Chapter 1240: The Idolatry of Zodiac Pride

“Lastly, using the Curse magic, Accursed Authority and Embittered Judgment can be turned into hexes, causing everlasting harm to their victims until they perish from the inescapable web woven from their own hands without even realizing it.

Jacob’s eyes flickered as this was the first time he had heard about the Curse magic other than his own, and the similarities with his own abilities were quite striking, but still, he felt his own abilities were far more dominating as they were innate and wouldn’t require any lengthy process to master them.

Nonetheless, even he could tell these concepts were terrifying, and more importantly, these weren’t techniques but foundations of existence embodied by every sentient being.

Every section, interpretation, comprehension…the things you’ve understood, and even the things you haven’t, record all of it. This knowledge is also helpful to me, and I may be able to comprehend it faster than you, helping you in the process.”

There wasn’t the slightest hesitation or suspicion in her eyes when she heard Jacob’s request; if anything, she felt moved by Jacob’s gesture.
