Chapter 3651: Terrifying Thought
Chapter 3651: Terrifying Thought
Following that, the twins’ group tried several methods to remove the fruit from the tree. They even went to different pods, thinking that perhaps the other ones would be easier to cut off. Well, that was all for nothing, and the fruits simply didn’t come out at all.
Roan even tried to use his Dark Element directly at the stem. Even if the process was slow, it would be worth it if they could bring these fruits away. Yet, he greatly underestimated the Astral Tree’s regeneration ability. His Dark Element did indeed manage to ever so slightly corrode the stem’s skin, but it regenerated faster than he could damage it.
The Laws of Darkness and the Red Lightning did little to improve Roan’s powers. Of course, his suppressed cultivation didn’t help at all. The Astral Tree seemed capable of countering the Laws Roan used, so using them or not changed pretty much nothing.
Celis couldn’t help but look at the Astral Tree, wondering if it was actually a Demon Plant itself. "But if it is, just how strong is this thing?" He murmured.
"Forget it..." Roan finally gave up. "We just can’t cut this thing away. Instead of wasting more time, let’s immediately start cultivating."
"Now you spoke my language!" Celis was obviously happy to hear that.
"Rifindio," Kentucky looked at the guy, "what about you? These Starlight Fruits aren’t of much use to your cultivation. We do have plenty of Divine Energy Stones from all the dead on the way here, though. You could also cultivate with us. It’s just that whatever this chosen thing was about, you will have to give it up here."
Rifindio didn’t need to think twice. "This trip already evolved my bloodline to the Regal Level. Not to mention, I now acquired the Celestial Laws of Blood to use later once I reach the Peak Stage of the Divinity Realm. This is more than I could ever hope for. I’ll stay here and cultivate and take my time comprehending the laws. I can’t use any of the Laws of Blood yet, after all."
"Good!" Kentucky threw him a Spatial Ring. "There are plenty of Divine Stones in there; just take your time. However, you did reach the limit of the Initial Stage of the Space-Time Realm when you evolved. That said, Divine Origin Energy isn’t of much use to you right now. You must first fully comprehend one of the Sublaws of the Laws of Blood to advance to the Middle Stage."
"That reminds me," Rean asked out of curiosity, "what are the four Sublaws of the Blood Laws?"
Rifindio knew the answer to that, at least. He just never thought he would be able to start comprehending them so soon. "They are Coagulation, Flow, Vitality, and Carrier."
Celis found it funny. "Hey, one of the Sublaws of Wood Laws is also vitality! Hehe!"
There aren’t many, but some laws did indeed have similar sublaws. It’s just that the way they were applied to the specific main law varied.
Rean nodded. Each of them seems to describe blood pretty well. "Cool. Good luck with them. Unfortunately, we weren’t expecting your breakthrough, so Roan didn’t prepare the Laws Pills for you."
Roan glanced at him. "Each Laws Pill is made differently depending on the type of law. The pills I made for you, me, Kentucky, and Celis would be of no use to him. Don’t forget the years I spent developing those pills and how much longer it took to simply acquire the necessary materials. First of all, I would need someone who already has experience with the Four Sublaws of Blood to even start thinking about developing them."
Indeed, Rifindio wouldn’t be of much use there since he hasn’t comprehended any of those sublaws.
"It’s fine," Rifindio didn’t mind. "The Celestial Laws of Blood on my teeth are helping me with it. I can clearly feel the Laws of Blood within me and the other living beings around me. The pill would be very welcome, but I’m still in a very good position."
"Sigh..." Kentucky sighed. "We only acquired our Celestial Laws during the Divinity Realm breakthrough, so we did not get the chance to use them at the same stage as Rifindio. Imagine just how much time we could have saved..."
"Alright, that’s enough." Celis was already growing impatient. "Let’s cultivate!"
Immediately, he changed back into his World Swallowing Cedar form once again, and he moved right above one of the fruits. He used the fruit as his rooting place, completely entangling the fruit so he could absorb as much as possible.
Rean, Roan, and Kentucky also helped. Divine Energy wasn’t really the issue for them, so the tasks were divided as such. Celis’s sole focus would be on the absorption of Starlight Energy. Meanwhile, Rean, Kentucky, and Roan would prioritize Divine Origin Energy from the high-level Divine Stones. Those Stones had plenty of Divine Origin Energy, so no conversion was needed.
During the first hour, Celis already managed to calculate their gains. "So, here’s the gist of it: These fruits indeed have a humongous amount of Starlight Energy. Royer said it has enough Starlight Energy for ten years of cultivation, but we far surpass any normal cultivator’s absorption speed, thanks to the system’s upgrades and my race and laws. On the other hand, we also need a ridiculous higher amount of Starlight Energy for our breakthroughs."
"That said, each fruit has enough Starlight Energy for only three months or so of cultivation. There are four of us, after all. If it was just one of us, it would be enough for a year and something, just like Kentucky guessed earlier."
"The good news is that we don’t need to worry about wastage, so I’m prioritizing full absorption. We can simply jump from one fruit to another during the next eight years. If everything goes according to the plan, we might get enough Starlight Energy to reach the Late or maybe even Peak Stage of the Elemental Space Realm."
It might not look like a lot, but we are talking about almost an entire realm of cultivation in eight years. Anyone else would probably cry tears of blood because of how jealous they are.
Rifindio, who had already begun to immerse himself in his laws, remembered something. "By the way, what about the other groups," he said, pointing below.
After one hour, the previous group was almost at the branches. And the new group they saw arriving earlier had just started to climb the Astral Tree.
"Hmph!" Roan was cold. "If they try to cause trouble, we can simply get rid of them. Ignore them for now."
They now had a virtually unlimited source of Starlight Energy, even if it was only for eight years. That meant they could use starlight energy nonstop during fights. They didn’t need to save it, and that was a terrifying thought to consider.
