Chapter 1740: 22 Million Points - Rank 7!
Chapter 1740: 22 Million Points – Rank 7!
Across the battlefield, the slaughter continued.
Thousands of demons were erased one after another beneath the Divine Light of Justice and Truth. Some died screaming, some died trying to flee, some died while begging for mercy, and some died while still attacking in blind rage, but no matter what they did, the result did not change.
The endless cross-shaped constructs fell upon them with merciless precision, and the Dimension of Light became brighter with every demon destroyed, as if their deaths only made Max’s battlefield shine more brilliantly.
Nancy watched the scene with a pale face.
She had known Max was strong.
She had seen him kill Karo once.
But this was different.
This was the power of an inheritance technique combined with his Heavenly Luminance Divine Bloodline, his Dimensional Sovereign Body, the Dimension of Light, and his fifth level space concept. It was not merely personal combat strength. It was battlefield domination. Against a single opponent, Max was terrifying. Against an army, he was even more horrifying.
Within a short time, the thousands of demons who had surrounded them were gone.
The demonic tide disappeared.
The roars vanished.
The black flames faded.
Only fragments of dark energy and countless streams of Killing Points remained scattered across the luminous battlefield.
Max stood in the center of it all, golden light flowing around his body while the last cross-shaped constructs slowly faded from the sky. His expression was calm, but the coldness in his eyes had not disappeared. He looked toward the places where Karo and Munro had been killed, then raised his hand.
All the Killing Points left behind by the demons surged toward him like a crimson storm.
At first, they emerged like scattered crimson sparks across the luminous battlefield.
Then those sparks multiplied.
A moment later, they became countless streams of blood-red radiance, bursting from every place where a demon had died and filling the Dimension of Light with a storm of Killing Points so dense that it looked as if an entire crimson galaxy had been shattered and released into the air.
The golden world around them was dyed with red light, and the contrast between the sacred radiance of the dimension and the blood-colored Killing Points made the scene feel both beautiful and terrifying.
Nancy stood silently beside Max, her silver hair glowing beneath the mixture of golden and crimson light.
She could not help looking around in shock.
Thousands of demons had died here.
Karo had died again.
Munro had been killed as well.
All of them had become Max’s reward.
The trial-like system of the Cosmic Ascension Conference began calculating the points from every fallen demon, and in the next instant, the crimson lights surged toward Max from every direction.
They flowed into him like endless rivers, wrapping around his body before disappearing into his form, while the number beside his name began rising at a speed that would have made every participant in the Combat Hall lose their mind.
[Participant: Max]
[Previous Killing Points: 7,000,000]
[Absorbed Killing Points: 15,000,000]
[Current Killing Points: 22,000,000]
[Rank: 7]
The moment the final number stabilized, even Nancy’s breathing paused.
Twenty-two million Killing Points.
This was no longer the kind of amount ordinary participants could even imagine. Max had walked out of the Combat Hall with seven million Killing Points after crushing Karo in the tenth battle, and now, after wiping out the demon army waiting outside Starfall Haven, he had gained another fifteen million in one sweep.
The thousands of demons who had gathered to trap him, including Karo and Munro, had not become his executioners.
They had become his harvest.
Max looked at the number floating before him and smiled faintly.
“Twenty-two million.”
His voice was calm, but there was a faint trace of satisfaction in it.
Nancy turned toward him, still struggling to process what she had just witnessed. “You gained fifteen million Killing Points from this one attack.”
Max glanced at the fading crimson light around him. “They gathered themselves together for me.”
Nancy was silent for a moment.
There was nothing wrong with what he said.
Karo and Munro had truly gathered thousands of demons in one place, surrounded him outside the city gates, and believed that numbers would be enough to bury him.
But Max had dragged them all into the Dimension of Light and turned their ambush into his own execution ground. From beginning to end, they had never controlled the battlefield. They had only stepped into the place Max had chosen for their deaths.
The golden sky above them slowly calmed.
The luminous mountains stopped humming.
The rivers of light returned to their peaceful flow.
Max raised his hand slightly, and the last remaining strands of crimson Killing Points entered his body. Then the notification before him faded, leaving only the quiet brilliance of the Dimension of Light around them.
Nancy looked toward the place where Munro had been destroyed, then toward where Karo had died for the second time, and a complicated expression appeared in her eyes.
“Munro and I think Karo too should have a life left.” She said frowning.
“Let it be,” Max said calmly as the last traces of golden light around him faded and the Dimension of Light began to withdraw from reality. “I do not think they would dare to hoard points like that again or pull the same conspiracy as last time. As for eliminating them completely, I do not think they would leave Starfall Haven after seeing my true strength, and right now, I cannot be bothered with them anyway.”
He then turned to Nancy.
“Let us head toward Witch God Valley.”
Nancy nodded, and without wasting another moment, her figure turned into a beam of silver-white light as she shot toward a certain direction across the golden sands of the Eternal Hourglass.
Max followed closely behind her, his speed no slower than hers, and in only a few breaths, the area outside Starfall Haven became silent once again, leaving behind no demons, no ambush, and no trace of the army that had tried to surround him.
