Chapter 1369 Cultivation Realms of the Divine Realm
Chapter 1369 Cultivation Realms of the Divine Realm
"What is it?" Max asked, his expression serious as he sensed that what Lady Virelia was about to say would define his path in the Divine Realm.
"First of all, you must reach the Rebirth Realm as fast as possible," Lady Virelia said solemnly, her tone carrying undeniable authority. "In the Divine Realm, Rebirth Realm is merely the starting point. Below that, one is not even considered a true cultivator in the eyes of the Black Dragon Palace. Divine Rank disciples are not viewed as assets here. They are treated as servant disciples, tasked with errands, labor, and auxiliary duties for outer disciples. Their status is closer to tools than cultivators."
She looked at Max directly as she continued. "I granted you the status of an outer disciple only because your combat power is far beyond what your cultivation realm suggests. However, this exception does not change reality. If your cultivation does not reach the Rebirth Realm, your position will always be unstable. Strength decides everything in the Divine Realm, and realms are the first measure of that strength."
Max nodded slowly, fully understanding the weight behind her words. After a brief pause, he voiced the doubt that had been lingering in his mind. "Master, what are the cultivation realms of the Divine Realm exactly? And how do cultivators here refine Divine Essence? Do they still rely on monster cores like in the mortal realms?"
"There are ten major cultivation realms in the Divine Realm," Lady Virelia replied, her voice steady and clear. "After Divine Rank comes the Rebirth Realm, which marks the true transformation of a cultivator. Beyond that is the Law Awakening Realm, where one begins to truly comprehend the laws of the universe. Next is the Law Refinement Realm, where those laws are tempered and strengthened within the body and soul. After that comes the Law Manifestation Realm, where one's laws can directly manifest in reality and influence the world itself."
She paused briefly before continuing. "All of these realms are considered attainable stages for disciples of great forces. Beyond them lies the Divine Lord Realm, which is the realm I am currently in. Above Divine Lord is the Divine King Realm. Only cultivators at that level are qualified to establish a third rate force in the Divine Realm and carve out territory of their own."
Lady Virelia's gaze sharpened slightly. "There are four more realms beyond the Divine King Realm, but those are far beyond your current scope. Even speaking of them now would be meaningless. If you wish to travel freely and explore the Divine Realm without constantly courting death, you must at least reach the Law Manifestation Realm. Anything below that will only limit you and place you in danger."
She concluded calmly, "Law Manifestation Realm is where the peak geniuses of the Divine Realm currently stand. Only those at that level can truly be called elites."
"I see," Max said quietly as he absorbed every word. Ten cultivation realms. Divine Rank, which once felt like the peak of existence, was nothing more than the bottom rung here.
At that moment, Max finally understood how insignificant his current strength truly was in the vast Divine Realm, and at the same time, how long and brutal the road ahead of him would be.
"As for cultivating in the Divine Realm, it is actually far easier than in the mortal realms," Lady Virelia said calmly, her tone carrying the confidence of someone who had long since mastered this path. "In the mortal realms, cultivation is restricted by the world itself. Pure mana cannot exist freely and is instead trapped within beast cores, natural treasures, or extremely rare locations. Because of these restrictions, cultivators are forced to hunt beasts or rely on limited resources just to advance."
She raised her hand slightly, and Max could clearly feel the dense Divine Essence flowing invisibly through the air around them. "The Divine Realm has no such limitations. Divine Essence exists everywhere, saturating the air, the land, and even space itself. You do not need to search for it. It surrounds you at all times. What you truly need is a cultivation technique refined enough to draw it in, refine it, and harmonize it with your body and soul. Without such a technique, even standing in the heart of the Divine Realm would not allow you to cultivate efficiently."
Lady Virelia continued with a measured expression. "Naturally, the Divine Realm also possesses countless external resources. Divine Stones, essence crystals, bloodline relics, and various treasures can all accelerate cultivation. However, these are supplementary tools. They are not the foundation. Unlike mana, which could be absorbed directly through beast cores in the mortal realms, Divine Essence is far more refined and far more resistant. Absorbing it without guidance is slow and dangerous, which is why cultivation techniques play such a crucial role here. They act as bridges, allowing the body to accept Divine Essence without being torn apart by it."
She finally concluded, her gaze steady and reassuring. "As for techniques, inheritances, and the true cultivation methods of the Black Dragon Palace, you will learn all of that when you formally report to the Thirty Third Hall."
Max nodded solemnly. From her, he at least understood that cultivation in Divine Realm works much more differently than it was in mortal realms at least for Acaris.
"Now go and report yourself to the Thirty Third Hall," Lady Virelia said in a calm yet authoritative voice. "A disciple is waiting for you outside the door. He will guide you to the hall and help you settle in."
Max rose to his feet and bowed deeply, his posture respectful and sincere. "Thank you, Master, for the guidance and lessons just now. I will not forget them."
"Mm," Lady Virelia replied with a gentle smile, giving a small nod. "Go on."
Max straightened himself and turned toward the exit. As he walked out of the room, the heavy doors closed behind him, leaving Lady Virelia alone within the quiet hall. The faint hum of Divine Essence filled the space once more, and her gaze lingered on the spot where Max had been sitting only moments ago.
"Your potential in Obsidian Dragon City was the greatest I have ever seen," she murmured softly, her voice carrying a hint of contemplation. "But the Black Dragon Palace is not the mortal world. Here, geniuses are as common as clouds, and talent alone is never enough."
Her eyes narrowed slightly as she continued, "Will that potential be enough to shine brightly in a place like this, or will you be buried beneath the weight of tens of thousands of disciples who are all struggling for the same recognition and resources? Will you fade quietly into obscurity, or will you rise against the storm and shake the entire Black Dragon Palace?"
A faint smile curved her lips as her thoughts settled. "I cannot wait to see the answer."
Outside the hall, Max stepped forward, unaware of the expectations now placed upon him, yet carrying within him the resolve to carve his own path through the vast and merciless Divine Realm.
