Death… And Me

Chapter 4106: Someone Who Can Tell You

Chapter 4106: Someone Who Can Tell You

Back on the twins’ side, the call continued. "We only got three of you Primordial Beasts free, you know. Getting all twelve doesn’t seem very easy, especially since we don’t know where most of them are at the moment."

-True,- Laiana confirmed. -I’m still in contact with Xyrath, and he is doing well. He is also looking for other primordial beasts during any free time he gets. He doesn’t intend to rely on you guys alone and will do his own work. So, what I can promise is that we will also do whatever we can. Hick, you’d better do something too.-

"I know that already," Hick countered.

Then, he turned to the twins’ group. "The question is whether they want to help or not. Honestly, I believe they are more inclined to go to the Celestial Plane."

Roan didn’t lie. "Given the options, the Celestial Plane does indeed seem a better bet. However, there are a few issues we can’t ignore."

Dofrei could tell. "You have never been to the Celestial Plane, so you don’t know if you can return to this world even if you go up there. Or maybe you can return, but because you ascended from within the Werdlem Empire, you might only be able to return to the Werdlem Empire."

"Last but not least, you still don’t know where this Lisan Universe of yours is located. Even if going to the Celestial Plane works in your favor, and you can leave the Werdlem Empire, you don’t know where to go next. And it is very unlikely anyone up there would know anything about Lisan since Lisan hasn’t had any ascenders before. No one there would have that kind of information."

"Those are the problems with that plan indeed," Roan confirmed.

"First, let me make one thing clear," Dofrei didn’t want to hide any information from the twins. That’s why he was never made privy of anything, exactly because of this open behavior.

"If you go to the Celestial Plane, you will be able to come back to this world pretty much anywhere. There is no such thing as only being able to return to the Werdlem Empire. Simply put, that guy called Victor wasn’t lying when he said you could leave if you went to the same place as Triaglia. Hum... I just don’t know if this Triaglia truly went to the Celestial Plane. Reaching the Peak Stage of the Celestial Realm and Ascending are two completely different things."

Well, Triaglia’s outcome didn’t really matter to them at the moment. "Thank you for being honest about it."

So, going to the Celestial Plane was an option, but an option that wouldn’t lead anywhere. At least it was good that they knew they could return to this world and not inside the Werdlem Empire.

"Does that mean you intend to help us get everyone free?" Hick asked, full of expectation.

"Let’s not get ahead of ourselves," Roan stopped him there.

With their power now, the twins had some confidence they could find information about the outside world. The only question was whether the Werdlem Empire had any idea of where the Lisan Universe was located. Chances were they knew nothing. That said, instead of looking for information about the Lisan Universe, it would be much better to look for information about the Garisan Empire instead.

Garisan was definitely a power that existed for much longer than the Lisan Universe. It was also they who attacked Lisan. So if they could go to Garisan, wouldn’t they find where Lisan was located, too? So, primarily, the twins’ group objective was to find more about the other powers of the Great Void.

And yes, one might think that going to the Celestial Plane, they could look for someone there who knew the Garisan Empire. But chances were much lower there.

"So you see?" Roan continued. "Although not guaranteed, there is a good chance we can find something that could lead us back to Lisan."

Then, Roan faintly smiled. "If you want us to help you, you’d better tell us what this plan of yours is to get away from this place. I never really believed when you said you didn’t know about it."

"Sorry, I know nothing," Dofrei sighed.

"I’m talking about Hick," Roan corrected.

-Hick, just tell them,- Laiana’s voice came from the CD. -I also want to know the details.-

Hick narrowed his eyes. Then, he made a decision. "I won’t tell you, but I will let you talk to someone who will."

"Someone? Who is it?"

Hick finally spoke. "My master."

Dofrei and the twins’ group were surprised. "So you DO KNOW where he is!"

"Yes," Hick nodded. "In fact, here is here, in the Werdlem Universe. I wasn’t supposed to tell you anything until you got the proper strength. To think you would get to the Peak Stage of the Celestial Realm and comprehend all the laws at once. That was beyond my expectations. But now that I think about it, I guess I understand why master was so confident in his system."

"You are absolutely bringing me with you, you hear me?!" Dofrei demanded. There is no way he would let that chance pass.

Hick didn’t mind. "Yeah, yeah... However, getting to him might be a little tricky."

Hick then told everyone how Default was imprisoned within the Great Void Black Hole, at the very center. He explained that the Werdlem Universe’s BH1 was what powered the confinement that kept his master there.

Roan narrowed his eyes. "How could we ever survive such a thing?"

"I know I can’t," Hick explained. "Well, I wouldn’t really die. But I sure wouldn’t be able to escape with the power I have at the moment. In the end, I will fall into the same location where Master is."

"I visited him once before I looked for you guys. When I was almost losing the battle against the BH1’s power, Master intervened and pulled me in. He was also the one who sent me out."

"Oh!" Rean was happy to hear that. "So we can just do whatever you did."

"That part is not a problem," Hick explained. "The problem is that BH1 is anything but easy to approach now."

"How come?" Everyone asked.

Celis was the first one to understand. "Right. They obviously know we have the Vial of God Blood. Well, Hick used it, so we don’t have it anymore. It’s just that they don’t know Hick has already used it. We also appeared in the Werdlem Universe. Any idiot could put two and two together. The Werdlem Empire is definitely watching BH1 closely now, and I doubt they will leave any time soon. If I were them, I would definitely be thinking that we would try to get close to BH1 to try a Celestial Realm Breakthrough."

Hick agreed with Celis. "You got it. BH1 was already extremely well protected to start with. Now... Well, I doubt anything can get close to it without them knowing."
