Accepting Li Chi's agreement with a small nod of approval before signaling for him to get back up, Xuan Hao didn't pay much attention to the rabbit demon beast that was still being dangled in the air as he gave Li Chi a brief explanation of what was going to happen after they got back to the sect and how to best handle his new change in status along with a general introduction of his other disciples. Making sure to include a certain level of warning when it came to interacting with a certain someone.

Only after this brief introduction along with a few expected gifts that would be helpful for his cultivation at the Core Formation Realm, did Xuan Hao turn his attention back towards the little rabbit demon beast that had seemingly given up any sign of struggle at this point and seemed to have just decided to go to sleep while he finished his talk with his new sixth disciple. The detriment compared to the normal cultivation path taken by someone like himself was the fact that although the path of a demon beast looked easier on the surface, it took far longer time for a demon beast to advance their strength compared to normal cultivators. This being one of the main reasons why their lifespan was longer, as they would never be able to advance beyond the Qi Condensation Realm before dying of old age without any lucky encounters to propel them forward otherwise.

Although top-grade spirit stones were extremely useful for a demon beast, they had a limited effect on one at the level of the rabbit demon beast and would mainly serve as the final push for it to breakthrough to the Profound Immortal Realm.

But just as everything seemed to be going well for the rabbit demon beast, a loud rumbling sound could be heard from above, as both Xuan Hao and Li Chi turned to look up towards the empty sky where a tribulation cloud brimming with terrifying power was slowly starting to form. Catching the two completely off guard.

Li Chi because he was unaware of what breaking through to the Profound Immortal Realm involved and Xuan Hao because he distinctly didn't remember this terrifying tribulation when he broke through to the Profound Immortal Realm.

A tribulation, yes, but not this kind of world ending lightning tribulation that was brewing above the rabbit demon beast.

Even this would still have been fine as he was more than capable of protecting his disciple from the aftermath, but… This tribulation cloud was forming above the capital city of the Iron Sky Kingdom on top of the most valuable spiritual metal mine under the Star Shattering Sect.
