Chapter 1120:- Returning Home and Future Plans
Chapter 1120: Chapter 1120:- Returning Home and Future Plans
After returning to Axel City, Aditya did not waste even a single moment.
After nearly losing his own life and watching the people closest to him suffer because of the enemy’s schemes, he felt a stronger desire for power than ever before. For the first time in a very long while, Aditya felt such a strong desire to get stronger.
He now had a clear purpose. He wanted enough strength that no one would ever again dare threaten his family, his loved ones, or the people who stood beside him.
The first thing Aditya did after returning to the city was ask Malakor Harrington to arrange a meeting with all of their allies. The meeting was scheduled to take place after sunset. With the civil war drawing closer and the recent destruction of the two cultivation sects shaking the entire Main Continent, there were many important matters that could no longer be delayed.
The second matter concerned Victor.
Originally, it had been decided that Wahid would accompany them to the Chimera Shadow Sect. However, before leaving, Aditya changed the plan and instructed his uncle to remain in Axel City instead.
He also entrusted Victor to Wahid.
By then, Victor had already lost consciousness. After suffering severe injuries and losing both of his arms along with his cultivation, he had long since fainted from blood loss and exhaustion. Aditya specifically instructed Wahid to treat Victor’s wounds and keep him alive, ensuring that he did not die from his injuries.
Aditya was not finished with Victor yet. Letting that man die this easily would be too merciful. Aditya would not allow him to die. This man still needed to suffer a lot more.
After that, Aditya discussed another important matter with Wahid, and that was the settlement of the few hundred Dragonians who had chosen to follow him.
Although their number had suddenly increased by several hundred, accommodating them was not actually a difficult problem. Axel City was one of the largest cities in the Empire, with a population numbering in the millions. Finding proper housing for a few hundred additional cultivators was well within the city’s capabilities.
After discussing several options, Aditya and Wahid ultimately decided that, for the time being, the Dragonians would stay in the same residential district as the Harrington Family soldiers. Those quarters already had enough empty buildings, training grounds, and daily facilities to comfortably support a few hundred more people.
It would also allow the Dragonians to quickly familiarise themselves with the Harrington Family’s military structure while making it easier for Aditya to monitor and command them whenever necessary.
This arrangement was only temporary.
Once the civil war ended and the situation within the Empire became stable, Aditya planned to establish a separate headquarters exclusively for the Dragonians. By then, they would no longer be just ordinary cultivators, but one of the strongest military forces under his direct command.
Once every important matter had been settled, Aditya still did not allow himself even a moment of rest.
For the past several days, he had continuously pushed both his body and mind to their absolute limits. Planning the operations against the Night Rider Sect and the Chimera Shadow Sect while personally participating in both battles had drained almost every bit of his stamina. The only reason he had managed to keep going and personally oversee every detail to ensure the operations succeeded without any major mistakes was because he had repeatedly relied on Stamina Recovery Pills.
Now that he had finally returned to Axel City, Aditya headed straight back to the mountains where he had first trained after arriving in the city.
Time was running short.
The civil war was approaching faster with every passing day, and he refused to waste even a single moment. His immediate goal was no longer revenge.
It was a strength. Aditya intended to devote the next few days entirely to cultivation, focusing on mastering the techniques and abilities that he believed would dramatically increase his offensive power before the war officially began.

Scene Change____
That same Night after sunset,
“Is this really necessary?” Aditya asked in a helpless tone as he quietly sat before a large bronze mirror, allowing several maids to carefully style his appearance.
“Very much so.” Rin giggled without the slightest hesitation. She had to admit her husband looked so handsome right now. If not for the maids, she would have kissed his cheeks a few times.
“You are now the Leader of the Anti-Emperor Faction and the future Emperor of the Celestial Dragon Empire. Tonight’s gathering is not an ordinary meeting. Every noble house will be watching you. They won’t just listen to your words. They’ll also judge your bearing, your confidence, and the image you present.” Even Aditya had to admit that Rin put a valid point forward. He couldn’t really find any counterpoints against what she said.
The maids acted as though they had not heard Aditya’s complaint. With practised hands, they continued arranging his long sapphire-blue hair. One carefully combed every strand until it flowed smoothly down his back, while another secured the upper portion into an elegant half-up style using a finely crafted silver hair ornament engraved with intricate dragon patterns. The hairstyle was simple yet regal, perfectly complementing his sharp facial features and naturally commanding presence.
“I have to agree with Rin.” Athena smiled before nodding in satisfaction.
“You look very handsome tonight.”
Aditya had also changed into an entirely different outfit.
Instead of his usual battle attire, he now wore an exquisitely tailored imperial robe woven from high-grade spirit silk. The inner robes were a deep black, while the outer robe gradually faded from pure white near the shoulders into silver-gray before transitioning into black toward the hem, creating the appearance of drifting clouds beneath a moonlit sky.
Delicate golden embroidery depicting dragons, mountains, and flowing clouds decorated the sleeves and lower edges of the robe without appearing overly extravagant. A broad black belt, reinforced with silver spirit-thread and adorned with an elegant sapphire at its center, wrapped firmly around his waist, emphasizing his tall figure.
The wide sleeves and long flowing robe gave him an elegant scholarly appearance, yet the subtle dragon embroidery and the quality of the materials unmistakably revealed his noble status. Every piece of the outfit had been carefully chosen, making him look less like a young cultivator and more like a ruler who had already ascended the Imperial Throne.
Tonight’s gathering was closer to a royal banquet than an ordinary meeting.
The leaders of the noble houses would all be present, and whether Aditya liked it or not, appearances mattered. The first impression he made tonight would shape how many of those nobles viewed the future Emperor of the Celestial Dragon Empire.
Even Aditya had to admit…
After seeing his own reflection in the mirror, he looked far more dignified than he had expected.
“Where is Freya?” Aditya asked while the maids made the final adjustments to his long, blue hair.
“She returned to her Empire.” Athena answered. “She said there were a few minor matters that required her personal attention. According to her, everything should be resolved quickly, and she plans to return by tomorrow afternoon.”
Hearing that, Aditya simply nodded.
Although Freya was known to them as the Goddess of War, she was also the ruler of an Empire.
Ever since they first met at the funeral, she had remained by their side and had not returned to her own Empire even once. She had accompanied them through one major event after another, placing her own affairs aside for the time being.
However, no matter how capable her ministers were, an Emperor could not remain absent from her empire forever.
There were always important matters that only the ruler could personally decide.
As the Emperor of the Istarin Empire, Aditya understood reality better than anyone else.
He knew exactly how many responsibilities rested on the shoulders of a nation’s ruler. Every day brought countless reports, disputes, political decisions, military matters, and administrative affairs that demanded the Emperor’s approval. Even a short absence could cause important matters to accumulate.
Thinking about it, Aditya could not help but feel fortunate.
Unlike many rulers, he had Spencer.
Spencer possessed extraordinary administrative talent and absolute loyalty, allowing him to efficiently manage the day-to-day affairs of the Istarin Empire whenever Aditya was away. Because of Spencer’s capabilities, Aditya could leave the Empire for extended periods without worrying that its administration would fall into chaos. Very few Emperors were fortunate enough to have such a capable right-hand man.
Once the maids had finished their work, Aditya slowly stood up.
Since he was still missing one leg, walking normally was impossible. Instead of awkwardly hopping on one foot, he manipulated gravity around his body, making himself almost weightless. His body gently floated a few inches above the ground as he effortlessly glided forward, giving the impression that he was walking through the air with calm elegance rather than struggling with a disability.
“There.” Rin looked at him from head to toe before smiling in satisfaction.
“You’re ready.”
Aditya glanced around the room before looking at the girls.
“You girls aren’t coming?” Athena gently shook her head.
“I don’t want to attend a banquet.”
Rin nodded in agreement before adding. “We’re planning to stay here and write letters to everyone back home.”
Hearing those words, Aditya’s expression softened slightly. His thoughts immediately drifted back to the Istarin Empire. He thought about his wives, his family, and the people who had remained behind while he travelled to the Main Continent.
Although only a little more than a week had passed since he left, it somehow felt much longer. So much had happened during those few days that it almost felt as though several months had gone by.
Between the funeral, the attack on his family, his revenge against the Night Rider Sect, the destruction of the Chimera Shadow Sect, and everything else that followed, he had barely found a moment to stop and think about the people waiting for him back home.
For the first time since arriving on the Main Continent, Aditya realised just how much he missed them.
He wondered what they were doing at that very moment. Whether they were worried about him. Whether they had already heard the news of everything that had happened.
A faint smile appeared on his face. Once the civil war was over, he silently promised himself that he would return home and spend some peaceful time with the people who mattered most to him.
