Chapter 1241: Nightmare Plan 2.0

After Elia recorded everything about the Liber Chaotica and her insights into the Absolute Curses to the best of her current ability, she respectfully handed the wisdom tome to Jacob.

Jacob received the wisdom time and stowed it away in the infinity pendant, as this wasn’t the time to immerse himself in it for now, nor was he planning to enter the infinite space and seclusion.

After all, the presence of the Undead Skyfall had given Jacob an unexpected surprise, not to mention he never planned on returning after just taking away Elia.

Jacob then looked at Elia, who seemed to be filled with anticipation, and impassively asked, “For hundreds of years, you have been constantly placing yourself in danger while overcoming death at every corner, but you didn’t succumb to despair and give up. That’s why you deserve your place by my side, and now, since your task has been completed, you deserve rest and peace.”

Jacob merely nodded before flicking his finger, and a portal opened beside Elia, startling the latter.

“This portal will take you into my world, which is detached from the Legendary Plains, and no one can enter without my permission, not even those so-called Gods.

“Moreover, I’ve allocated you a personal chamber on the Mechanized Sovereign Tower’s second floor. You’ll directly enter it through this portal, and from there on, ‘Black Mechanic’, one of my loyal subordinates, will explain everything and answer any questions you have.

“Lastly, anything you need, knowledge, resources, tools, slaves, just ask Black Mechanic. If there’s something he has no authority over, then you may contact me through the Black Mechanic, and I’ll consider your request.

“Other than that, you are free to roam the world or the Mechanized Sovereign Tower except for some restricted zones.”

Jacob closed the portal once Elia was inside and spoke through his mind, “Black Mechanic, you must’ve heard what I just said?”

“Indeed, sir. I’ll arrange everything for the young lord!” Black Mechanic’s static voice sounded.

“Good, and make sure she won’t go anywhere near Void Mantis or the Divine Repository. At the same time, if you detect anything unusual from the Divine Repository, alert me immediately. Other than that, show her everything you have on Death Law and anything related to necromancy in your databank. If she wants it, give it to her. That should keep her occupied until I return.” Jacob commanded sternly.

“As your command, sir!”

The moment, Black Mechanic’s voice vanished, a melodious voice tingled with jealousy sounded, “Young lord, huh? What, you have finally accepted her as your heir?”

Jacob’s eyes flickered coldly as he berated, “Were you listening to my conversation with Black Mechanic?”

Jacob had two main purposes for coming here. First, naturally, to get back Elia; second, devised after he learned about the Order of Everlife’s plan to attack the Sagittarius Continent with the full force of not only the Legendary Plains but also the Mythical Coalition.

That’s why, together with Nyx, he decided to personally harvest Lifespan, especially the lifespans of those Quasi-Myths.

Lastly, he now had a third purpose that appeared after he met the Undead Skyfall, one that required him to confront a sealed God!
