Chapter 626: The Secret Writing!
Chapter 626: The Secret Writing!
Nikolai spent most of the day preparing himself for the evening, with dozens of maids entering shortly after his bath. Half of them dragged Clara and Zara away to another room, while Verda and the others came to annoy him.
Verda seemed to enjoy anything if it meant annoying Nikolai.
She sat on the main sofa with a pipe in her hand. "Stand there," she said, pointing to the area in front of her. Nikolai didn’t mind and followed her command, since it was for Zara, he’d accept this much shame and embarrassment.
"What next?"
"Strip." Her thin lips curled into a grin.
"Okay."
Nikolai didn’t care about stripping; he was confident and knew he was in the top 0.1% of all men that existed in size, shape and overall body sculpting.
He removed his pants, shirt, and underwear in less than ten seconds.
Then stood with his legs spread to shoulder width, and arms folded behind his back with a smug look on his face.
"Eh?!"
"Kyaa. It’s a wolf’s penis...!"
"So thick and meaty..."
The group of maids made strange noises when he removed his clothes, the first one being mature, the second being quite trendy with a pierced ear and several bangles and anklets, while the final maid was a little plump with neat black hair covering her eyes.
Even Verda let out a whistle before she grumbled at him.
"Idiot, I didn’t mean take everything off..."
"Oh, well, it doesn’t matter, right?"
"N-Not really, aren’t you ashamed to be so brazen?"
"Why, when I’m such a good man?"
Verda narrowed her eyes before shaking her head. "Damn brat, put that weapon away before I tear it off!"
After their little skit.
Nikolai quite enjoyed the treatment of these royal maids, although not the highest in rank. Verda told him that few non-Djinn could enjoy such a high level of care and attention from the three maids.
Makeup, hairstyling, clothing, everything in Djinn style.
"Hmm..." he hummed while glancing at himself in the tall body mirror.
A brown jacket with fine patterns, a pink sash similar to Zara’s body colour, tying his loose white pants and strange tribal markings painted on his bronze, muscular chest and abdomen. The black-haired maid specifically offered to paint them herself.
He traced the central pattern and tilted his head.
"It’s Al’Qatari, it means something similar to moon in your language."
Nikolai ignored Verda’s silly grin and her weird expression as she whispered with the maids, and swore to learn the language. He couldn’t help but think the meaning might be different when seeing the looks of the maids.
Their hidden faces amplified the reactions and emotions depicted in their gazes.
"Forget it, let’s go. What’s next?"
He knew he couldn’t see Zara until the moment they boarded the carriage, some kind of rule. Again, he really hated these constant rules and laws he needed to follow as her spouse.
The hours flew by, and Verda finally entered wearing an elegant black dress covered in sparkling gemstones and a silk shawl. "Kid, how do I look?"
"Very hot, like a true Milf."
"...What does that mean? She tilted her head."
"Nothing, just means you’re very beautiful and unexpectedly graceful."
She narrowed her eyes into thin slits before offering her arm with a hum. "Tsk, brat, don’t let me find out..."
Nikolai couldn’t lie to her.
The side of her dress exposed her toned abs, and her tight figure really brought out the beauty of this black dress with a halter-like neckline.
He hooked her arm and walked towards the main hall, where two rows of maids and servants awaited them, along with Antha, who also dressed up.
"Follow me, Verda." She glanced at Nikolai and stopped her gaze on his chest before her cheeks blushed, and she coughed. "W-Who wrote that?!"
’Hm?’
"What does it say?" Nikolai asked.
He caught Verda sweeping her hand across her neck with a serious expression towards Antha. ’These women, what the hell did they write on my chest?!’ Nikolai worried because tonight he would meet her brother!
What if they wrote something bad?
Nikolai observed the countless gazes. The maids blushed before glancing at his crotch, while the male stewards gave an envious gaze and a thumbs up.
’Well, even if they did. It’s probably true. None of the women has denied it so far...’
Eventually, Verda’s shadow guard dragged Antha away after sharing a few stern words. It was the cruel world of female friends. Nikolai wouldn’t get involved in this! He wasn’t a complete idiot.

Outside the mansion, even the gardens looked elegant with glowing lights tied to the greenery and flowers illuminating a path to a large carriage.
The carriage seemed normal at first. But with each step closer, Nikolai couldn’t help but doubt his eyes.
"A golden carriage?"
Verda chuckled beside him as they walked arm in arm, "It’s an olden custom from the first marriage between the first King and Queen from Balthazar. The gold carriage is said to resemble the sands from which our clans both struggled to survive. A sort of binding force, and thus, when getting married or engaged. The two love birds ride together."
Nikolai listened to her lengthy introduction.
He never interrupted when she spoke seriously, because she sometimes resembled Nagisa.
"I see, then is my bride-to-be already waiting?"
His eyes observed the double doors, and even the windows remained opaque and one-sided. Verda shook her head with a smile and gently separated her arm from his and reached up to the door.
"Guardian Verda has served her duty of guiding the groom!"
From the inside, a voice echoed.
"G-Guardian Clara has served her duty..."
’Oh my god!’ Nikolai’s lips curved into a smirk as he watched the door open, revealing two magnificent beauties sitting on the other side, peering at him with a curious look.
Clara wore a simple outfit—a more elegant version of the Shadow Guard’s attire.
He glanced at Zara, but quickly turned away, his heart pounding.
’She’s too beautiful!’
A striking red dress clung to Zara’s curvy figure. Her soft contours and wide pear-shaped hips filled the dress to the limit while a plunging neckline perfectly framed her large, round breasts.
With each movement of the carriage, her soft melons jiggled slightly.
"H-How do I look?" She turned away, her small golden jewellery draping down her neck and ears, a little chain attached to her earlobe and nose.
"Perfect."
Nikolai snapped out of his trance, then stepped onto the ramp.
"Ah, is your nose pierced?"
"Nnn," she shook her head, then touched her nose, and with a click, it unhooked. "They clip to the skin, since I don’t know if you’d like me to pierce myself... I asked for these."
Ba-Dum!
Ba-Dum!
’Why are her actions and little words making my chest pound this much?!’
He covered his embarrassment and pulled himself onto the carriage with a smooth hop.
The inside wasn’t anything like he imagined.
He dropped onto the seat beside Zara and sank into the soft material while scanning the carriage. Soft red velvet lined the walls, with a strange cushion sewn underneath, so even if they hit the walls during travel, it probably wouldn’t hurt them.
"Nikolai," Zara called his name, her voice soft as she lowered her head and placed her hand on the seat between them.
"What’s wrong?"
Nikolai took her hand, gently squeezing it.
"N-Nothing!"
She pulled away once, but he didn’t let her go. After that, she stopped resisting and instead stroked along his palm with her fingers.
"Your chest, I wanted to ask about the meaning behind it."
He tilted his head while leaning closer, their shoulders touching. Although he could lie about it, Nikolai wanted to enjoy this warm and fluffy atmosphere a little longer.
"It’s something the maid and your Aunt insisted on."
"Eh?! You didn’t doubt or stop them?"
"Why would I? They’re related to you." He insisted with a smile.
The little princess showed a shocked expression, her eyes and mouth open wide before quickly biting her lips. "Idiot, what if they made fun of you?!"
"I don’t mind if it’s for your benefit."
"!!!" Her cheeks turned bright red, before it spread to her ears.
Tap Tap!
A knock sounded from outside; two meant the carriage was about to depart.
Nikolai took advantage of this, and the moment the carriage moved, he wrapped his arm around Zara’s waist and pulled her close. The sweet scent of her body spread through his nostrils, almost intoxicating him at first.
"Kya! Nikolai?!"
He glanced down at her with a smile. "Are you nervous, Zara?"
"Of course I am, it’s the first time I am coming home and... with a husband at that!" She curled her fists and five of them hammered his chest, while the other pair held his hand to keep him in place. "Hmph, you’re lucky..."
"Oh, why am I lucky?" He teased.
"Nikolai!" She puffed out her cheeks and went to attack him again when the carriage suddenly bounced, hitting a bump.
"Ahh!?"
Before she could react, Nikolai pulled her onto his lap and wrapped his arm around her back, sealing her extra arms.
The shy princess glared at him while trying to struggle free for a moment, before rolling her eyes once she failed to break free.
"D-Don’t fool around, this dress is hard to adjust."
Nikolai’s eyes lit up as he leaned closer to her face, their breaths intermingling as she stared at him with a defenceless face.
Zara closed her eyes and subtly lifted her chin.
’This girl, she’s already seeking more contact, what a greedy Djinn.’
He didn’t need another clue.
Her glossy lips tasted sweet, with a hint of cherry.
As they continued to bump along, their tongues gently curled and folded with quiet, wet sounds in the back of the bridal car.
