Chapter 1783: Strange Growth In Strength (2)
Unable to find anything wrong with himself or even the slightest bit of trace as to what might have been behind the sudden increase in strength, Xuan Hao slowly turned his attention towards the system as he soon brought forth his own status for the first time in a while. Hoping that the system would shed some light on his current situation.

Looking through his full status in search of the abnormality that might have something to do with the sudden enormous change that had unknowingly taken place inside his dantian over the past two days while he had been in a deep meditation that had rendered him unable to properly sense what was happening around him and apparently also inside his dantian, Xuan Hao decided to ignore the sudden leap in strength that a certain rabbit demon beast seemed to have experienced and instead focused his attention on another abnormality in his status.
The Dao section was far more readable... But outside of that and the new section that noted down the depth of his spiritual sea, there was only one other noticeable change and that was the bloodline section of his status.
The text behind the Three Immortals Bloodline that was still in a half-awakened state had changed from the requirements of awakening being partially met to the requirements being met. Meaning that it was highly likely that these requirements being met had to do with the sudden increase in size and depth that his spiritual sea had experienced.
The only problem was, he had no idea how to awaken his bloodline nor what the requirement that had been fulfilled was.
Perhaps being knocked around by a spatial formation was a requirement for triggering some kind of change in his bloodline? But then again, that was a rather unusual requirement for awakening a bloodline and would seriously make him reconsider whether to go through with a bloodline awakening, as it might end up causing some weird changes...
Shaking his head as he understood how unlikely all of this was, he instead focused his attention on a far more likely culprit behind the sudden change that had taken place in his bloodline... The abyss that was no more than a few meters from where he had entered deep meditation to recover from his injuries.
A far more likely scenario was that some of qi he had drawn in from the surrounding environment to recover from his injuries had been absorbed from the abyss right next to him and this qi from the abyss that he hadn’t noticed anything wrong with had ended up causing the change that caused him to fulfill the remaining requirements for awakening the Three Immortal Bloodline.
Considering that he had already been curious about just what it was that was hidden in the depths of the Verdant Abyss, he had now become far more curious, as he was almost certain that it was something related to the Three Immortals Bloodline.
Maybe the Verdant Abyss itself and the spatial formation locking down the Verdant Abyss was remnant of an ancient battle that had taken place between someone with the Three Immortals Bloodline or potentially even one of the three immortals that the bloodline stemmed from.
No matter what, his curiosity towards exploring the Verdant Abyss had reached the peak, but... he also understood that there was no way for him to explore a place like the Verdant Abyss with his current strength. Even the area surrounding the abyss teemed with powerful demon beasts ranging from the Land Creation Realm to the Star Creation Realm.
The abyss itself was bound to be far more dangerous and wasn’t something a Sea Formation Realm Profound Immortal like himself could explore.
Only reaching the Peak of the Land Creation Realm or potentially the Star Creation Realm would he dare to try and explore this kind of place, before that, it would be nothing short of willingly jumping into the open maw of a demon beast.
Not to mention, he still had Huo Fen and Meng Jie tagging along.
Even if there was a potential opportunity to awaken his Three Immortals Bloodline in the Verdant Abyss, it wasn’t something he could handle with his current strength and would have had to wait until he became stronger.
Speaking of which, he still planned to consume the Stardusk Essence to break through to the Late Stage of the Sea Formation Realm before attempting to leave.
Luckily or maybe understanding how bad their current situation was, Huo Fen didn’t fight back when he asked for the Stardusk Essence and handed it over without any objections.
Even if the Stardusk Essence was valuable and held extreme importance in Huo Fen’s eyes, he understood that none of it would matter if they couldn’t leave the Verdant Abyss... And Xuan Hao also told him that he would repay him with another vial of Stardusk Essence after they got out of the Verdant Abyss. Reassuring him that he wouldn’t lose anything and could view it as temporarily lending the Stardusk Essence to him to stand a better chance at getting out of the Verdant Abyss alive.
