Chapter 654: The Hidden hand of the Nosferatu
Chapter 654: The Hidden hand of the Nosferatu
Nikolai pulled away from Sarah with both hands gripping her shoulders. The pair of them panted to catch their breath as the sound of dripping water lingered in the moments of silence.
Not long after, Yun’fa, Brunhilde, and the members of the Delta maid unit arrived equally winded as they leaned on their thighs.
"Nikolai, you just suddenly took off, what if something happened?!" The half-djinn scolded him before she glanced at the blonde woman in his arms. "Tsk, is this woman another one of your wives?"
Yun’fa truly bonded with Zara after they met.
Becoming her new guardian was a great honour and something she’d spent over a decade training for. Now, in that role, finding her liege and sister marrying such a loose man with several women caused a great deal of irritation.
"She’s my beloved Knight, Sarah."
"Eh?!" Sarah’s face painted a picture of shocked delight, her lips curling slightly as she looked up at him with wide, misty eyes. "...but a knight is..."
"Mhm, did you think I would let you remain a squire for life, from the moment I took your first time. You became a valued squire of both the Volkov and Báthory families..." He held his breath while eyeing her body with a faint grin. "Didn’t you notice the sudden change in your body and abilities?"
"Nikolai!"
Sarah’s cheeks flushed red as she pushed him away.
Out of shame, she could only lower her face while glancing between each of the women around her.
"Sister, Lunaria should be back soon... stop saying such stupid things." She stepped forward, shaking her finger as she pushed it into his chest. "Or else, I won’t do what I promised next time!"
Nikolai’s lips twitched as his smile collapsed.
"H-Hey, you can’t do that... going back on your word is evil! Pure evil!"
Although he knew it wasn’t the time to act this way. The glum faces of the thralls behind him and what they experienced in the military district told a dark story. He knew that above them, probably, wasn’t the safe place he’d imagined.
"Tsk, stop messing around and focus, Prince." Yun’fa’s low growl stole Nikolai’s attention as he turned to her with a blank look.
"What the hell did you call me?"
"Prince, you are the fiancé of my liege, the future queen and current crown princess of our entire nation. In this moment of national danger, from this moment on, I am announcing my role as your guardian, until the moment Princess Zara returns or the conflict ends."
While the two began to argue back and forth, Sarah slipped behind them and stood in front of Brunhilde, "It’s been a little while, Bruna!"
"Tsk! It’s you, blondie, don’t call me that!" Although she spoke in a sharp tone, her cheeks lifted, and she constantly peeked at Sarah’s body, checking her state. "A-Are you well? Did something happen up there?"
Sarah nodded, but looked at Nikolai, who was grappling with Yun’fa playfully, and giggled, "Just a moment, let me enjoy this atmosphere for a moment longer..."
BOOM!
The ground quaked, the distant sound of boulders, rocks and debris falling stirred a sense of danger in the werewolves. Their heightened senses worked against them in situations with such loud noises and natural disasters, making them lose their calm more easily.
"Ahhh!"
"Wooo!"
Sarah covered her ears with a shout, while Brunhilde and the Delta unit maids all let out shocked howls at the sudden collapse.
Nikolai glanced over the shoulder of Yun’fa, who was wrapped in his left arm, struggling to escape as he kept her locked in place.
"Let me go... Hnnngh!"
"Stop fighting, be good, or I’ll spank your ass."
"Do it! I dare you! Zara will hear about it!"
Not one to ignore a threat, he lifted his hand and...
PAH!
"!!!!!" Yun’fa’s plump butt wobbled as his hand cupped her soft flesh, giving it a good squeeze after spanking her.
"Wow, it’s pretty soft..."
"Y-Y-You!"
Her anger exploded in the form of her pink soul force, so intense he could almost see steam hissing from her ears.
"Calm down, you’re the one who told me to do it."
"W-What?! When did I do that?"
"You dared me."
"..."
She looked up at him with a dead look, her body limp under his shoulder, but with his hand still fondling and caressing her. There was no chance of her accepting his stupid excuse; her mouth opened wide, and she bit his forearm.
"Ah!" He gasped, tossing her away.
Yun’fa tapped the ground with her spiritual arm, bouncing to her feet several metres away from Nikolai as she held her swollen rump.
"Zara won’t stand for this..." She protested with tears in her eyes.
"Mhm, probably not."
Nikolai accepted her words and nodded with a smile, his attention shifting to the vampire thralls watching from the wall.
"Hello girls, why are you so shy... is everyone alright?"
He counted their heads, then narrowed his eyes and glanced at Sarah speaking to Brunhilde.
’Let’s not ask her...’
"Tanya, what happened?"
All his actions were to dissipate the intense personal fear and worries that clouded his mind like fog. After noticing two of the vampire thralls were missing, he assumed the worst.
Thus, he chose to toy with Yun’fa.
The half djinn’s mental strength was close to his, maybe even stronger.
"T-There were lots of explosions... people fell under the debris... and... and..." Even the vampire thrall who led their group fighting against monsters, undead and killing whenever it was needed spoke with a slight stutter.
Nikolai gently cupped her cheeks, the silver-haired girl barely tall enough to reach his chest as she glanced up at him with watery eyes. "Take it slow, don’t force yourself... if you cannot focus, then bite my wrist and drink some blood."
Immediately, the mentally weary thralls transformed; their eyes shone in the darkness as they swarmed around him.
Each of them eyed his body with a menacing light filling their hungry eyes.
"G-Girls, calm down... tell me what happened and I’ll ensure you’re all fed well."
However, the thralls at the end of their tether struggled to resist their innate nature. A dozen small mouths opened, revealing pretty little fangs. The appetite of a thrall was minuscule compared to a true vampire.
Tanya clung to his chest with both hands, acting first. He could feel the heat of her breath, blowing through his unfastened bodysuit. A soft, squishy sensation followed when she pressed her glossy lips against his chest, and she stood on her tiptoes.
He held her slim waist, lifting her, while shocked at how light she was.
Then bit into his neck just above his collarbone.
A pleasant sensation followed the sharp prick of her fangs sinking into his flesh.
Whenever someone drank blood, it created a strange rush. The heart began beating faster, trying to compensate for the draining blood. Upon the initial trauma and fear, various chemicals flooded the brain until the vampire’s saliva seeped into the victim’s blood, causing nothing but pleasant chemicals to be released.
"Mmmmph..."
Upon seeing their leader feasting, the mentally unstable thralls all watched Nikolai with drooling mouths.
"Okay, you can all feast..." Though it might weaken him for a few moments, their mental state would be a liability at this rate.
So he spread his arms and gave them his wrists.
Within seconds, the intense pleasure which drove him to the brink of blood frenzy swelled tenfold, as countless small mouths kissed him. Their fangs lacked the deep, throbbing pain of Selene’s, so the pleasure came much faster.
Ba-Dum
Ba-Dum
Ba-Dum
His three hearts pounded faster, desperately trying to create enough blood to restore what was lost.
A silence filled the sewers as he felt countless eyes watching him.
Sarah’s quiet voice brought a smile to his face, as Tanya’s wet lips, covered in translucent bridges of saliva and blood, pulled away from his chest first.
"M-Master!" She basically shouted with brightly glowing eyes.
The mentally unstable and fearful vampire was now gone completely, as she stood straight, glancing at her sisters before shaking her head.
"We’ve lost three sisters, the enemy used weapons far superior to this world’s technology, and shortly after the explosions, hundreds of Bone Saints poured through the Nexus, and attacked the surviving guards!"
’Damn it...’
Nikolai had a feeling after meeting Franz, but it was confirmed.
"So, what happened after that?"
"Commander Verda led the most talented shadow guards to the palace to protect and save the King and Queen while guiding us to this safe zone. They said you would likely appear within a few hours... and you did!"
Tanya’s eyes sparkled as if seeing a god or divine being.
She held her hands at her rapidly beating chest, smiling at him like a devoted little woman.
Not all of the thralls acted like her, but his blood was the issue. It was too delicious for female vampires and other monsters that drank blood or ate flesh.
"I see, then we’ve lost three family members..."
Nikolai digested the information, while audibly speaking about his lost thralls, this wasn’t random, but to build their affection, trust and loyalty further.
One by one, the women pulled away from his arms, filled with small tooth marks.
Some of them even licked him clean, their hungry eyes carrying a different, lustful light which he chose to ignore.
He didn’t sleep with his thralls.
So they would have to make do with their toys.
Although there were strange rumours, his wives created suitable toys for the thralls behind his back to help earn extra income and encourage teambuilding.
"Are you done?" Sarah stepped forward first, her eyes glancing at his rapidly healing wounds, before swallowing hard.
"Don’t be jealous, their minds were on the brink of collapse. Pay more attention, a knight isn’t just their coworker. You’re now their boss and leader in my stead."
She glanced at the thralls now standing in an almost military fashion, their backs straight, eyes forward and neatly arranged.
"I understand."
Nikolai glanced at the maids and Yun’fa before he looked up.
"It seems that Nosferatu planned to attack Al’Qutar far before we did... what worries me is that they’ll take the chance to attack S-City with me absent."
He took a deep breath.
His eyes darted between the twenty or so women, then he smirked.
"So, there’s no time to waste. We must save the King and Queen, and support the Shadow Guard with all we have!"
Nikolai raised his right hand, and with a flash, countless guns, grenades, armour and other items dropped from his tattooed ring.
"Pick anything you can use, we’re going to war!"
