing indeed, but I feel like he's wasted them.... I should've used them myself... thought Jiang Xiaobai.
