Beastmaster of the Ages

Chapter 4295 – My Son Is Incredible

Chapter 4295 – My Son Is Incredible

When they heard this, the entire Skyplunder Capital fell utterly silent.

The recently recovered Mu Lang quickly grabbed his sister’s arm and whispered, “Sis, Imperator Skyplunder is just proposing a wager the other side can’t possibly accept. Don’t get upset, okay?”

Mu Qingqing rolled her eyes. “Why would I be angry at this point? That man already has a harem in the Realm of Order.”

Mu Lang’s eyes widened. “After ten thousand years apart, the imperial son really grew as a man!”

“Just stop talking,” Mu Qingqing said helplessly.

All eyes turned toward Yueling Xiao in the sky.

Rage exploded within the man and he pointed accusingly at Li Muyang and roared, “You pretend to be refined, but do you have any idea what kind of absurd words you’re saying?”

Li Muyang smiled calmly. “Brother Yueling, you can simply refuse if you don’t dare accept this wager. It’s rude to resort to personal attacks.”

Yueling Xiao glared viciously at Li Muyang, then turned to the crimson sphere and shouted, “Adjucator! This man has no intention of giving honorable stakes. I beseech you to seal the Nullity Starcage as punishment!”

“How are we the ones without sincerity?” Wei Jing said irritably. “Your wager demands we withdraw, release your captives, and even imprison my son! Do you know what that means to a parent? Our wager, on the other hand, only seeks to turn hostility into harmony through a grand union. Your four daughters are all exceptional, though one is already a mother! My son is young, handsome, and gifted. How is he not worthy of their hands? Strictly speaking, win or lose, you still profit!”

“Utter hogwash!” Yueling Xiao spat blood in fury. It was clear he could hardly agree to it.

“Brother Yueling,” Li Muyang said evenly, “frankly speaking, while you are their father, you do not have the right to make decisions on their behalf. The true masters of Yueling Starcage are those four women, not you. I suggest you ask their opinion instead of embarrassing yourself here.”

“You—!” Yueling Xiao’s eyes blazed like fire.

“Ask them,” the crimson sphere suddenly spoke up.

Yueling Xiao froze. He gnashed his teeth so hard his jaw trembled, forcing himself to calm down before he barked to several primocosmic gods beside him, “Return and report this!”

When those envoys departed, Skyplunder Capital once again fell into heavy silence.

Near the Adjudicator, Yueling Xiao and Imperator Jian murmured in low voices. The crimson sphere dimmed and its shadowy figure within faded away, so no one knew whether it still heard them.

“Brother Yang,” Sage Chen said gravely, “the Ruinless Zone lies at the center of the Inverse Battlefield and it’s the most unpredictable place of all. Are you sure you can win there?”

Li Yanfeng frowned and shook his head. “Impossible. Anyone whose soul-age exceeds a hundred thousand years cannot enter the Ruinless Zone. That means this contest will be decided entirely by cosmic gods under that age. For that age range, Nullity is less than a third of the violetblitzians’ strength, and not even one-tenth that of Yueling Starcage!”

“You seem to know us quite well,” Li Muyang remarked.

“Then where does your confidence come from?” Sage Chen asked. He paused as one man flashed through his mind, but he quickly shook his head. “The imperial son’s already over a hundred thousand years old. He can’t enter and turn the tide.”

“Indeed,” Li Yanfeng agreed, glancing at the sky with a cold laugh. “Yueling Xiao is too timid. If it were me, seeing the difference in strength, I’d have accepted immediately.”

Despite how well they knew Li Muyang, neither of them could figure out what he was planning.

“Still,” Sage Chen said with a smirk, “this wager was arranged by the Adjudicator. It represents the will of the entire Realm of Chaos. If you actually win, then those four female tyrants will really have to bear your son’s children. That’d be quite the bargain. If you can’t beat them, let them join as daughters-in-law instead. You’re truly bold, Li Muyang.”

Li Muyang curled his lip. “That wasn’t my idea. My son came up with it himself.”

“His seventh heptastar organ down there has taken over the first,” Li Yanfeng said with a chuckle.

“That’s one way to put it,” Sage Chen said, laughing.

They both laughed, but afterward, the reality of their situation sank in again. They shook their heads and looked solemnly at Li Muyang.

“If those four women decide to set themselves against you, your boy’s doomed,” Li Yanfeng said flatly.

“Alas, the Adjudicator personally arranged this match. What can we do? He’s far too invested in this affair... So, let’s just leave it to fate,” Li Muyang replied.

“Right... For a transcendent being beyond all things, he’s been meddling more and more in the name of “peace.” It feels... inappropriate. They’re supposed to be beings without desire,” Sage Chen murmured.

“We’ll see,” Li Muyang said simply.

That ended their talk.

Li Yanfeng and Sage Chen had already done all they could by showing up to lend their presence.

They couldn’t participate in the wager themselves.

And so, everyone waited in tense silence.

Days passed.

Yueling Xiao watched Li Muyang coldly. He had analyzed the situation countless times. With both imperial sons unable to fight, and only cosmic gods under a hundred thousand years old allowed in, Nullity’s forces were as fragile as paper compared to theirs. How could they possibly win?

At last, news returned from Yueling Starcage.

A primocosmic god came back to Skyplunder Capital with an odd look on his face and immediately announced. “The four supreme imperatores of Yueling Starcage have spoken. To secure peace, they have agreed to enter the Adjudicator’s wager!”
