Chapter 3966: To Riquicious

Back at the Divine Military Academy, Rean put his CD away and quickly shared his memories of what was discussed with Roan. ’So, what do you think?’

Roan was on his way back to his room, preparing to enter the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm. ’Just don’t forget that finding this Chronoblade Serpent is not our primary objective. Sure, the extra Celestial Points would be good, but we can live without them. The system will eventually come up with some other quests, too.’

’I’m aware,’ Rean said as he began to gather a few materials to forge something. ’Still, it won’t cost us much to give it a try and see what happens.’

Roan pondered for a moment. Then, in his room, he looked at his bed and waved his hand. Something seemed to appear for a split second, just to disappear again. Finally, he returned to the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm.

In the following days, Ximao talked to the other countries, and they agreed to send those in the Space-Bending Realm ahead of time to check the Capital of the Riquicious Empire. It wasn’t hard to do since Ximao knew many of the other continents would be doing similar things.

Of course, the twins’ group wasn’t going there alone. Other than the other members in the Space-Bending Realm, there were a few Elemental Space and even two Space-Time Realm experts who would follow them for the sake of safety.

With everything ready, the entourage gathered at the Divine Military Academy’s Super Long-Distance Teleport Formation, with Krue’Suan leading the group together with a woman called Hijie. She was the second Space-Time Realm expert, but she was not connected to Ximao, like Krue’Suan was.

"All of you," Ximao got their attention. "The slots to enter the Future Realm are not guaranteed, as you already know. You are going ahead of time to check the competition. The Future Realm is an environment even better than the outside world. With the accelerated time, by the time you come out, some of you might have cultivated more than an entire cultivation realm. That’s the kind of place everyone will be fighting to enter."

He continued. "Last time the Future Realm opened, two members of our Runia Continent managed to enter it, and I don’t need to talk about what they accomplished after they returned, right? Our objective this time is to have at least three of you get inside. We had so many Golden Radiance talents recently, so I firmly believe it is possible. Remember, this is an opportunity that might never happen again."

"Yes, Principal Ximao!" Everyone spoke at the same time.

"Good!" Ximao was satisfied. "Activate the teleport formation!"

The Divine Stones were added, a flash of silver light occurred, and everyone vanished.

Sondao, the Capital of the Riquicious Empire...

The Riquicious Empire had various continents in its books, and the Riquicious Continent, which obviously carried the same name, was where the Future Realm and the Imperial Family were found.

In the Empire’s Capital, Sondao, the teleport formations of the Formations Guild received and sent away experts of all races by the millions every day. One of the thousands of Super-Long Distance Teleport Formations suddenly activated, and a group of thirty experts appeared.

Twenty of them were in the Space-Bending Realm, eight in the Elemental Space, and two at the Space-Time Realm. Obviously, they were the twins’ group.

Rean instantly activated his Divine Sense Bending Skill. Even though his soul was at the Peak Stage of the Divinity Realm, he might still not be able to detect the Divine Sense of a Celestial Realm Expert. The Divine Sense Bending Skill was different, though. After all, the stronger the Divine Sense, the stronger the reaction when it had to be bent by Rean’s skill.

’At least right now, there are no Celestial Realm Experts around,’ Rean said to his group.

Roan wasn’t as convinced. ’That just means you can’t detect a Divine Sense at that level, not that an expert at the Celestial Realm isn’t here. The guy might just not be using his Divine Sense right now.’

’True,’ Rean nodded. ’I won’t deactivate my bending skill while we are here, so if there is one, I will eventually catch his presence.’

Krue’Suan, unaware of what the twins were discussing, came down from the teleport formation. "We already have a state rented for us. Remember, you can go out on your own and perform any activities you like. No one here will get in your way. However, you must show your face at the state at least once per week and report what you found. If you truly wish to enter the Future Realm, then your actions now are your first step. Let’s go."

Krue’Suan guided the entire group out of the formations guild. The place they were staying was not in the center of the city, though. The city was divided into outer, inner, and core districts, and the core districts were all occupied by large organizations, clans, and the like from the Riquicious Empire. Simply put, outsiders like the Runia Continent experts had no hope of acquiring a state at the core, regardless of how many Divine Stones they could offer.

Thus, their state was in the inner districts, the 1123rd one, to be more specific. Nonetheless, it was quite large, more than capable of accommodating every member of their group and giving each plenty of space.

The twins’ group wasn’t paying much attention to that, though. Instead, they were waiting for Sister Orb’s message. ’How is it, Sister Orb? Did you find anything?’

[Nothing. There are countless formations of all sizes and levels in this city. I will need you guys to find where the test will be held, then I can focus on the formations that will be used there.]

Rean nodded, turning to Krue’Suan. "Senior Krue’Suan, where will the contest for the slots to enter the Future Realm be held? If there is a place where our future opponents can be found, that is likely to be their gathering point."

Everyone looked at Krue’Suan, agreeing with Rean on that.

Krue’Suan looked at Hijie instead. "You had been here in the previous event."

Hijie didn’t mind, opening her CD and sharing the location with everyone. "Here you go. Just try to not cause trouble. Just like Rean said, you will find many of your future opponents there. So, there will definitely be those who will try anything to eliminate as much of the competition as possible. Of course, if you see that you can do the same thing to them, the story changes. Just go for it as long as your actions pose no risk for yourselves."

Everyone there didn’t waste time, and they left the state after registering their IDs with the state’s protective formations. With that, they could enter and leave whenever they wanted.

Everyone was curious to check on the competition, so after using several teleportation formations within the city, they arrived on the north side. More specifically, they reached the area where the Riquicious Imperial Family’s palace was located. However, the selection process wouldn’t take place there; instead, it would occur in a massive facility situated a few tens of kilometers away.

They soon noticed that the place was quite lively. Sure enough, they weren’t the first competitors to get there, even though there was still a year for the selection. Still, it wasn’t wrong to say that the competition already started.
