Chapter 1738: Divine Light of Justice and Truth!

Chapter 1738: Divine Light of Justice and Truth!

Karo’s expression changed drastically.

He looked around with sharp eyes, and the hatred on his face was quickly replaced by shock and caution. He could still sense the demons around him. He could still sense Munro. He could still sense Nancy. But the outside world was gone, and the thousands of demons he had gathered had been dragged into this strange luminous dimension in a single instant.

“How did he do this?” Karo muttered, his voice low and filled with disbelief.

Munro’s eyes narrowed deeply.

Unlike the ordinary demons, he did not panic immediately, but the grip around his black blade tightened. His instincts were screaming at him that this place was not simple. It was not an illusion, and it was not a normal domain. It felt more real than a domain, wider than a battlefield technique, and far more oppressive than any ordinary spatial skill.

Nancy stood a short distance away from Max, her silver hair glowing faintly beneath the golden radiance surrounding them. She looked at the endless mountains of light, the rivers of luminance, and the sky that seemed to stretch beyond the limits of sight, and for the first time since leaving the Combat Hall, her calm expression broke completely.

“This is…” she whispered.

Max stood at the center of everyone, golden light flowing around his body like divine fire.

His Heavenly Luminance Divine Bloodline continued to shine, and beneath that light, his presence felt completely different from before. He no longer looked like a human covered in arrogance and killing intent. He looked like the master of this luminous world, a being standing inside a dimension that recognized his authority.

This was the ability of the Dimensional Sovereign Body.

Dimensional Shift.

It allowed Max to shift a portion of any dimension he had unlocked and bring it into the real world, temporarily replacing the battlefield around him with that chosen dimensional space.

It was not as simple as teleportation, nor was it merely dragging people into an illusion. He had brought a real part of a dimension into contact with reality, and everyone caught within the range had been swallowed into it before they could resist.

The demons had not entered this world willingly.

Max had pulled them in.

Thousands of demons, Karo, Munro, and even Nancy had all been shifted into this dimension of light in a single breath.

A demon with three horns suddenly roared, unable to endure the oppressive purity around him any longer, and slammed his axe into the ground with all his strength.

Boom!

The axe landed heavily, but instead of shattering the luminous ground, it only caused a ripple of golden light to spread outward. The demon’s arms shook violently from the rebound, and he staggered back with shock written across his face.

“This place is suppressing us!” another demon shouted.

“My demonic energy is slower here!”

“Damn it, break out!”

Several demons immediately released attacks toward the sky, sending black flames, dark spears, and demonic beams upward, but the moment those attacks rose into the golden radiance above, they were gradually weakened, dissolved, and swallowed by the endless light. The sight made the surrounding demons even more uneasy.

Karo looked at Max with an ugly expression.

“You had this kind of ability?”

Max smiled faintly.

“I told you,” he said calmly, “you should have hidden better.”

Karo’s face twisted.

Munro stepped forward, his heavy aura erupting around him as he stared directly at Max. “So this is your trump card?”

Max glanced at him, then looked around at the thousands of demons trapped inside the dimension of light.

“No,” Max replied with a relaxed smile. “This is only the battlefield I chose.”

Those words made the demons’ hearts tremble.

Only the battlefield.

That meant Max had not even begun using the true power of whatever inheritance he had activated.

Nancy looked at him from the side, and for the first time, she understood why Elrian had said Seraphine and Fin were already in danger.

If Max could drag thousands of demons into a dimension of light with a single ability, then what would happen when he faced the elves of the second faction who carried a downgraded version of the Heavenly Luminance Royal Bloodline?

The thought made her heart shake.

Max slowly raised his hand.

The rivers of light in the distance trembled.

The luminous mountains released a faint hum.

The endless golden sky brightened.

The demons surrounding him felt their bodies stiffen as a terrifying pressure descended upon them from all directions, and the same thought appeared in many of their minds at once.

They had not surrounded Max.

Max had gathered them into his own battlefield.

And now, there was nowhere left to run.

“Divine Light of Justice and Truth.”

Max’s voice was quiet when he muttered those words, but the moment they left his mouth, the entire Dimension of Light seemed to awaken in response.

The golden sky above the demons trembled, the rivers of light flowing between the luminous mountains began to surge violently, and the endless hills and peaks formed from condensed radiance released a low divine hum that spread across the whole dimension. Then, one after another, enormous golden constructs began appearing in the air.

They were shaped like crosses made entirely from light, and each one looked sacred, sharp, and terrifyingly pure, as if judgment itself had taken physical form. In only a few breaths, there were no longer dozens or hundreds of them.

There were hundreds of thousands of golden cross-shaped light constructs suspended across the entire sky, filling every direction above the demon army with blinding radiance.

Every single light construct released the fifth level concept of space.

That was what made them terrifying.

They did not merely shine with holy light, nor were they simple weapons of radiant energy. Each cross-shaped construct distorted the space around it, causing the air to fold, ripple, and crack under the pressure of Max’s comprehension.

The fifth level space concept wrapped around the golden light like an invisible blade, making every construct appear both near and far at the same time, as if distance itself had become meaningless under Max’s control.

Because they had been summoned inside the Dimension of Light, their power was amplified to an absurd degree, and the entire world around the demons seemed to have become a divine execution ground prepared solely for them.
