Chapter 1883: Mysterious Ervin!
Chapter 1883: Mysterious Ervin!
On the stage, Ervin took another wound across his chest, and his black spear dipped slightly. Kaiden appeared far above him through a folded corridor.
"Grand Void Labyrinth, World Exile Coffin."
The entire labyrinth compressed. Six massive spatial walls formed around Ervin, closing in from above, from below, and from all four sides. Every wall contained countless folded planes leading away from the battlefield.
If they sealed completely, Ervin would suffer far worse than imprisonment. His very position would be exiled into the outer folds of Kaiden’s Pseudo Cosmic Path, and escape would be nearly impossible without breaking the labyrinth from within.
Ervin looked up, and his expression finally changed. It showed no fear and no panic. It showed complete seriousness.
"You are strong," he said.
Kaiden’s voice answered from everywhere within the labyrinth. "So are you."
Ervin closed his eyes briefly, and then the black sea behind him went utterly still. The broken gate ceased its trembling. The abyssal pressure no longer spread wildly, and instead it gathered inward, growing darker, deeper, and far more ancient.
The water of the black sea sank below the stage, yet its presence became more frightening rather than less, as though only the surface had disappeared while the true abyss awakened beneath everyone’s feet.
Ervin opened his eyes.
"I did not want to use this unless I had to."
Kaiden’s gaze sharpened. Ervin raised his spear with both hands.
"Abyssal Origin Descent."
The broken gate opened wider than it had against Selene, wider than it had against Rosaline, and wider than it had against Orion.
"Gate of the Second Depth."
Boom!
A pressure far beyond the previous gate erupted across the stage. The World Exile Coffin stopped closing, and its six spatial walls shook violently. The corridors of the Grand Void Labyrinth twisted downward while the mirrors cracked.
Even the folded paths grew heavy, as though the very concept of distance had been dragged into a deeper layer of abyssal origin.
Kaiden’s expression changed for the first time. "The Second Depth."
Ervin stepped forward, and the black spear in his hand seemed to merge with the gate at his back.
"Abyssal Origin Descent, Second Depth Spear, Sunken World."
He thrust, but the spear did not fly toward Kaiden. It struck the Grand Void Labyrinth itself. For a moment, the entire Pseudo Cosmic Path went silent, and then the silver-gray labyrinth began to sink. Corridor after corridor collapsed downward while mirror after mirror shattered.
The folded planes lost their routes and tumbled into the invisible depth opened by the Second Depth Gate.
Kaiden immediately fought to stabilize his path with both hands.
"Grand Void Labyrinth, Infinite Corridor Rotation."
The surviving corridors began spinning rapidly, working to scatter the abyssal pull across countless spatial layers. For a moment it worked, and the sinking slowed. Kaiden’s control was astonishing, and many experts could see that he was resisting Ervin’s full-strength abyss through pure spatial mastery alone.
But Ervin stepped forward again.
"Abyssal Origin Descent, Second Depth Spear, Return Of The Sunken Path."
The spear moved a second time, and now the abyssal force followed the very routes Kaiden had created. It did not assault the labyrinth from outside. It entered the corridors themselves and dragged them down from within.
Kaiden’s face paled slightly as the Grand Void Labyrinth shuddered. He raised one hand and gathered every remaining spatial fold into a single point.
"Grand Void Labyrinth, Final Corridor, Void Beyond Return."
A dark silver passage opened behind Ervin. This was no ordinary exile gate. It was the deepest corridor Kaiden could currently open, a path built to cast its target beyond the returning folds of the battlefield entirely.
If Ervin fell into it, even his Abyssal Origin Descent would need to burn enormous power just to find a way back.
The corridor opened beneath Ervin’s feet, and he sank halfway into it. The arena gasped.
Kaiden pressed both hands downward. "Go."
The Void Beyond Return swallowed Ervin’s lower body. But Ervin’s spear struck the edge of the corridor, and the broken gate behind him released a terrifying and soundless pull.
"Abyssal Origin Descent, Return To Depth."
The black sea rose up through the corridor, and the abyss invaded the Void Beyond Return itself. Kaiden’s eyes widened.
The exile corridor should have led away from the battlefield, away from the current spatial layer, and away from anything easily reached. But the abyssal origin cared nothing for ordinary direction. It treated all depth as something that could be dragged lower still.
The Void Beyond Return began sinking backward, and Ervin stepped out of it. His face was pale and blood ran from several wounds across his body, yet his eyes remained calm and deep. He had been pushed to the absolute edge.
Had he hesitated for even a single breath, Kaiden’s final corridor might have sealed him away long enough to decide the battle. But he had not hesitated, and he had spent everything.
Ervin raised his spear one final time.
"Second Depth Spear, Abyss Returns All Roads."
The spear descended, and the remains of the Grand Void Labyrinth collapsed. Silver-gray corridors shattered across the sky while the folded planes broke apart. The mirrors of space sank into darkness.
Kaiden tried to slip through one last fold, but the abyssal force traced the route and arrived before him in the same instant.
Ervin’s spear stopped at Kaiden’s throat, and the entire arena went silent.
Kaiden stood motionless with blood at the corner of his mouth, his silver-gray robes torn, and his aura flickering. His Grand Void Labyrinth had collapsed, yet his eyes stayed calm. There was no shame in them. There was only acceptance.
"You really hid that deeply," Kaiden said.
Ervin’s breathing came slightly heavy. "You forced me to."
Kaiden looked at the spear resting before his throat, and then he smiled faintly.
"Then I have no complaints."
He lowered his hands.
"I surrender."
Angelina Valerius announced the result calmly.

The Divine Realm erupted. This time, no one dared claim that Kaiden’s loss to Max had made him look weak.
Against Ervin, he had unveiled his true power in the terrifying Grand Void Labyrinth, and he had pushed the Abyssal Origin Descent so far that Ervin was forced to open the Gate of the Second Depth and fight at full strength to win.
Kaiden had lost, but he had made one of the most mysterious geniuses of the final stage reveal a deeper layer of his Pseudo Cosmic Path.
On his pillar, Max gave Kaiden a faint nod. He had always known Kaiden was strong, and now everyone else knew it too.
Ervin returned to his pillar a moment later, his aura quieter than before yet visibly drained. The black spear in his hand still carried a trace of the Second Depth’s pressure, and several top geniuses regarded him with renewed caution.
Damian Voss narrowed his eyes slightly while Revona’s Void Origin Eyes flickered. Rakan Thorne grinned with open interest.
Orion Starfall laughed weakly from his pillar. "So he had another gate after all. How unfair."
Kaiden sat down quietly as the Eternal Hourglass healed his injuries. He had lost again, but this defeat carried an entirely different meaning. Against Max, he had been countered.
Against Ervin, he had truly fought to his limit, and because of that, his strength had finally been witnessed by the entire Divine Realm.
