Chapter 1394 Forcing Through Brute Force!

Chapter 1394  Forcing Through Brute Force!

"How did this mortal brat open a vein of the Seven Divine Veins?" Clan Head Raven howled, her eyes wide with disbelief as she stared at Max. "The power he is releasing right now is pure physical divine strength, the kind that can only be achieved through the Seven Divine Veins. Only by opening one of those veins can someone reach this level of raw divine power within their body. How did this mortal brat accomplish something like this?"

The more she observed Max, the more unsettled she became. Mastery over three concepts at the fifth level was already the mark of an extremely rare genius, yet now he had revealed a Divine Vein as well. She struggled to find a word that could properly define his existence, because ordinary labels no longer applied to him.

At the same time, a sense of relief surfaced within her. It was fortunate that she had insisted on bringing Revona to this confrontation, because without her presence, the Dark Phoenix Clan and Heavenly Kirin Clan would have lost both battles without question.

As long as Revona stood in the arena, Clan Head Raven believed they still had hope. At least, that was what she desperately told herself.

Clan Head Jeremy of the Heavenly Kirin Clan appeared far calmer than the others. Although shock flickered in his eyes when he saw the Seven Divine Veins manifested, he accepted the sight more readily.

When he recalled that Max had been chosen by the sword of the Sword Sovereign, the impossible suddenly felt inevitable, as though this was simply another proof that Max was an existence that defied common sense.

"Seven Divine Veins?" Revona muttered, her voice low and heavy as she stared at Max, whose body was overflowing with an intense and oppressive physical divine might that made the air around him feel thick and suffocating.

"You know about this?" Max asked, his gaze fixed on her as he felt the power surging through every fiber of his body.

Revona nodded solemnly. "I have heard that only a handful of humans have ever achieved this in the Divine Realm. Even among them, most only managed it by chance or external help. As for the true method of opening the Seven Divine Veins, only the Primordials are said to possess that knowledge. How did you do it?"

"I will tell you if you can defeat me," Max replied with a wide grin, confidence radiating from him as the words left his mouth.

The instant he finished speaking, his figure vanished from where he stood. Space seemed to compress for a fraction of a moment before Max appeared directly in front of Revona, his movement so fast that it left no trace behind.

He swung his fist forward without hesitation, and as it traveled through the air, the atmosphere itself seemed to fracture under the sheer weight of his power.

Revona reacted instinctively, extending her hand to block the attack as she had done countless times before. However, the moment her palm met Max's fist, her expression changed. Max felt it clearly. His punch tore through a thin yet absolute layer of invisible force that had always negated his strength before, ripping it apart through sheer raw power before finally striking her palm directly.

A deafening explosion echoed throughout the arena.

A massive shockwave erupted outward, shaking the entire battlefield and sending violent ripples through the air. A figure was blasted back this time.

Revona's body was hurled away, her feet carving long skid marks across the arena floor as she struggled to regain control. She only came to a stop when she was just a step away from crashing into the towering wall at the edge of the arena, the force of the impact leaving the ground trembling beneath her.

He broke through my ability with pure strength? Revona thought in shock, her heart pounding for the first time since she had entered the arena. Until this moment, her ability had never failed her. No matter how powerful her opponent was, their attacks had always been erased before they could truly reach her.

She had always known that the Seven Divine Veins were terrifying, spoken of as a forgotten and unreachable path, yet this was the first time she had experienced their power firsthand.

Only now did she truly understand what it meant to open even a single vein of the Seven Divine Veins, and how overwhelming the raw physical strength born from that path could truly be.

Just as Revona steadied herself and regained her footing, Max's figure appeared before her once again, his movement so sudden that it felt as though space itself had folded to place him directly in front of her.

His fist was already in motion, carrying the overwhelming might of the fully released Vein of Origin as it surged straight toward her without hesitation.

Revona's expression turned solemn the instant she sensed the danger. This time, she did not attempt to casually intercept the attack. She raised her palm with calm precision, and a gentle blue light began to glow from it, soft yet profound, as though it carried a depth that went far beyond simple defensive techniques.

When Max's fist reached her palm, he felt it immediately. A layer of force manifested once more between them, striking against his fist before it could fully land, yet unlike before, this force did not simply erase his strength. Instead, it resisted, condensed, and then exploded outward.

A thunderous impact rang through the arena as both figures were forced back. Max slid several steps across the ground before stabilizing himself, his feet grinding against the arena floor, while Revona was hurled far more violently, her body crashing into the wall at the edge of the arena with a heavy impact.

"I was repelled back?" Max muttered as he came to a stop, his brows furrowing in concentration. "No, that was not simple repulsion. It felt like a shockwave erupted directly from her palm and pushed me away. Her methods are truly strange."

Before his thoughts could settle further, Revona stepped away from the wall and walked back into the arena, standing opposite Max once more as though the collision had barely affected her. Her gaze was steady, yet there was a noticeable change in her presence, a subtle heaviness that made the air around her feel tense.

"You are the first person who has forced me to take a fight seriously," she said in a solemn voice. "But that also means that from this point onward, I will not hold back anything."

Max's lips curved into a smile, his eyes burning with anticipation rather than fear. "I would not have it any other way."

Revona's eyes hardened, and in the next instant, black flames began to pour out from her body. The flames did not spread chaotically but instead gathered around her in a controlled manner, forming a dark cloak of fire that wrapped tightly around her frame.

Two massive black phoenix wings unfolded behind her back, their flames rippling with terrifying intensity, and the pressure she released surged dramatically, making it unmistakably clear that the true battle had only just begun.
