"Myriad Treasure Hall..." Hearing the name of this unknown power that had come seeking an audience with his sect, Feng Chen couldn’t help tilting his head a bit in confusion. Especially upon hearing that this was a power from the Southern Central Region.

After all, while the sect’s information network and knowledge of surrounding powers had expanded over the years, the information that had been gathered on the Southern Central Region was relatively limited and the Myriad Treasure Hall was not amongst the powers within the Southern Central Region he knew about. Making it even more confusing as to why someone from an unknown power would travel all the way from the Southern Central Region to establish friendly relations with the Star Shattering Sect.

The only real reason he could think of was that this Myriad Treasure Hall wanted something from his sect and the only real thing that would catch the attention of such a power should be related to the Star Shattering Sect’s current identity as an ancient hidden sect.

In other words, there was a good chance, the reason they had come to establish a friendly relationship with the Star Shattering Sect was because they wanted something that was easy to find inside an ancient hidden sect.

Although this wasn’t the best of situations given the fact that the Star Shattering Sect wasn’t an actual ancient hidden sect, he felt that there wouldn’t be anything wrong with at least hearing out this delegation from the Myriad Treasure Hall and using the opportunity to figure out if the Star Shattering Sect had what they wanted.

In the worst-case scenario, he would just have to ask Xuan Hao to lend a hand. Aware that he would be far better equipped to deal with this kind of situation given his knowledge on unique cultivation resources. Potentially even knowing about whatever it was that the myriad treasure hall might have come looking for.

All in all, after a few minutes of contemplation, he decided to go out to meet this delegation. Having no plans of allowing someone from the Southern Central Region to step inside the Shattered Star Peaks because of how there was a good chance they might see through the internal situation of the Star Shattering Sect with their clearly far more extensive knowledge of ancient hidden sects compared to the locals from the Northern Central Region.

Even more so because of how obvious it was that this Myriad Treasure Hall already had experience in dealing with other ancient hidden sects that weren’t the Star Shattering Sect. Not to mention, the strongest of those who had come from the Myriad Treasure Hall had only reached the Dao Seed Realm. Strong, yes, but within the small meeting hall that had been constructed just inside the area covered by the chaotic qi formation, he was more than confident in dealing with someone in the Dao Seed Realm.

Sending out a message to the one that was currently keeping this delegation company to guide them towards the specific meeting hall for a proper conversation while he himself flew over and arrived before the delegation walking on foot could get there.

Although his strength at the Initial Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm was far from impressive and wasn’t at all fitting for someone who was supposedly the sect master of an ancient hidden sect, Feng Chen wasn’t the slightest bit worried about this, as those wandering cultivators that had joined the sect later on before being integrated into becoming elders had already come up with the perfect excuse for him.

To them, he wasn’t viewed as the true power behind the Star Shattering Sect like one might expect from a sect master. Instead, he was seen as a promising junior who was tasked with taking on a leading position early on to learn and later take up the true position of sect master of the Star Shattering Sect.

Even if this was rather annoying for him to hear as he was the sect master of the Star Shattering Sect, he couldn’t exactly say anything about it given the current perceived status of the Star Shattering Sect. Not to mention, he did indeed fit the image of a young, handsome genius rising to the top. Having already reached the Dao Domain Lord Realm.

Okay... Part of that might have been patting himself on the back a bit, but the facts were true and he was indeed talented to have broken through to the Dao Domain Lord Realm and was widely recognized as a genius by those wandering cultivators that had joined the sect later on.

And... He wasn’t entirely against being viewed in this way, as he was indeed far from representing the Star Shattering Sect.

At the current stage, even reaching the Breaking Dawn Realm of the Profound Immortal Realm wouldn’t be enough, as he would likely have to at least reach the Land Creation Realm to properly live up to the role of sect master, something that was still far off given how it had only been a few years since he had broken through to the Initial Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm.

"Still a long way to go... Makes one wonder how that fellow improves so fast. Perhaps he really is the reincarnation of some ancient figure?" Muttering this to himself as he sat down in the central seat of the meeting room, Feng Chen allowed his thoughts to wander while waiting for the delegation to show up.

The words in question voicing some thoughts he had regarding Xuan Hao and his fast growth, as no matter how he looked at it, he couldn’t understand how someone could improve their cultivation so fast. In the end, the conclusion he had partly come to in his own head over the years was that Xuan Hao was some reincarnated great figure in the process of recovering his strength.

In fact, this was the only way he could properly understand the rapid growth in strength and the countless weird things that had popped up throughout the Star Shattering Sect over the years. Believing these were things he recovered from somewhere he had hidden them before reincarnating was far more understandable than him somehow stumbling upon them by accident. Especially the recently added tower, as there was simply no way in Feng Chen’s mind someone would just stumble upon something like that.

But even if Xuan Hao was some reincarnated cultivator from the past, Feng Chen didn’t really care much about it, as it was clear it wouldn’t really make much of a difference. He wasn’t the only one with these thoughts, as some of the original elders of the Flying Sword Sect had already come to similar conclusions but chose not to bother with it.

After all, their situation had only been improving, and they had already reached heights they would have never imagined reaching in the past. They had no reason to complain about anything.

Having his wandering thoughts interrupted by a soft rustling sound of people moving through the soft grass that surrounded the meeting hall that stood somewhat isolated from the path leading up the Ninth Star Peak. Feng Chen narrowed his eyes slightly as his senses focused on the chaotic qi formation.

Ensuring that while the meeting hall itself was on the Ninth Star Peak and within the Shattered Star Peaks, it remained isolated. Dense mist obscuring the surrounding mountain to ensure those people from the Myriad Treasure Hall wouldn’t be able to observe the deeper parts of the Shattered Star Peaks. "Everything in order..." Only letting out a quiet sigh of relief after making sure everything was working properly as he watched the delegation cautiously approach the meeting hall following behind Pei Yang, the elder he had specifically chosen for this job, as not sending out someone at the Dao Seed Realm would make the Star Shattering Sect look far too weak.

Although it wasn’t the strongest person he could have sent out, most of the others were busy and Pei Yang was also a skilled alchemist who had managed to breakthrough to the Saint Realm not logn ago. His status wasn’t low by any means.

"Greetings, Sect Master of the Star Shattering Sect. I’m Zhao Long. The one in charge of this delegation, I extend my utmost thanks towards you for putting aside time in your busy schedule to see us."

But even as he had prepared himself for all sorts of reactions from the other party once they arrived, he hadn’t expected the Dao Seed Realm cultivator to suddenly bow down in a full ninety-degree bow while introducing himself in such servile manner.

"No need... You may rise, your friends as well. Find somewhere to sit and we can move on to the reason why your Myriad Treasure Hall has come seeking out my Star Shattering Sect." The sudden turn of events caused him to freeze for a good two seconds before he quickly called for the group to rise and find somewhere to sit. Not at all used to this kind of situation.

"Of course." Nodding his head without feeling anything was unusual about the situation, the Dao Seed Realm cultivator from the Myriad Treasure Hall and those following behind him raised their heads before finding somewhere to sit down.

And before long, the first official meeting between the Star Shattering Sect and the Myriad Treasure Hall began.
