The sand grew a shimmering, verdant outline on Almer Spacewill. Then this outline separated from him and fell down like he was sleeping, which allowed him to comprehend that he was seeing the past.

This continued for some time as the verdant sands floated in a mystical manner.

Suddenly, he could see the silhouette of a snake. It was tiny.

It seemed to be an extension of a bigger snake that formed on the side.

Davis could only see its head. He couldn’t make out its true appearance, as there was only an outline.

It used the tiny snake, perhaps a form of energy, to bite down on Almer Spacewill’s neck and turned to look at the mountain. Or it was better said that it was looking at the mountain and then bit down on Almer Spacewill.

After some time, he could see his own outline appear as he removed the replica from Almer Spacewill’s finger.

The verdant sands exploded and dispersed into dust as though they had come across something terrifying.

Davis’s lips twitched.
