Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100

Chapter 1391 Mysterious Revona

Chapter 1391  Mysterious Revona

"This battle goes to Max," Lady Virelia announced clearly, her voice echoing across the arena as the result was declared without hesitation.

A group of disciples quickly rushed forward, carefully lifting Jonathan from the ground and supporting his battered body as they escorted him away from the arena. The atmosphere among the spectators shifted instantly, shock rippling through the ranks of the Heavenly Kirin Clan and the Dark Phoenix Clan alike.

"Max won… he truly won," Clan Head Jeremy of the Heavenly Kirin Clan murmured, his expression filled with disbelief. He had heard countless reports about Max's frightening combat strength, yet witnessing it with his own eyes was something entirely different.

Even now, the scene before him felt unreal. A mortal who had ascended not long ago, possessing cultivation at only the eighth level of the Divine Rank, had just defeated an outer disciple of the Dark Phoenix Clan who stood an entire realm above him. No matter how he tried to rationalize it, the result was still difficult to accept.

Clan Head Raven was equally shaken. She had never heard of anyone in the Divine Realm capable of fighting across such a vast gap in cultivation, let alone winning decisively.

At that moment, her thoughts drifted to a crucial detail she had almost overlooked. Max was the one acknowledged by the sword of the Sword Sovereign. With strength and potential like this, it was no longer surprising why that peerless sword had chosen him alone while rejecting countless others.

"He is strong, but that is all," a calm voice suddenly spoke from beside Clan Head Raven, cutting through the heavy silence.

The young woman standing there stepped forward slightly, her tone steady and confident. "I can defeat him easily."

She wore a mask shaped like a phoenix, completely concealing her face and revealing nothing of her expression. In truth, even Clan Head Raven herself had never seen the true face of this disciple.

She only knew that this young woman was extraordinarily mysterious, possessing thoughts and understanding that seemed far beyond the norm, as though her perspective came from a world entirely different from their own.

That was precisely why Clan Head Raven had brought her along, prepared for any unforeseen situation, fully aware that her strength within the Rebirth Realm was unmatched.

Now, as she watched Max standing calmly at the center of the arena after his victory, Clan Head Raven realized that the very scenario she had feared had finally arrived.

"Alright, Revona, you are up then," Clan Head Raven said calmly as she turned toward the masked young woman beside her, her tone carrying a quiet certainty as though the outcome of the next battle was already decided in her mind.

Revona gave a slight nod in response, offering no words and no expression that could be seen through the phoenix shaped mask covering her face.

She began walking toward the arena with unhurried steps, her movements smooth and unforced, yet each step seemed to carry an inexplicable weight that pressed down on the surroundings.

The moment Max noticed a figure approaching him, he shifted his attention toward her, expecting another opponent much like the last. However, the instant his eyes fell upon Revona, his entire body reacted violently. It felt as though countless invisible alarms were ringing within him at the same time.

His instincts flared uncontrollably, his Three Divine Body reacted on its own, and every part of his being screamed at him to turn around and flee as far as possible. Everything inside him was telling him the same thing, that the person walking toward the arena was anything but ordinary.

'Who is she?' Max thought in shock, his heart pounding heavily in his chest. The sensation was disturbingly familiar. He had only felt something like this once before, back when he had stood before Mark while he was still weak and powerless, yet now that same overwhelming sense of danger surged through him again simply from looking at this masked woman.

The difference was that this time, he was no longer weak, which made the feeling all the more terrifying.

Revona soon stepped into the arena and stopped a short distance away from Max, standing calmly opposite him. The space between them felt strangely distorted, as though the air itself had grown heavier and more oppressive.

"I am Revona," she said, her voice steady and emotionless as she introduced herself.

"I am Max… Morgan," Max replied, hesitating slightly after saying his first name. For a brief moment, he felt an unnatural pressure, as if something unseen was trying to force his true name out of his mouth, the name Max Voidwalker.

The sensation was deeply unsettling, but he resisted it instinctively and finished his introduction with the name he chose to give. Even that small exchange left him feeling uneasy, as though he had just brushed against something he did not fully understand.

'This woman is real danger,' Max realized with absolute clarity. Although his senses told him that Revona's cultivation level was roughly the same as Jonathan's, he could not shake the feeling that what he was perceiving was nothing more than a carefully constructed facade.

Every instinct he possessed was screaming at him to be cautious, to stay alert, to survive. That kind of warning rarely came to him without reason, and the fact that it was happening now told him everything he needed to know.

"Let us fight," Revona said with a faint smile, her voice calm and almost gentle as it echoed across the arena.

Max's eyes narrowed the instant she spoke, because although her words were simple, a second layer of communication slipped directly into his mind through voice transmission.

"You are truly strange," Revona's voice sounded within him, carrying a tone of quiet curiosity. "You managed to forcibly lie before me, and this rarely ever happens. What is even more unsettling is your fate. I can perceive the fate of almost everyone I meet, yet when I try to look at yours, all I see is eternal darkness. Tell me, why is that?"
