Fearful that their comprehension wasn’t high enough and they would end up failing that final stroke. Ruining all the effort they had put into the dao rune so far.

In a way, it was even worse for those at the Star Creation Realm, as dao runes only became harder to create the further one went and took longer. Just the thought of working hard to carefully carve a single dao rune for thousands of years only to have the dao rune crumble at the final moment because of insufficient comprehension of the dao to support the dao rune was despair inducing.

Still, though he was feeling nervous faced with the possibility of failure from his comprehension of the Dao not being high enough, he didn’t truly believe his comprehension would be insufficient. After all, he hadn’t just reached the Origin Realm in the Dao of Space but had even comprehended a difficult and obscure Dao like the Dao of Time. Not to mention the vast number of other Daos he had comprehended.

Compared to similar level cultivators, he far surpassed them when it came to the comprehension of the Dao. Instead, the vast quantity of spiritual qi rose into the air before surging towards the dao lotus floating above his internal world. Forming countless surging rivers of spiritual qi that stretched from every corner of his dantian towards his dao lotus.

And faced with the vast quantity of spiritual qi surging into it, the dao lotus happily devoured every last bit of it, as the newly carved dao rune on one of its lotus petals began to light up.

This situation lasted for a little over half an hour before every last bit of spiritual qi within his dantian was swallowed by the dao lotus-

However, this alone wasn’t enough, as sense of growing hunger began spreading throughout every inch of his body.

And without hesitation, he directly pulled out a large number of spirit stones and absorbed them into his dantian where the dao lotus seemingly acted on its own the second the spirit stones appeared. Not showing the slightest bit of hesitation as a mysterious power surged forth and rapidly refined the spirit stones before swallowing the pure spiritual qi contained within.
