Seeing how Lu Dongli hadn't started cultivating yet and was instead just spending time together with her family like she would have done normally even without the illusion she had ended up in, Xuan Hao didn't feel too surprised as he had expected this to some extent given how he had also seen what she had ended up going through inside the illusion that he had placed her in.

But at the same time, it was also clear to him that she would inevitably end up going down the path of cultivation in the future even without him interfering in her life. The reason being that her family wasn't in a great position as another major family within the small kingdom was using the birth of a brand new Core Formation Realm cultivation to expand and take advantage of the Lu Family only having a single Core Formation Realm cultivator to take some of the Lu Family's territory and shops under it throughout the kingdom.

Although not to the point where the two families would enter a life and death struggle, it was still something that ended up harming the Lu Family and had resulted in Lu Dongli having to leave for the capital where it was safer in case something happened back at the family home.

During the illusion she had been placed inside of by him, this also happened, though he had made sure that most of her time was spent cultivating back then, as the conflict didn't reach her beyond tiny bits of knowledge that the conflict had caused the overall influence of the Lu Family to shrink within the kingdom. Influence that was almost immediately won back and far surpassed what it had once been after she reached the Nascent soul Realm inside the illusion.

This was not because she wasn't interested in the conflict, but instead because he himself wasn't confident in crafting an illusion regarding the conflict that seemed to span an entire kingdom. Keeping things simple by also making it more difficult than it would have been normally for Lu Dongli to leave cultivation and investigate the situation on her own. In a sense, making her physique more deadly than it actually was.

In a way, this was both to keep the illusion intact, while at the same time also being a good way to test her limits.

After she became strong enough and left the Lu Family to seek opportunities to reach the Domain Lord Realm, he didn't have any restrictions to limit her movement, as the world outside the small kingdom she had grown up inside was completely unfamiliar. Making it far easier for him to craft a believable world within the illusion.

Of course, there was one thing that he couldn't replicate within the illusion even if he wanted to and that was the cloud tribulation one had to face upon reaching the Nascent Soul Realm. In the illusion, she just seamlessly reached the Nascent Soul Realm, something she would realize was wrong upon learning more about the Nascent Soul Realm in the future, but at that point in time, he predicted that he would have already taken her in as his seventh disciple and explained to her the illusion she had gone through.

That aside, there was one thing he hadn't accounted for in the illusion that Lu Dongli had found herself facing after waking up… And that was the fact that her prolonged sleep had ended up causing quite a stir inside the Lu Family, causing both her father and mother alongside her brother to panic thinking something had happened to her.

Together with the current conflict that existed between the Lu Family and the other Core Formation Family Clan in the small kingdom, the first culprit in their head behind the unusual state of the young miss of the Lu Family, was none other than this hostile family clan in the process of expanding.

In the end, it had caused the relationship between the two parties to deteriorate far faster than it would have normally.

After all, though that family clan took over some of the Lu Family's territory and shop locations throughout the small kingdom, it wasn't the only one losing a bit of power to this family clan that had expanded in strength and the little influence lost wasn't significant enough to cause any real conflict.

But with the young miss potentially being targeted, it changed the entire situation, as it more so looked like this family clan that now possessed two Core Formation Realm cultivators might have thoughts about swallowing up the entire Lu Family and its territory along with it.

No matter how calmly the Lu Family had been in the past, there was no way they could take this lying down, as conflict began erupting between them and this newly expanded family clan.

Even if the other party tried to calm the situation after learning about the reason for this sudden resistance from the Lu Family that had allowed them to peacefully take over some of their territory out of respect for their family getting another Core Formation Realm cultivator, there was no way to do so, as a group of their cultivators just so happened to have run into Lu Dongli's carriage just before she ended up in this state of not being able to wake up.

Although unwilling to back down, looking at it from their point of view, they understood that they did indeed look a bit guilty and with that in mind, this expanding family clan also realized that they might have been set up by someone else. After all, in their mind, there was no reason for the Lu Family to go against them as they had made sure not to touch upon the core interests of this family during their expansion. Knowing that the Lu Family also had someone in the Core Formation Realm and recklessly expanding could potentially anger them.

Because of this, even though they were reluctant to, they decided to back off the Lu Family for now and instead focused their efforts on other locations while at the same time trying to figure out who it was that was trying to set them up against the Lu Family Clan.

Unknowingly, another family clan that had been planning to hamper their expansion efforts was found because of this and the blame of what had happened regarding the Lu Family was directly shifted towards them, causing the family with two Core Formation Realm cultivators to clash violently with this family clan that had tried to stop their expansion and even tried to make them fight the Lu Family Clan.

But even with two Core Formation Realm cultivators, there was no way to deal with this troublemaker, as it was a family clan with a similar number of Core Formation Realm cultivators who didn't want to see the rise of another equally strong family within their sphere of influence.

In the end, by the time Lu Dongli woke up, the Core Formation Realm cultivators from these two families had already clashed over a dozen times as they seemed to have entered a life and death struggle. Doing their best to pull in support from other Core Formation Realm Families and Foundation Establishment Realm families.

Surprisingly enough, the Lu Family Clan, being the main reason behind this conflict, managed to escape the brunt of it and became a neutral faction amidst the chaos that had begun spreading because of those two major families clashing with each other.

By the time Lu Dongli woke up, the situation around her was already completely different from what she remembered from the illusion. Not that she cared too much about it as she had just taken the time to get along with her family who were overjoyed with how she had woken up.

In fact, her waking up had given more legitimacy to the family clan believing that they were being framed, as they just so happened to have killed a cultivator skilled in illusion on the other side when she woke up. Even sharing this information with the Lu Family in hope that they would join them in this struggle against the enemy who had clearly targeted the two of them intending for them to fight.

Knowing the truth of her own situation and the fact that her falling into a deep slumber had mothering to do with someone else, Lu Dongli had barely managed to convince her parents against joining the struggle and ensuring that the Lu Family remained neutral.

To be honest, learning about this situation as he arrived was rather entertaining, as outside of just the few Core Formation Realm Families involved in the struggle, he could easily see that the entire situation was being orchestrated by an even larger noble family with over a dozen Core Formation Realm cultivators inside of it, who wanted to weaken the different Core Formation Realm Families to ensure they didn't end up threatening their influence within the capital city in the future.
