Cleaver Of Sin

Chapter 561: Question-1

Chapter 561: Question-1

Asher’s mind spun as various plans and methods to handle the situation flickered rapidly through his mind, he didn’t dare to take his eyes off the man before him, after all, the man could suddenly attack without warning, and even a single moment of carelessness could cost him everything.

"Did you really think that you could take out my men without me finding out?" The Wavestar Life Ranker known as Debro asked as he floated with calm ease, his posture relaxed yet exuding an overwhelming authority that seemed to weigh heavily on the very atmosphere itself.

Asher didn’t reply, his expression calm as though nothing had happened, he simply met the man’s black eyes with his purple ones, his gaze flat and devoid of fear, revealing nothing of his thoughts or intentions.

"I have a lot of questions, but I wouldn’t ask them here," Debro spoke, and the moment those words left his lips, Asher felt an overwhelming amount of pressure crash violently into his shoulders from above, the next moment he tried to resist as he unleashed his own presence in retaliation, but it was utterly futile, his knees slammed into the earth below with devastating force, shattering the ground beneath him from the sheer weight of his collapse.

Debro appeared beside Asher, who was kneeling helplessly under the crushing pressure, he stared down at him with a faint amused smile, placing a hand on Asher’s left shoulder with deliberate calmness, and in the next instant, they both vanished in a blur of golden light, the space around them distorting momentarily, and the next moment they appeared within the chamber Asher hadn’t dared to enter earlier on, as that was Debro’s personal chamber, a place that radiated danger and chill

Asher immediately reacted, his Astra energy boiling outwards violently like a raging storm seeking release, but before he could even initiate an attack or resist properly, he was bound in chain artifacts, their metallic surface glowing faintly with suppressive power, his connection with Astra energy severed instantly and completely, leaving him powerless, Asher’s face changed into a frown.

His purple eyes shifted cautiously through the chamber, it was utterly dark and suffocatingly silent, yet Debro moved through it as though it was no different from broad daylight, completely at ease within the consuming darkness.

"So, let’s start from the very beginning," Debro spoke as he sat on his table while staring directly at Asher, his gaze filled with curiosity and amusement, the moment he started to speak, the darkness encroaching upon his room slowly began to recede as light poured back into the room, illuminating the cold and oppressive environment.

"How did you find this place?" Debro asked with a calm tone as he stared at Asher with a crude smile filled with hidden malice, but Asher didn’t speak, he simply stared at the man as though he was mute, his silence acting as his only form of defiance.

Silence stretched between the both of them as they simply stared at one another as though they were in a staring competition, the tension thick and suffocating, "not answering, huh?" Debro spoke as he stared at Asher as though he had found a new toy to entertain himself with, he appeared before Asher in a blur of motion, his forefoot collapsing violently into Asher’s chest with a detonating kick that echoed throughout the chamber.

Asher felt unbearable pain erupt within his chest and mind, the force felt as though it was tearing through his heart itself, he spat out crimson blood which splattered across the ground below, his chest turning brown and purple from the single devastating blow that had been delivered without mercy.

"It seems we might be having a long day together, Mr Adventurer," Debro spoke as his hand blurred again, a slap tearing violently into Asher’s face, his lips bursting apart as blood spilled freely, his teeth tearing out of their gums from the sheer brutality of the strike.

"Tell me what I want to know, and I might spare your life," Debro squatted as he stared deep into Asher’s eyes with disturbing intensity, "I don’t have to kill you, I could add you to my harem you know, from your face and vitality you seem to be around the maximum age of twenty five, although too old, but your face makes you an exception," he stated as a twisted smile graced his lips, "so, just tell me, and I wouldn’t have to injure your handsome face and sexy body," he spoke as his hand caressed Asher’s face with a hint of disturbing lust within his gaze.

Asher broke eye contact with the man for a moment as he fell into his thoughts, ’It seems he doesn’t know that I was one of the Adventurers that were captured earlier,’ Asher thought to himself, if the man had known that, he would have been asking Asher how he had escaped and not how he had found their hideout, which revealed a crucial gap in the man’s awareness.

And it made perfect sense to Asher that the man didn’t know, after all, the man was a Wavestar Life Ranker, the leader of this entire operation, why would he bother knowing the individual faces of prisoners and Adventurers that were captured, that was far beneath someone of his status and wasn’t worth his attention or concern in the slightest.

’Seriously, what is wrong with everyone in this organisation,’ Asher thought to himself, recalling the organ storage room where he had met two individuals who had spoken about going to his prison cell and violating him in about six days from now. And now, their leader here was talking about adding him to his strange and disturbing harem, and judging from his words and tone, obviously the man was keeping a group of young boys within his twisted harem for his own selfish desires.

’This is like a male version of Doris, although Doris was into underaged children,’ Asher thought to himself as he felt disgust toward all these villains. This man was certainly over a century in age, if not several centuries, yet here he was lusting after someone that wasn’t even past two decades in age, displaying a level of depravity that Asher found revolting.

’Is this what those Chinese authors mean by old cow eating young grass? Although in this setting he would be an old bull,’ Asher thought to himself, completely unbothered about his current condition, as though being captured by Debro was simply another calculated step within a much larger plan that only he fully understood.

Debro didn’t interrupt Asher, to him it appeared as though Asher was simply contemplating the offer in silence. Of course, Debro would simply love to kill Asher and be done with it, but he needed to know how Asher had found this place, that way, he could prevent everyone and anyone else from discovering this hidden location, ensuring that his operation remained secure and completely undiscovered.
