Chapter 3710: How Did You Get Here?
Chapter 3710: How Did You Get Here?
Of course, it wasn’t that easy to simply arrive and use the Long-Distance Teleport Formations. Due to the war, even such formations were being regulated. If Rean and Kentucky wanted to use them, they would need to provide their IDs, even with their higher cultivation.
Rean wondered if he should just create a fake identity like before. However, he gave up in the end. Considering the war, the humanoid races were bound to be watching everything more closely. It would be weird if a Space-Time Realm Expert who no one knew about before suddenly appeared. After all, the new ID wouldn’t have any information in the network up to that point, which would be suspicious.
Thus, Rean and Kentucky looked into the Werdlem Network and moved to the biggest City they could find in the area. Rean couldn’t open Spatial Gates in the direction of the Demon Beasts Territory, but going in another direction wasn’t a problem.
Soon, they arrived at the city of Adansin, the third biggest City in the Zwerg Continent. Why did they come here? The reason was quite simple. Rean wanted to capture someone with a cultivation similar to his own and knock him out. Instead of creating a new fake ID, it was easier to simply copy someone else’s who already had a name for himself in this Universe’s Werdlem Network.
Since they were in the central area of the Divine Realm, high-level experts were a lot easier to find, especially in a city as big as this one. Rean could even feel the presence of two Peak Stage Space-Time Realm Experts there. He wasn’t interested in those two, of course. Instead, Rean looked for someone with cultivation in the Middle Stage.
Since the city had Peak Stage ones, Middle Stage experts were even more numerous there. Rean’s Divine Sense caught a black guy inside a treasure store in the city center. The guy was trying to hide his cultivation and appearance, even using a mask to do so, but Rean easily noticed the forced suppression of his cultivation. ’Guess this one will do...’
For the next day, Rean’s Divine Sense followed the guy, who seemed to be looking for something in the city. In the end, the guy went to a hotel, entering a room which had anti-Divine Sense Formations. ’Sister Orb.’
[Leave to me!] Sister Orb worked straight away, quickly hacking into the formation. [It’s just a Silver Middle-Level Formation. You can enter his room if you want. Just be careful. He is also in the Middle Stage of the Space-Time Realm, so if you don’t capture or knock him out straight away, you might cause a commotion.]
Rean was aware of that. ’Yes, I know. Just show me the insides of the room since I don’t want him to notice my Divine Sense.’
Sister Orb watched the insides through the formation and shared that view through her connection with Rean.
Rean entered the hotel without being noticed, making his way to the guy’s room. Meanwhile, he watched the black guy preparing to start cultivating. Rean stopped in front of the room, which Sister Orb had already hacked the security, and prepared to rush inside.
However, just as he was about to do it, he saw something that took him by surprise. "Wait, what?!"
The black guy had been hiding his appearance thanks to the runes in his mask. It made others lose their focus on him and hid the features of his face. Yet, when he took his mask off just now, Rean finally saw the guy’s real face.
*Bang!*
Rean immediately kicked the room’s door open. He didn’t intend to show his presence until the last moment, but the person in that room made him change his mind.
"Who’s there?!" The black guy asked back, taking his weapon out and pointing it at the entrance. He was obviously trying to not be seen, so he thought that whatever he was trying to avoid had finally caught up to him.
Too bad he was wrong, completely wrong! When he saw the white haired young man walking into his room, his heart almost jumped out of his mouth. The youth’s appearance was different, but he absolutely would never mistake that white as snow hair and eyes.
There were, of course, other races and people with white hair and eyes. The Universe was enormous, and there were countless of them. But this one in particular was definitely unique. "Y-You... Rean?"
Rean’s eyes opened wide, this time even more shocked. He appeared in front of the man on purpose, knowing that if the man was who he thought he was, the man would definitely recognize his main features. "Elder Reliance?"
The two looked at each other as if they had seen a ghost. They both know just how far from the Lisan Universe they are now. How could they meet in this place?
Elder Reliance, the Beast Tamer from the Dalamu Sect, from back in the Sunkan Planet, Lisan Universe. Well, he was, in fact, a guest elder there. Back then, Reliance was the only black expert in the region. He was the first one to recognize Kentucky’s real race and helped the twins’ group many times.
Of course, with Rean’s age and experience, he had seen countless black experts in his life, and he knew quite a few, so it wasn’t anything new. That’s why the name Reliance didn’t appear in his mind at all when he noticed the man with his Divine Sense. Using his Body Transformation Technique, Rean could make himself look exactly like the other person.
*Zush!*
Someone else appeared by Rean’s side, seemingly just as surprise. "Holy shit! It is truly Elder Reliance!" It was Kentucky, who couldn’t help but come out to take a look at the man.
"That voice..." Reliance quickly recognized, especially due to the Black and White Feathers features of Kentucky’s humanoid form. "Kentucky?"
Kentucky nodded. "The one and only, the Great Kentucky! That’s me alright!"
In the end, Rean and Reliance asked at the same time. "How did you get here?"
