Cursed Immortality

Chapter 1219: In Grave Danger!

Chapter 1219: In Grave Danger!

“What about Elia? Is there any news about her?”

Nyx went silent for a moment upon hearing this question before she responded curtly, “Well, if it is said there is nothing, would you believe me?”

Jacob’s eyes flickered coldly, “What do you mean? You seemed quite informed for someone who should be busy. Not to mention, with so much revolving around the Sagittarius Continent, I don’t believe there are any traces of Elia, and I’m pretty sure she’s alive.”

Jacob’s confidence wasn’t unwarranted, as he could sense that the Soul Tether Hex on Elia was still active, which means she was alive.

“Hmph!” Nyx scoffed as she replied, “I’m not lying, there’s no news about someone named ‘Elia’, but there are rumors about a being that seemed to be the leader of the group of survivors, whether they’re from the Life or Dead Factions, in the Sagittarius Continent.”

Jacob’s eyes flickered intriguingly, “You mean there are still remaining survivors within the Sagittarius Continent? Oh, you did just mention a group of people trying to flee the Sagittarius Continent when the Myth of Reverend created an opening. Anyway, are you suggesting that this so-called leader of the survivors is Elia?”

“She may or may not because there’s very little information about this floating around, and mostly it’s from the rumors. But from what I’ve gathered, when the Myth of Reverend created that opening, some survivors were able to send messages outside, especially those leading figures from the Life Faction.

“Apparently, when the Life and Dead Factions were on the verge of being assimilated within the Undead Army, a mysterious expert emerged out of nowhere.

“This expert not only gathered the remaining armies of the Life and Dead Faction, but the former also overcame everyone’s differences while uniting them, became their leader, and lastly, counter the Undead Armies of the Undead Skyfall Canyons.

“As for why I think this is your ‘cherished’ disciple, it’s because this leader is not only in the Legendary Lord Rank at that time, but it seemed they were also proficient in the Law of Death, and lastly, powerful curses!”

Jacob’s eyes shone brightly as he knew, despite these being only rumors, they had to have a source, and from Nyx’s description, this really seemed like Elia.

After all, not only did Elia have the inheritance of the Cursed Necromancer King, but the Liber Chaotica was a unique inheritance related to Curses, and it was an absolute match for Elia’s Zodiac Constitution.

Lastly, Jacob couldn’t think of anyone ‘righteous’ enough to fight the terrifying army of the Undead Skyfall Canyons, unless they had something to gain, and Elia perfectly fit this profile.

But just as Jacob felt Elia was doing fine on her own, his eyes suddenly flared violently when a crucial point came to mind.

He gravely asked, “Wait…the part about using powerful curses, is this rumor spread all around the Legendary Plains?”

“Well, to my knowledge, it is since apparently, this leader, who is known by the title, ‘Death Lord’, defeated the powerful leaders of the Dead and Life Factions by relying on mysterious yet powerful Curses. That’s why I even suspect the Death Lord to be Elia in the first place.” Nyx truthfully replied before she carefully asked with a hint of confusion and a hidden anticipation, “Why? You seemed to be concerned about it? Is she in danger?”

‘If the news had already spread about Elia using powerful cures, then wouldn’t those who are still searching for the ‘Cursed One’ be directly suspected of her, and try to capture her?

‘Although those entities, the Immortal Nimrod and Destin Saint, would know that Elia isn’t the Cursed One, what about those who don’t? Well, she should be safe as long as she’s inside the Sagittarius Continent.

‘But for how long? Especially with that mysterious entity within the Undead Skyfall Canyons, which can even scare away a so-called acolyte of a God!

Moreover, the bizarre movements of the Mythical Coalition and the emergence of the Order of Everlife seemed to be coincidental. Especially the Order of Everlife suddenly trying to ‘purify’ the Sagittarius Continent despite the Myth of Reverend running away before…’

Jacob couldn’t help but start thinking about it too much because it’s concerning Elia, which means it’s concerning him.

Even if this was just his paranoia, Jacob couldn’t ignore the fact that Elia seemed to have grown quite a lot. Also, he didn’t know how long it would take him to conquer or fail a Primary Nightmare or Primary Dream next time, as time was simply irrelevant within a Dreamscape.

Lastly, Jacob didn’t want to leave the Infinite Space unless he absolutely had to, or at least not until he could get everything from Whiteness’s Dreamscape, which is why he couldn’t afford to be distracted.

‘I can only use this way to conform if Elia is in danger or not…’

Jacob decisively commanded Nyx to keep an eye on the movements of the Mythical Coalition and Order of Everlife, before he cut off her vision despite the latter’s protest.

He then looked at the Cursed Immortality, which was still in front of him, and made a wish…

_____

Wish: I wish to teleport Elia, who is within the Great Cosmic Continent of Sagittarius, inside the Infinite Space!

Cost: 100% Infinity Blood… or 500,000 Years of Lifespan!

_____

The moment Jacob saw the cost of this wish, his eyes flared violently as he gloomily thought, ‘Even if she’s important to me or had already reached the Legendary King State, this shouldn’t cost so much just to summon her here.

‘This cost is almost one-third of the cost that I paid to escape Destin Saint and Immortal Nimrod’s encirclement and teleported where Autarch had been. This could only mean that she’s in grave danger or surrounded by something extremely powerful.’

Jacob then made another wish just to be assured…

_____

Wish: I wish to teleport myself directly to Elia, who is within the Great Cosmic Continent of Sagittarius!

Cost: 100% Infinity Blood… or 100,000 Years of Lifespan!

_____

Now Jacob was really sure that Elia might be surrounded by danger, and if he didn’t move carefully, even he might fall victim. But for this reason, he can’t ignore this unless he wants his investment to be killed by someone or worse, captured.

In the end, Jacob made a decision and waved his sleeve, and the next moment, a brocade box appeared in front of him!
