Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100

Chapter 1555 Devouring True Origin Devil Blood?

Chapter 1555  Devouring True Origin Devil Blood?

"That reminds me," Max murmured as his thoughts shifted, his expression growing more contemplative. "I still have that drop of True Origin Devil Blood sealed within the Dimension of Time. In one way or another, both my Infernal Energy and my Infernal Demon Transformation originated from that very drop. It is the true source of everything related to this power. If that is the case… could I devour it to drastically increase my strength?"

The moment that thought surfaced, Max immediately shook his head, forcing himself to reject it.

He clearly remembered what had happened to Mark, the crownbearer of Acaris. Even with divine power flowing through him, Mark had still been corrupted after coming into contact with the True Origin Devil Blood, losing control and becoming a puppet of its malevolent will.

Max's expression turned serious as he considered his own state. The hatred burning within his heart was far from stable, and if he were to attempt something so reckless, the consequences would likely be far worse.

"I would most likely lose myself completely and descend into madness if I tried to devour that drop of blood right now," Max muttered, his voice low.

After a moment of silence, he spoke again, his tone steady but resolute. "Only when my strength reaches a level where I can stand on equal footing with the power contained in that drop can I even consider such a thing."

Max understood his limits clearly. His current strength was nowhere near enough to withstand or control the overwhelming force within that blood, and attempting it now would only lead to disaster.

Even so, a faint certainty lingered in his mind.

There would come a day when he would have no choice but to face it.

"There are far too many devil corpses scattered across this battlefield," Max muttered, a faint smile forming on his lips as a new resolve settled within him. "If I devour them, my Infernal Energy will continue to grow."

With that thought, he began moving again, his figure cutting across the desolate land as his black flames flickered faintly around him. Wherever he went, the flames followed, sweeping across the ground like a silent tide.

It did not take long before he encountered the first cluster of corpses.

Dozens of devil bodies lay piled together, their forms twisted and lifeless, yet still carrying traces of the dark energy they once possessed. Without hesitation, Max released his black flames, allowing them to engulf the corpses completely. In a matter of moments, the bodies were reduced to nothing, their essence drawn into him as nourishment for his Infernal Energy.

He did not stop there.

As he continued forward, more and more corpses appeared along his path. Devils, primordials, and humans alike were devoured without distinction. The battlefield itself became a source of power for him, and he showed no hesitation in consuming everything that could strengthen him.

With each wave of devouring, Max felt the changes within his body becoming more pronounced. The power that had been stabilized at the peak of the Rebirth Realm began to loosen, as though a barrier was slowly cracking. A faint but undeniable pull toward the first level of the Law Awakening Realm began to emerge.

A spark of excitement flashed in his eyes.

Without slowing down, Max increased his pace, devouring every corpse that came into his sight as he continued moving toward Isabella's location.

However, as he advanced deeper into the battlefield, he once again encountered those horrifying creatures.

They appeared just as suddenly as before, surrounding him without any prior warning, their grotesque forms closing in with the same predatory intent. Their presence was still completely absent from his Dimensional Sovereign Body, as though they did not exist within his perception at all.

Max's expression turned serious.

Despite his control over this dimension, these creatures continued to bypass his awareness entirely, which made their existence even more unsettling.

Yet this time, he did not hesitate.

Black flames erupted once more, forming countless swords that pierced through the creatures the moment they lunged at him. Explosions followed instantly, tearing their massive bodies apart and reducing them to nothing but burning remnants.

Then, just as before, he devoured them.

The strange energy within their bodies once again flowed into him, merging with his Infernal Energy and strengthening it further.

As Max continued onward, a new realization began to form in his mind.

It was not just those creatures that his Dimensional Sovereign Body could not perceive.

Even the countless corpses scattered across the battlefield had never appeared within his perception.

He slowed slightly, his brows tightening as he connected the pieces together.

"So that is how it is," Max muttered quietly. "My Dimensional Sovereign Body can only perceive those who belong to my timeline within this dimension. Everything that exists here from the past timeline is completely invisible to it."

That realization made his expression turn more solemn, yet it also helped him understand the limitations of his control over this place.

Even so, he did not stop.

He continued to move forward, devouring everything in his path, growing stronger with every step as the battlefield itself became his resource.

After some time, the desolate landscape began to shift, and figures finally appeared within his perception once again.

Max's eyes sharpened.

"This is the group Isabella is in."

However, the moment Max took a closer look, his expression turned solemn.

Hundreds of those same horrifying creatures that had attacked him earlier had now surrounded Isabella's group, forming a tightening circle that left almost no room to escape. Their massive, grotesque bodies pressed in from all sides, their distorted maws opening and closing as low, chilling growls echoed across the battlefield.

Isabella's group consisted of several individuals at the Law Awakening Realm along with a few at the Law Refinement Realm, yet even with such strength, they were clearly struggling to hold their ground.

Not everyone possessed the ability to deal with these creatures effectively. While some members managed to resist and push them back with difficulty, others were completely overwhelmed by the sheer ferocity and unnatural resilience of the beasts.

Isabella herself was among those who found it difficult to fight them. Her attacks failed to produce any meaningful effect, leaving her in a vulnerable position as the creatures continued to close in.

The imbalance in numbers only made the situation worse.

There were barely nine people in her group, yet they were facing an overwhelming swarm of hundreds. The battlefield around them had turned into a desperate struggle for survival, and with each passing moment, their position grew more precarious.

Max's gaze hardened as he took in the scene.

Their situation had already reached a critical point.
