Chapter 1846: Third Limit
Chapter 1846: Third Limit
Rakan’s voice dropped deeper.
"Third Limit."
His eyes blazed with ferocious battle intent.
"War Flesh Unbound."
Boom!
The entire central stage convulsed. A pillar of bronze physical force surged up from Rakan’s body and slammed into the barrier above the arena, and the transparent dome flashed over and over as though battered by a storm of invisible fists.
Rakan’s flesh, bones, blood, tendons, organs, and muscles now resonated as one, producing a complete state of war embodiment that stood far beyond the First Limit.
The difference was immediate. If the First Limit had made Rakan feel like an awakened battlefield beast, and the Second Limit had made him feel like a divine weapon, then the Third Limit made him feel like a walking calamity of war.
Every breath he drew carried pressure, every heartbeat rang out like a war drum, and every twitch of his fingers forced the surrounding air to compress.
Across the Divine Realm, countless spectators rose to their feet.
"He opened the Third Limit!"
"The strongest disciple of the War God Body has revealed the Third Limit!"
"This is Rakan Thorne’s true physical strength!"
"Max pushed him this far!"
At the Black Dragon Clan, the earlier cheers died away once more. The disciples stared at the screen in a mixture of shock and worry, for the pressure pouring off Rakan was so terrifying that some of them felt their blood tremble even through the projection.
One disciple swallowed hard. "This is still just body strength?"
Another muttered, "How can a physical body alone release that much pressure?"
A third clenched his fists and said, "Max has to bring out more now. He cannot keep fighting with only one vein, can he?"
Lady Virelia’s eyes never left Max, and the seven family heads exchanged grave looks.
The first family head spoke slowly. "The Third Limit of the War God Body. This is no longer a simple enhancement."
The second family head nodded. "His blood, his bones, and his flesh have all been released. His body has entered a complete state of war."
The third family head looked at Max on the screen. "Now we will see whether Max can still suppress him."
On the stage, Max stood opposite Rakan with the Vein of Origin rumbling steadily inside him. The pressure of the Third Limit crashed toward him like a storm. His clothes whipped violently around him, his white hair streamed backward, and the ground beneath his feet cracked, yet his body did not bend.
Rakan slowly lowered his arms. His grin had vanished, and pure seriousness had taken its place.
"Max," he said, "from this point onward, if you insist on relying on only one Divine Vein, you might genuinely get hurt."
Max studied Rakan’s transformed state with calm eyes. He could feel the difference clearly. Rakan’s body had truly ascended to another level.
The First Limit had strengthened his blood, the Second Limit had reforged his bones, and the Third Limit had unbound his flesh. With all three combined, his physical body had become several times more terrifying than before, and this was no longer anything the First Limit alone could compare to.
Max smiled faintly. "Good."
Rakan’s eyes narrowed. "Still that same answer?"
Max clenched his fists, and the Vein of Origin within him rumbled at a deeper pitch. "Yes."
For a moment, the two of them stared at each other across the fractured battlefield. Then Rakan moved.
No one saw the first step clearly. The stage shattered beneath his foot, and his body materialized before Max like a bronze thunderbolt. His fist came down carrying no flashy display of energy but rather a bodily force so horrifying that the air ahead of it compressed into a visible wall.
Max crossed both arms, and Rakan’s fist landed.
Boom!
The impact was nothing like anything that had come before. Max’s body was blasted backward, and his feet tore across the stage, ripping open two deep trenches that stretched for dozens of meters.
The barrier behind him blazed with light, and only when he stomped down with tremendous force did his body finally come to a halt. The shock of that single stomp cracked the stage beneath him into a spiderweb pattern.
The War God Palace disciples exploded into cheers.
"The Third Limit!"
"That is the Third Limit!"
"Rakan is back!"
"Even Max cannot stand his ground against that!"
At the Black Dragon Clan, the disciples grew tense all over again.
But on the stage, Max slowly lowered his arms. His sleeves hung in tatters, and red marks streaked his forearms, yet his bones remained unbroken and his body had suffered no serious injury.
Rakan saw all of it clearly, and his eyes shone even brighter.
"You blocked that?"
Max flexed his fingers once, and the red marks along his arms began to fade. "That one was heavy."
Rakan laughed sharply. "Then take more!"
He appeared again. With the Third Limit open, his speed far exceeded anything he had shown before. The stage cracked with his every movement, and each punch carried a layered force born from his blood, his bones, and his flesh releasing their power in unison.
Max met him head-on, but this time every collision forced him to adjust his stance. The Vein of Origin kept his foundation remarkably stable, yet Rakan’s Third Limit now commanded enough raw force to shake even that stability.
Boom!
Fist met fist, and Max’s arm trembled slightly. Rakan followed with an elbow, and though Max blocked it, the impact drove his shoulder downward. Rakan spun into a kick, and Max caught the leg, but the sheer force shoved him sideways across the stage.
The rhythm of the battle had shifted once again. Rakan was no longer the one being dominated. With the Second and Third Limits open, he had dragged the fight back into balance, and in terms of pure explosive physical force, he had even begun to suppress Max once more.
The participants watched with burning focus.
Damian Voss spoke quietly. "Rakan’s body has become terrifying."
Orion Starfall nodded. "All three limits at once. No wonder the War God Palace is known as the strongest force in body cultivation."
Kaiden Voidmere looked toward Max. "And yet Max is still relying on only the first vein."
Ervin’s eyes remained calm. "This is still not his full physical strength."
Revona watched in silence while her Void Origin Eyes reflected both figures as they crashed together again and again.
