Especially considering using those five alchemy artifacts was far from cheap. Requiring several Saint Grade Spiritual herbs with each use, while an inheritance didn’t require anything.

Although the sect would want to continuously use something like the five alchemy artifacts to increase the realm of the sect’s alchemist, it wasn’t exactly something the sect could do, as the amount of Saint Grade Spiritual Herbs required for something like that was simply terrifying. Even a powerful ancient power like the ancient alchemy sect he currently found himself in was unlikely to have kept these kinds of artifacts running constantly, likely reserving them for especially talented alchemy disciple to use every now and then.

The best-case scenario for the future use of this kind of magical artifact set would be for the disciples and elders themselves to provide the spiritual herbs needed to use them, though... As for why he didn’t consider Huo Fen and Meng Jie claiming the five artifacts for themselves... That was simply because they were unable to do so.

Muttering this to himself as he glanced towards the ongoing battle that was clearly tilting in the favor of the demon beast, the larger man narrowed his eyes slightly before his attention drifted towards the passage leading into the ancient alchemy sect ruins, a hint of greed flashing past his eyes.

The battle playing out in the distance drawing not even the slightest bit of attention from him, as he was instead far more focused on the ancient alchemy sect that was located on the other side of the passage.

After all, for a Land Creation Realm demon beast to appear didn’t just mean that the ancient alchemy sect ruins were far more dangerous than he and the other three Land Creation Realm cultivators of the Eastern Central Region had calculated originally but also meant that the treasures contained inside the ancient alchemy sect ruins were far more valuable.

Having originally come to help deal with the Land Creation Realm demon beast, he was now far more interested in getting his hands on whatever treasure was hidden inside the ancient alchemy sect ruins.
