Chapter 5336: Convincing Fairy Qiyra
Chapter 5336: Convincing Fairy Qiyra
"Fairy Glacia, your senior sister isn’t cooperating."
Davis turned around and complained.
"Let me see."
Fairy Glacia strode forward, pushing open the door and closing it behind them.
Davis and Lydia moved back and waited.
He reached out his hand and pet Lydia’s head, causing her to pout.
Davis was well aware that Lydia was sacrificing the ability to reincarnate herself using the Grand Divine Phoenix Constellation by giving away the astral essence. It was a huge sacrifice on her part, and perhaps also her way of letting them know she wouldn’t try pulling such a thing again, or she was all in with the Davis Family until death does them apart.
He was extremely satisfied, but still sad she had to make such a sacrifice for him.
"Even if this doesn’t succeed, I’ll make sure the contribution points you have are among the highest in the family."
Lydia blinked, smiling a bit but still shaking her head, "In that case, wouldn’t that still be relying on my previous life’s cultivation?"
"Indeed, but this is your life-saving method. How can it not be compensated?"
Lydia’s expression flickered, half-embarrassed, "I didn’t think Father would realize... until later."
"Silly lass," Davis patted her head again with fondness, sending a physical soul transmission, "Did you think I was too worried and busy here while forgetting to be home and taking care of your mother just because we’re losing one means of escape? I’m only an avatar. You know exactly what the main body is doing right now- with your mother Ellia."
"..." Lydia gawked, her cheeks blushing as she turned to attack him.
"Father, you’re a big pervert!"
"Hahaha."
Lydia’s hands spun in vertical circles, trying to attack him, but they couldn’t reach him as he held her head, causing him to laugh amusedly.
"Wait till I give you a little brother or little sister. Then you’ll feel more cozy and warm at home."
"You’re not stopping yet!? Ahhh~"
Lydia raged like hell, making Davis laugh boisterously.
On the other side of the chamber, Fairy Qiyra Darkstar gazed at the door while Fairy Glacia remained silent as they heard the father and daughter have fun as though Fairy Qiyra’s condition wasn’t worse at all.
"Do you not trust them? Or are you afraid he would take advantage of you?"
Fairy Glacia Frigidveil’s voice resounded in an amused tone.
Fairy Qiyra Darkstar had an expressionless, cold face. She didn’t open her mouth, turning to walk towards the window and looking out to the distant mountains again. After what seemed to be a long time, yet only a few seconds passed, she slowly said.
"You think he will not?"
"He will." Fairy Glacia Frigidveil said with a calm, melodious voice, "How can he not? He’s been eyeing us a lot and trying to unveil our emotions like a true Heart Intent cultivator. My question is- are you afraid that you’ll accept it?"
Fairy Qiyra’s gaze flickered.
"You want to die?"
Her cold voice and the killing intent behind it made the air chill, but to Fairy Glacia, what was chill?
Fairy Glacia Frigidveil smiled warmly, "I’ll refrain from speaking further since I don’t want senior sister to be agitated. However, you have to accept the treatment no matter what. Otherwise, I wouldn’t be able to face master. If you think this is a small issue, then let’s not make it deteriorate any further than it needs to be. In my eyes, two children are willing to help you to the best of their ability, and we, your fellow disciples, are out of options. Let’s not waste their efforts, shall we?"
Fairy Qiyra’s gaze remained on the distant mountains before she turned around and walked to Fairy Glacia. However, she didn’t stop in front of her and walked past her, stopping when she was about to pass her.
"Junior sister, if you still see him as a child, then I’m afraid you will be the first one to fall when that perception changes soon, when he can manhandle you with the way he’s growing so fast."
"..."
Fairy Qiyra Darkstar said in a cold voice before returning to her bed.
"Let me try to deal with the issue one last time. If it fails, then I’ll accept their treatment."
Fairy Glacia Frigidveil stood motionless, her back facing Fairy Qiyra. Only after a few seconds did she nod and walk out.
"Then, I’ll await your summons, senior sister. Until then, don’t try anything foolish."
Fairy Glacia Frigidveil left her words and exited the chamber, meeting with the two children outside.
"Ah! Father, you seriously cannot mistreat my mother, or I’ll get... really... really angry...!"
"Haha! Believe me, your mother is enjoying this far more than I am."
"Ah, you’re all perverts~"
Lydia looked like she had had enough as she turned to look away with a harrumph.
Fairy Glacia Frigidveil looked at them and still thought they were children to be arguing like this, the father teasing his daughter and the daughter fuming from embarrassment. What else was there to see? The man in front of her possessed a charm when it came to being sincere with others.
Otherwise, how could he capture the heart of a daughter who was born a stranger? Even if he had the strength, how could he convince them to follow him into the Six-Headed Hydra Upper Realm where their fates could be sealed if they made a few mistakes?
"Oh, Fairy Glacia," Davis spotted her and walked up to her, "How did it go? Did Fairy Qiyra accept the treatment?"
"She did, but she wants to try curing herself one last time."
"Ah, I just hope that doesn’t change the situation drastically, since the diagnosis could be different each time internal changes occur, which makes the treatment different or difficult by a wide margin, sometimes both."
"Should I stop her?" Fairy Glacia Frigidveil blinked.
Davis thought for a moment before shaking his head, "No need. Let Fairy Qiyra try. Otherwise, she wouldn’t be convinced."
"Alright, I’ll let you know. I’m aware you worked hard going through all those detestable memories of the dishonorable Saint, so please rest before taking on this hurdle."
"Then I will make myself comfortable."
Davis nodded and then turned to look back at Lydia, only to find that she had run away and was talking to Laphria Rinmei and Mingzhi now. He shook his head amusedly and went to the boys, chatting with Jaiyan and Karyot, who quickly asked him about milfs again in a hushed voice, making him speechless.
He was afraid that he might’ve awakened something in Karyot, so he didn’t go deep into it.
Time passed.
On the fourth day after Davis returned home, nearly half a day after Fairy Qiyra tried to cure her physique to be herself, the doors opened, and she stepped out with calm, straight steps. Her black-purple robe flowed elegantly, and her silver eyes shone with a moonlit gleam, making her appear like a transcendental goddess.
She walked so firmly that nearly everyone believed for a moment that she had cured herself, making their expressions blossom in joy.
"Pui~"
Then they watched her spit blood and wobble as though she was going to collapse, making them inwardly curse before they hurriedly pulled her back into her chamber.
"Quick, make her be seated up and join hands with Lydia as they sit together in a lotus position. Only Laphria stays. Everyone else get out. Your energies are too violent and would interfere with the treatment."
Davis quickly said in an authoritative tone, causing the others to look at Fairy Qiyra worriedly before leaving.
