Chapter 1989: Another Summon to the Primordial Race!

Freya raised her brows with a cheeky smile. "Well, I’m your big sister after all. Of course I’d learn faster than you."

Her expression turned a bit more serious as she went on. "Jokes aside, I’m way more powerful than you, and my understanding of laws runs a lot deeper than yours right now. It only makes sense I’d comprehend the inheritance faster."

Max got curious hearing that and couldn’t help but ask, "What’s your cultivation realm?"

Honestly, he couldn’t sense her strength at all.

"I’ve recovered my old strength and gone past it," Freya said with a smile. "Right now, I’m at the Holy Lord Realm."

Max’s eyes went wide.

Holy Lord Realm. If he remembered right, that sat two full realms above his own. Law Manifestation Realm, Divine Lord Realm, Divine King Realm, and then Holy Lord Realm.

In that moment, Max realized just how big the gap really was between him and his sister. She was way more powerful than he’d ever imagined.

"Don’t look so shocked, Maxy," Freya said with a smile. "I’m older than you, so of course my cultivation sits higher. Don’t overthink it."

With that, she opened the door to the Inheritance Chamber and walked out. Max nodded and followed her.

The Voidwalker Ancestor was already waiting for them outside.

"Good," he said, nodding as he sensed the awakened Voidwalker Bloodline aura in both of them.

Then he added, "Max, the Primordial Race has summoned you. An envoy is waiting outside for you."

Max frowned. "Another summon?"

The Voidwalker Ancestor nodded with a sigh. "Things have taken a turn for the worse across the Divine Realm."

"The devils?" Max asked, frowning again.

The Voidwalker Ancestor nodded. "That last attack you heard about wasn’t the only one. It looks like the devils have found a way into our universe, and because of that, there’ve already been several attacks across the Divine Realm. I think another war might be about to break out between the devils and the people of this universe."

Max and Freya both turned solemn hearing that.

"Max, go ahead and report to the Primordial Race," the Voidwalker Ancestor said calmly. "I believe they’ve already planned something for the growth of all the top geniuses in the Divine Realm. Don’t waste this chance."

Max nodded solemnly. Now that he understood the devils had truly invaded their universe, he knew a war could break out at any moment. He hadn’t forgotten the scene on Orion, where the war between the devils and the Primordials had once played out. Something like that could easily happen again in the Divine Realm.

"Go on," Freya said, smiling.

Max nodded, but he hesitated over something. "About mother and father..."

"Don’t worry about them," Freya cut in. "Now that I’ve come to the Four Sacred Clans, I’m not leaving anytime soon. My team will join me here in a few days too. After that, I’ll do everything I can to free the members of the Voidwalker Clan from the seal. Once that’s done, we’ll have an army ready to move against the elves."

She sighed. "But it’ll take time. I don’t think the four clans are in any mood to break the seal on our Voidwalker Clan right now."

Max understood.

"In the meantime, I want you to push your strength up as fast as you can," Freya said solemnly. "At your current level, thinking about waging war against the elves is basically suicide. You know that, right?"

Max nodded in understanding.

Freya then stepped forward and hugged him. "Now go, Maxy. Next time you come back to the Four Sacred Clans, it’ll be time to wipe those elves off the Divine Realm."

Max hugged her back tightly.

A moment later, they let go of each other.

Max looked at Freya. "I’ll see you soon."

With that, he turned and headed toward the exit of the Voidwalker Clan.

Once Max was gone, the Voidwalker Ancestor turned to Freya, his expression calm. "Do you really intend to wage war against the elves?"

Freya nodded, her expression turning cold. "Not just wage war. I want to wipe out every single one of them from the Divine Realm."

An aura of slaughter radiated off her body in that moment.

The Voidwalker Ancestor looked at her for a long moment, then said calmly, "Well, anything’s possible when you’re a Voidwalker."

Meanwhile, Max appeared outside the gate of the Voidwalker Clan and saw a figure waiting for him. It was Sarvion, the same envoy who’d picked him up from the Black Dragon Clan.

"How should I address you?" Max asked, walking over. "Sarvion, Sir Sarvion, or something else you’d prefer?"

Sarvion smiled politely. "Just call me Sarvion."

As he said it, he tapped Max on the shoulder, and the world around Max changed. This time, Max could see they were flying through some kind of space vortex. Only a few seconds later, they arrived at the Primordial Ancestral Domain.

"That was fast," Max muttered before turning to Sarvion. "How’d you do that? Is that some cosmic path or law you’ve comprehended?"

Sarvion smiled. "No laws or cosmic paths involved. Once you’re as strong as me, you can cut through space to travel long distances. And for people carrying Primordial Race bloodline, it’s even easier."

He added, "Since you already have a Tier 4 bloodline from our race, it’s only a matter of time before you can do this too."

Max nodded lightly as they started walking. "How’s the situation in the Divine Realm? I heard another war might break out between the devils and our world."

Sarvion’s expression turned solemn. "The situation isn’t looking good. The devils have somehow found a way into our universe after all these years. If I’m not wrong, things are only going to get worse from here."

Max’s expression hardened. He thought for a moment before asking, "About the Black Dragon Clan, they’re just a third-rate force, but since they’re the first force I joined in the Divine Realm, I care about them a lot. Can the Primordial Race send some protectors to look after the Black Dragon Clan?"

Sarvion answered without looking back. "You don’t need to worry about the Black Dragon Clan. Now that you’ve become a Primordial, every force you’re connected to falls under the Primordial Race, which means they’re under our protection at all times."

Max nodded, relieved to hear that.

A moment later, Max arrived at a hall where the other top geniuses were already standing, waiting.
