Chapter 995: Pincer Attacks [GT Ranking Bonus Chapter]

At one side of the battlefield, the Seventh Moon, who was at the Dust Voidstar Life Rank, could be seen taking on three Voidstar Life Rankers by herself as though it were just another normal day for her.

In her hand was a Jian sword, and her opponents had the letters ’U’, ’V’, and ’W’ carved into their foreheads.

The three of them attacked with devastating force, their attacks swift and deadly as they came from all angles. But Mary read every single one of them as she deflected them with effortless precision, Astra energy augmenting her speed and strength as she moved.

’U’ closed the distance from the side, his body covered in raging winds as he moved to stab Mary with his dagger.

But Mary simply stepped backward, her body dodging with effortless grace. However, ’U’ didn’t seem willing to let her escape as he created a cyclone and unleashed it in a raging storm of destruction. But the moment the explosion was about to consume Mary, she vanished from where she stood as Space bent to her will.

Her innate affinity was Space, allowing her to bend it however she saw fit.

The moment she appeared, she was already upon ’W’, her Jian sword stabbing straight through the woman’s heart as she ended her before she could even blink.

As the cyclone destroyed everything within a thousand-kilometer radius, ’U’ stepped out of the dust with a frown on his face at the sudden death of ’W’, as he hadn’t expected her to die so quickly.

He exchanged glances with ’V’, then nodded.

The moment they did, ’V’ moved, his own weapon being a bow. Blue flames immediately ignited across his fingers, forming an ethereal bow as he pulled back the string before unleashing a shot, the single arrow instantly multiplying into a million-arrow volley.

Mary smirked. She simply stepped forward, heading directly into the attack. Her Jian sword rose as her hand danced through the air, deflecting one blue flame arrow after another with ever-increasing speed, her black eyes dancing within their sockets as she tracked every single projectile.

Explosions rang out in succession as each flame arrow detonated the moment she deflected it and it struck the ground. Titanic blast waves rippled outward as trees, mountains, and hills vanished, everything within a two-thousand-kilometer radius being wiped clean from the face of the earth.

The next moment, at the location of one of the blue flame arrows, ’V’ immediately flickered into existence as he possessed the ability to teleport to his flames. The instant he appeared beside Mary, he swung his bow with wicked glee in his eyes, the bowstring slicing toward Mary’s neck.

But just as the attack was about to connect, Mary simply phased through it, and the moment she did, she immediately turned, her Jian sword moving to end ’V’. But ’V’ teleported once more to the position of one of his blue flames that still burned upon the ground.

As Mary was about to move again, her movement suddenly froze as she felt the air within her lungs and the organs inside her body halt in place before reversing direction, the very air within her body literally being drawn out. Her eyes immediately snapped toward ’U’, who was responsible. She didn’t panic. Although the attack was deadly, it wasn’t so fast that she couldn’t retaliate.

With a single thought, Astra energy roared through her veins as she instantly opened a portal at the exact location where ’U’’s head was. ’U’’s senses immediately screamed in warning, his body vanishing from where he stood as he abandoned the attack on Mary without hesitation.

But the moment he appeared at another location, Mary was already there as she teleported directly to his position. However, ’U’ had already anticipated it, his own blade becoming a streak of black as he immediately parried Mary’s attack.

The next instant, they both vanished simultaneously, their bodies becoming blurs as their weapons thundered into each other continuously. ’V’ wasn’t left out either. He immediately teleported toward Mary’s location, moving through the flames. The moment he appeared, his bowstring sang toward Mary’s Achilles tendon as he aimed to cripple her and reduce her speed.

Mary’s eyes snapped toward the incoming attack. She immediately raised a foot, the bowstring slicing through the air where her foot had been only an instant earlier, while she simultaneously used her sword to block another dagger attack coming from the side.

Her body shot into the air as she used the force of the clash to create distance between herself and her enemies. The moment she landed, she smiled as she instantly increased the weight of space upon everything around her.

’U’ and ’V’ immediately felt as though the weight of the entire world had been dropped upon them. Mary was about to move, but before she could, she felt as though space itself was holding her back.

But it wasn’t. ’U’ had simply increased the wind resistance that naturally occurred whenever one moved, amplifying it to the point where it felt as though Mary was trying to walk through an invisible wall.

But Mary didn’t care. She simply teleported directly, her figure appearing above both ’U’ and ’V’ as she moved to finish them both with a single slash. But before she could, ’V’’s hand touched ’U’, and together they teleported to the nearest blue flame.

As Mary’s sword missed, a devastating wave of compressed wind erupted as the attack slammed into the earth with catastrophic force, leveling everything within a three-thousand-kilometer radius. Her opponents had escaped once again through the blue flames.

Her eyes traced the blue flames scattered across the ground, and with a single thought, Space responded to her will as every flame within a five-thousand-kilometer radius was instantly snuffed out.

She simply pointed a hand forward. The moment she did, ’V’ and ’U’ felt an irresistible pulling force as Mary instantly used attraction through Spatial Manipulation upon them. Both of them immediately frowned as ’V’ created a massive ball of flames while ’U’ instantly formed another cyclone. Then, without a shred of hesitation, they slammed both attacks into one another. As the two techniques collided, titanic sizzling heat and razor-sharp winds erupted outward before hurtling toward Mary herself while her attraction remained active.

Mary snapped her fingers as she immediately created a wall of space, and the combined attack slammed into it with rampaging madness. But ’U’ and ’V’ had already achieved what they wanted. As the flames scattered in every direction, they vanished from the pulling force acting upon them.

Mary wasn’t bothered that they had escaped. To her, this was fun. She wanted to see what they would come up with next, as she was certain these two still had more abilities they were hiding. If not, they wouldn’t be so confident in taking her on.

The moment she thought that, from the ground below, a clone of ’U’ burst out as his daggers screamed toward her spine. Mary’s spatial senses tingled as she immediately reacted, but the moment she did, ’U’ and ’V’ appeared beside her from both sides as ’V’ had teleported both of them to the flame beside her.

As all three pincer attacks were about to land, the entirety of space froze as Mary’s instantly locked space itself around all three of them, freezing them completely in place. In one moment, they had gone from the attackers to nothing more than meat upon a chopping block.
