Chapter 949: Chapter 949:- The Organization and its Leader

Around 5 days ago, somewhere within Main Continent,

[Something big is going to happen in the Tunnel World. Although some of our best members are already there, I don’t have much trust in them to complete the job.]

From the shadows, a pair of red eyes opened. The man standing under the moonlight could only see his red eyes.

He was the boss.

The main Leader.

The man who ran everything from the shadows.

The one who pulled the strings and did everything.

The man bathing under the moonlight put his right palm over his heart and slightly lowered his head. "I will gladly give my life for the cause of the organisation. If I cannot finish my job, then I will take my own life, and show you my face that has failed to meet your expectations." His voice was full of respect and reverence for the man who led them to this height in life.

Unfortunately, Moros had no idea what kind of expression his boss made after hearing his words. In front of his boss, he could show his utmost respect and devotion; otherwise, he could not even stand in front of the man from the myth.

Moros genuinely believed in their cause and felt that sacrifices were necessary to reach their goal. Even if it meant taking his own life or the lives of his own family members just for the cause, he wouldn’t hesitate or even think for a second before his own hand takes lives.

[Our organisation’s biggest enemy has come to the tunnel world from the six continents. This finally gives us a chance to get revenge on that man. He has disrupted our plans many times till now.]

Right now, a team made up of our former core member, Kaoru and a scout who has the potential to become an inner member or even a core member of our organisation, named Alex Jones, is leading the search to find the dragon monarch and the other half of the Goddess of Wisdom.]

[Within a week, I want them captured and the Dragon Monarch dead.]

"Boss, I will cut that bastard’s body into thousands of pieces and feed them to the dogs. He came to the tunnel world on his own, and he won’t be returning home from this world."

[Good!] The Leader seems very satisfied with the answer that his most trusted men gave him.

"What?" Moros looked shocked, hearing this. Everything that their organisation did was done so secretly that not even their own members knew what had happened. If one member was sent on a mission, then another member wouldn’t even know that they had completed a certain mission until the annual summit.

Also, their leader was the most secret man within the organisation. Other than a few select people, including him, no one even knew who their leader was or what he looked like or what kind of strength their leader possessed. This also applied to the ultimate goal of the organisation. Only a select few knew what the true and ultimate purpose of this whole organisation was.

As for most, which include many core members, they all believe that the ultimate goal of the organisation was to become so powerful that they dominated the entire freaking world from the shadows. Everyone had their own selfish motive for joining the organisation, except for a few who knew the true cause of the organisation.

To this day, other than Aditya, no outsider even managed to find out the name of the organisation, and their leader was suddenly saying that they had a spy within their organisation. Obviously, someone who is extremely devoted to the organisation would be extremely shocked and surprised to hear that there was a spy within them.

[This is why I have arranged another core member that I trust to go with you on this mission. It’s not that I don’t trust you, it’s just that I don’t trust the spy within our organisation and the unstable factor that the Dragon Monarch was.]

[I know this is overkill to send two of our best members to kill him, but I want to overprepare rather than see you guys fail.]

A man walked out of the darkness and stood beside Moros while facing their leader.

Fox was just a nickname for the man who their Leader himself adopted. Fox always wore a mask and never showed his face to anyone. He was one of the most mysterious members of the entire organisation. Only their leader knew what kind of life and what kind of person Fox was.

[Fox, I need you to be Moros’s right-hand man throughout this entire mission and carry out his orders without any question. Is that clear?]

"Understood, father....Sorry, I mean Leader." His voice was cold. Fox saw the leader as his father and often referred to him as Father.

[Alright, you two head out.]

[Take whoever you want from the inner and outer members of the Organisation. I don’t care about the size or quantity, I want results this time.]

Scene Cut to Present

In a tent on top of a mountain that was located somewhere in the northern part of the Tunnel World.

"Go to the nearby city and buy these supplies." Wolf handed a list to one of the Inner members. The inner member nervously took the list and looked at it.

"We need these supplies within 3 hours. You have three hours to complete the mission."

"Unde.....stood!" The woman replied in a nervous tone.

The woman hurriedly left the tent while Wolf was all alone.

"Sir?" Wolf was about to sit down and meditate when someone called him outside the tent.

"What is it?"

"Sir Moros is asking for your presence. He wants to discuss their plans and make some adjustments."

Meanwhile, within a much bigger Tent, Moros was writing a letter. He was all alone in this tent.

There were many other members who came to please him or spend the night with him in hopes of rising through the ranks and establishing a better connection with one of the higher-ups of the organisation. Since for any inner member or outer member of the organisation, it was impossible to reach the leader, they could only hope to tie themselves with one of the higher-ups in hopes of getting better treatment and more resources for their cultivation.

Despite having a wife and children, he would not say no to this kind of thing, knowing that the ladies threw themselves at him. But right now he wasn’t in the mood for obvious reasons.

[You were right. The Boss knows that there is a spy within the Organisation.]

[I should have listened to what you said back then.] - Right now, Moros looked tense and worried. As for why he was so worried, no one knew. Others who met him thought that he was worried about the Mission and its failure.

But the reason was entirely different.

[This Mission will be very tough. The Boss is suspicious and closely monitoring our activities.]

Wolf then suddenly entered the tent without any warning or any kind of formality. Seeing this, Moros hurriedly folded the letter and put it inside the drawer of the table and tried to act as if he was not writing anything.

Wolf happened to see Moros put something in the drawer and became suspicious. But for now, he did not ask any questions.

"What is it, Moros?" Since both of them belonged to the same rank and had a similar level of authority, Wolf called Moros by his name despite being almost a thousand years younger.

"Our Spies saw Aditya coming out of the Trial. They are currently spending the night in Brightmor City. I estimate that tomorrow, they will exit the City and continue in the direction of the north." Despite getting Kaoru and Alex Jones and their men kicked out of the city for fighting by the dwarves, the organisation still had plenty of time to put their scouts to keep an eye on the target.

"Our previous plan of going to Brightmor City needs to be changed." Wolf nodded his agreement.

"What do you suggest?" Wolf asked without showing any emotions. However, he was very curious about the Aditya guy. He had heard of many impressive feats done by this self-claimed Dragon Monarch.

"I suggest setting a big trap for them at the Pine Zone."

"Rather than aimlessly following them, we wait for them at this zone with our forces prepared. Also, if my guess is correct, even the Goddess of Wisdom, Athena, will be heading in this direction because she wants to find her other half. So she will also cross the zone. So by placing our forces in this area, we can catch both prey in one attempt."

"I agree. Let’s do that!"

Then they discussed how they will set their forces, how their forces will be divided between three pathways through the Pine Zone.

An hour later, Wolf left the tent. But while walking out, he suspiciously looked back.
