Chapter 3852: Slot Acquired
Chapter 3852: Slot Acquired
Sister Orb immediately used Kuruhei’s Werdlem Energy Signature and pretended to be him in the Werdlem Network. She was chosen because she could process loads of information at once and then allow them to leave this place fast. After all, what if some of the forces outside the Universe detected them and came here to check? That wouldn’t be very good.
Sister Orb went silent just for a few seconds, though. She knew exactly what she was looking for, and sure enough, with Kuruhei’s Werdlem Universe Authority, she found all the routes.
[Alright, I’m done! I even got a few extra pieces of information regarding them. Let’s get out of here.]
Kentucky opened a Spatial Gate straight away, and this time, he didn’t go back to the Pseudo-Temporal Path they used last to get here. Instead, he went somewhere else, a much further away Temporal Path, just in case.
As Kentucky and Rean travelled, Roan and the others checked the information Sister Orb acquired. "Alright, what have you found?"
[Kuruhei really did have access to the information regarding all the Great Void Shifter Paths. It doesn’t matter if the Shifters are broken or not, I got everything from all Universes... except for one.]
Roan didn’t need to think much to know which one. "Let me guess, he doesn’t have the information on the shifters that would bring us to the Werdlem Universe. Is that correct?"
[Yes,] Sister Orb confirmed. [The Werdlem Empire is truly strict regarding its main Universe. It is the only Rank S Universe, after all. However, I do have the information regarding all nine Rank A Universes. As you can imagine, there are plenty of Great Void Shifters in those Universes, and many are active.]
Rean joined the conversation straight away. ’We obviously can’t select an active shifter. Even inactive but in working conditions ones are out of the question. Bring out the ones that are no longer in use. Preferably, those who have been abandoned and are alone. You checked that much with Kuruhei’s ID, right?’
[Hmph! Of course! Here you go!]
Several images appeared for everyone to see. In total, there were over three hundred Great Void Shifters spread across the nine Rank A Universes. Of these, only around one hundred were currently active and in constant use. Nearly two hundred others were inactive but still in working condition, and there were large cities or similar settlements built around them, making it unwise to use those.
Then, just a tiny minority were truly destroyed/abandoned shifters that have been forgotten and left alone. To be more specific, there were seventeen of them.
"As expected of such high-ranked Universes. They definitely use the shifters many times, so they keep pretty much all of them in good shape, regardless of whether they are active or not," Roan said as he looked at the information. "Still, any of the other completely abandoned/destroyed ones will do."
"Are we really going straight to a Rank A Universe?" Tanxan asked out of concern. "Such Universes are definitely highly sought after. Chances are, the moment we appear in one of those, there will be measures in place that will detect our arrival. I definitely would have such measures if I were those Universes’ Owner."
Roan had already made up his mind, though. "We are going. Even if such measures are in place, they are definitely focused on the active and inactive shifters. Or, the most obvious, focused around the borders of the Universe for anyone coming from outside."
"No one will expect us to arrive through a broken shifter since it simply isn’t working anymore. Also, you said we might be detected, but that would likely be the case only if we used the shifters in the normal way. We aren’t, though. We are only using the abyssal paths. No Great Void Shifter Formations will be activated for us to get there."
’Roan is right. And, as soon as we arrive, we can set forth and look for someone to capture and copy their ID. At that point, we won’t be found anymore either. Our priority is our cultivation, Starlight Energy. A Rank A Universe is bound to have many rich sources of it.’ Kentucky also gave his opinion.
Rean added another piece of information. ’There is more. Check the message I got after we approached the border of this Universe.’
Right after, the message was displayed to everyone in the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm. In fact, that message had already arrived quite a few weeks ago, but because there was no Werdlem Network Signal, Rean was only able to see it now.
Roan’s eyes lit up as soon as he saw the contents. "So he really got it, uh?"
-Here’s your Great Void Black Hole slot. It can be transferred to anyone’s ID, and it’s multi-universal. Please note that the use of the slot must be reserved in advance. Additionally, the waiting period typically lasts at least fifty years.-
It was a message from none other than Rebarlo, the man Rean had helped fix a ’certain key’ for him. As payment, Rean said he wanted a slot to use the Great Void Black Hole, which was extremely rare, even in the Werdlem Empire’s bubble. There are only three Great Void Black Holes in the Great Void that are shared by all the Rank A, B, and C Universes.
There is also one last Great Void Black Hole that exists in the Werdlem Universe. It is the only one inside a Universe as well.
Let’s not forget that to become a Celestial Realm Expert through the normal method, a Great Void Black Hole is a must, and slots to be allowed close are rare and extremely hard to acquire.
-Now, whatever you did to my key, make sure to not activate it.- That’s how Rebarlo’s message ended.
Naturally, Rean had no intention of causing any trouble for Rebarlo anymore. Rebarlo kept his end of the deal, so how could Rean not do the same? Regardless of what Rebarlo was going to use that key for, Rean didn’t care anymore.
"It is still up for debate whether this slot is real or if this is going to be a trap," Roan commented. "Nonetheless, it is worth a try. Now we just need the cultivation level."
[Alright, cool. Then we need to select one of the Nine Rank A Universes. Which one do we take?]
’Is there any difference, Sister Orb? Have you got any information that could help us with Starlight Energy?’ Rean asked.
[I gave it a quick check, and it seems like we will have plenty of sources to choose from, regardless of which Universe we pick up.]
Roan didn’t need to hear that anymore. "Then fuck it. A1 it is."
’Good,’ Rean had no issues with it. ’So... are we coming out this time?’
Roan nodded. "Yes. It is about time we leave the shadows."
