Chapter 653: Al’Qutar Burns
Chapter 653: Al’Qutar Burns
Nikolai dragged the girls deeper into the underground.
After the first explosion, dozens followed, and the roof above them crumbled. Their pace increased to avoid the rocks and debris raining down on them constantly from above, but Nikolai couldn’t help but feel they’d misunderstood the aim of the Balthazar.
’Is this a plan just to eliminate us, or is there something else going on...?’
"How are you all doing?"
"Ngh, my ass stings... and my thighs are burning like we ran a marathon."
Brunhilde dusted off her body, the tight latex bodysuit torn slightly, revealing her pale, muscular thighs and exposing her small buttocks.
"Here, take this."
He offered his secondary jacket, which covered him from neck to thigh; with their height difference, it would keep her covered from head to ankle.
"Hueh?!" She made a cute sound, but took the jacket.
Though the first thing Brunhilde did was to sniff the material, she dragged her nose across the chest, back and armpits while wagging her bushy tail. "Good..."
Yun’fa, who watched her, recoiled and turned to Nikolai.
"Hey, are all werewolves this disgusting?"
"Hm?"
Nikolai pretended not to notice her actions.
This was the true path of a gentleman.
Well, it wasn’t... but after dating Nikita, he’d learned all sorts of strange Werewolf traits. ’No... Even I have strange habits, which I refuse to comment on!’
"Werewolves are a very territorial race, and scent is one of the ways we mark or determine that kind of thing. I hope you don’t judge us. Think about when others speak about your extra arms, or lack of them and pretend it makes you less of a Djinn."
He knew that the hybrid Yun’fa would understand if he put it this way.
"Mm, sorry. I forgot that we’re not the same race because you deal with things so easily..."
"It’s fine, we all have our own little issues. Let’s get a move on. Can you still guide us through the tunnel in this state?" He motioned for her to look at the damaged tunnels. Various small passages around them were now half-collapsed and dripping with water and other liquids.
"Uhm, let me check."
She glanced at her dusty map and began muttering to herself.
Nikolai turned back to the maids, admiring the look of Brunhilde wearing his trenchcoat over her tight bodysuit... somehow it was quite erotic. ’I’ll have to get Kumiko to wear nothing but a trenchcoat and thong when I get home.’
"Okay, the passage is a little narrow, but we can make it through here."
Yun’fa pointed to a smaller tunnel to the left, with collapsed rocks blocking the visibility. Nikolai couldn’t help but frown upon seeing the tight fit. He glanced at the pretty Djinn, only for her to drop to a crawl, pushing her perky little ass into the air and enter the small crevice.
’Damn...’
The tight suit clung to her every curve, causing his body to heat up.
He couldn’t help but react to the women around him, due to the tight suits which hid nothing... from their slight bumps and erect nubs, along with their scents filling the claustrophobic tunnels, to form a powerful musk.
"Phew."
Nikolai leaned against the wall, taking deep breaths... the foul air tasted like oil and stale bread, but he forced himself to cool down.
The sight of five sexy rumps passive through brought a tightness to his suit that almost punctured the expensive gear.
After they vanished into the hole, he bit the tip of his tongue and chased after them. His large figure made things difficult. To squeeze through, he wedged himself against the rocks, forced to suck in air to slide through the narrow gaps and small twists.
Seconds became minutes.
Minutes felt like hours.
And hours almost felt like days as they passed through the chambers.
He’d never experienced something like this, climbing rocks to slide down a fallen pillar, squeezing himself through a narrow passage and then crawling under a mass of rocks held up with a single tiny brick.
In reality, only an hour passed.
They came to a huge sealed gate, at first Yun’fa and the girls tried to pick the lock. But tired, annoyed and wanting to blow off steam.
Nikolai ran at the gate and kicked with all his strength.
DENG!
Pure steel bent around his foot and shot across the room, smashing into the wall, and dug itself into the solid concrete.
"Whoa..."
The loud quakes still caused dust and debris to trickle down the broken stone, bringing fears of another collapse.
Once they broke out of the collapsed district, they entered a huge circular room, with a high roof, above them a massive fan spun slowly, bringing air, heat and sound into the underground.
"I wonder how many kids have played near this place." Brunhilde pointed to some graffiti and various tags.
Nikolai felt a sense of amusement that kids were the same no matter which world, race or time.
Yun’fa placed her head against the cold wall, listening to the vibrations. "Well, it seems the battle has moved from the military district to the palace and bazaar..." A faint pulse of pink light spread from her four hands touching the stone.
The light oscillated and spread across the entire wall like a sonar.
"What’re you doing?" Nikolai asked curiously, with his hand against the wall, able to feel the heavy rumbling quakes from above. But he also felt the gentle, wave-like flutter of Yun’fa’s soul force spreading through the walls.
"Ah..." She took a moment before pulling off the wall, her face half covered in soot. "I was using my soul force to detect any possible collapses or weaknesses in the walls ahead to avoid dangerous passages."
"Hmm... how do you do that?"
He closed his eyes and poured his immense soul force into the wall.
"STOP STOP!"
Nikolai shrank his energy into small, wave-like shapes much similar to the ones he saw spreading from Yun’fa’s palm, attempting to match her.
’Hm?’
In the distance, he could feel movements, countless footsteps.
’Are these people above me?’
The walls began to quake worse than when bombs dropped from above, causing Yun’fa to grab his arm, trying to peel it off.
However, she lacked the strength... and ended up just dangling from his rock-solid forearm, swinging slightly with flushed cheeks.
"Nikolai!"
"Huh?" He pulled off the wall and lifted his arm, the djinn dangling from his muscles as she glared at him with a pout. "What’s that look for?"
"You were about to cause this entire place to collapse, look at us!"
When he took a good look at her body, "NOT MY BREASTS! THE DIRT!" She scolded his lewd gaze, before the thick layer of dust in her hair and clinging to her bodysuit made things quite obvious.
"Sorry, I didn’t realise I wasn’t holding back."
"Tsk, show off..."
Yun’fa kicked a stone and stormed off towards another one of the gates, and the moment she arrived at it, she shoued. "Hey, come and show your strength, you big oaf!"
Brunhilde and the maids remained silent, following Nikolai after wiping and dusting themselves a second time. They seemed completely faithful to Nikolai and wouldn’t act without his orders.
In fact, the more he showed his strength, the more Brunhilde’s eye shone with admiration.
The group pushed through the underground tunnels, slipping through murky water, puddles of filth and enduring the foul stench.
Nikolai led the group once they reached the correct district, just to keep the others safe, with the enemy using silver bullets aimed to kill monsters; he wouldn’t risk the maids or Yun’fa getting hurt.
When they came to a long tunnel which would lead to a stairwell heading into the bazaar, Nikolai paused, raising his hand. "Shh!" With a finger to his lips, he kept the girls quiet while perking his ears up to listen to the silence.
He heard several voices in the distance.
Their volume was no more than a subtle murmur as they spoke with hushed voices.
"It seems there are people down here."
He took a deep breath, unholstering his Desert Eagle, while glancing back at the women and nodding. "Prepare for combat, if they are the enemy, don’t wait for me and shoot."
Nikolai crept forward, his foot sliding through the sewage water, while holding his gun with both hands. One hand tightly kept the gun fixed in place, the second, supporting the other for more accurate shooting.
As he came closer, slowly avoiding his feet, making a noise, the conversation grew louder step by step.
"Are you saying..."
A woman’s voice became emotional as she almost shouted. "There’s no way he’s.... dead!"
The lack of full words forced Nikolai to put the words together himself, but once he reached this range, the group of people came into his sights.
’Fifteen people... with more around the corner?!’
That number shocked Nikolai, but he wasn’t scared. He glanced back, noticing Yun’fa holding both guns towards the group using her four arms.
However...
’That voice sounds familiar.’
Unable to risk it, he raised his hand, giving the Maids the command to stop and hold position. Then he moved towards the djinn and tapped Yun’fa’s shoulder before bending close. "I think they might be friendly, let me get closer to check."
"Mhm..." She shook with a soft cry before nodding back at him.
He could feel her eyes burning into his back as he crept ever closer to the group of women standing in the darkness, arguing. Nikolai’s heart pounded faster as he approached, nervous about whether things above went well or fell apart.
Then...
A woman turned the corner, and her blood red eyes flashed as she glanced at him.
"Intru—duh!?"
Nikolai shot forward like a raging beast, his knee shot towards the woman’s abdomen. The wind whistled with a snap as she pulled back, twisting around his knee, and drawing a long-barreled revolver from her thigh, and pushed it to his forehead.
Before she could aim, he grabbed her arm and lifted her off the ground.
That’s when her blonde hair and beautiful face reflected off the dull sewer lights, and he let her drop into his arms.
"Kya?!"
Thud!
"N-Nikolai?!"
Her shaky voice quivered as he held her tightly, his face buried in her neck, the musky, sweaty scent didn’t bother him as his fingers sank into her flesh.
"Sarah... I’m so glad to see you."
Before she could respond, he sealed her lips.
