Inside the Lin clan manor, two figures stood in front of a room: Aana and Evelyn. Earlier, Alena had provided Evelyn with one of the best rooms inside the manor.
It was located in the same building where Yohan resided with his partners, situated on the very same floor. There were hundreds of rooms inside this building, though the majority of them remained empty.
This mansion were at yohan’s disposal, afterall Alena were currently living inside the matriach manor which was another building few hundreds mentres away from this building where yohan reside.
"I am going into closed-door cultivation, so don’t bother me for a while,if anything urgent came up then you can use communication jade!" Evelyn said, looking at Aana, who was standing right next to her. Aana nodded in response; she knew her master well. Evelyn was someone who always tried to distance herself from others, preferring to spend most of her time in seclusion and close door cultivation, Evelyn knew things will be chaotic in near future after all she has taken a side,she decided to fight along side yohan discarding her duty as the warlord of the phoenix kingdom.
Now that she has choosen which side she is going to fight the imperial family will not sit still,they will use evrything at their disposal to get rid of yohan and hunt Evelyn using the combined forces of warlord.
Now she got a place Evelyn decided to begin her cultivation immediately, even refusing the lunch Alena had offered her.
A moment later, Evelyn entered the room and a barrier appeared around it, ensuring no one could enter or trespass unless she permitted it.
Aana let out a long sigh seeing her master leaving her side and she has nothing to do for a while,she tilted her head, and looked toward Yohan’s room. He wasn’t there,the bad memory surface in her head.
"He called her ’love’... he never said those words to me. I hate him!" she muttered in an annoyed tone.
After standing there for a short while, Aana left to find Alena and others.
Meanwhile, Yohan and Jasmine returned and were greeted by a couple of familiar faces. Among them, Yohan noticed Athena and Kana. He had sensed their presence long ago while he was fighting Aella and Aira.
Alena felt slightly nervous around Athena. She had known Athena was Yohan’s partner for a long time, but meeting her in person was different; she felt intimidated by Athena’s beauty and the powerful aura she carried.
Nevertheless, Athena made the same request Evelyn had: she intended to stay within the Lin clan for a while and requested a room close to Yohan. Kana asked for the same after learning her master and sister were staying there. All of them wanted the same thing: to be near Yohan.
Alena had no choice but to grant their requests, though she felt a strange sense of unease being surrounded by so many beautiful and extraordinary women—all of whom were Yohan’s partners, with the exception of Evelyn and Vanya.
"Yohan..."
Suddenly, Elsa appeared before him, followed a moment later by Vanya. Both had looks of deep concern on their faces.Jasmine and the others noticed it immediately. Athena sighed upon seeing Elsa again, remembering their meeting inside the Soul Subspace; it had not been a pleasant experience.
"What happened? Is everything alright?"Yohan asked, seeing her panic.
"It’s Snowy... I couldn’t find her!" Elsa responded. Vanya also looked at Yohan with worry.
Jasmine panicked at the news of Snowy’s disappearance. From their very first meeting, Jasmine had felt a strong bond with the child. Snowy felt it too; she was always around Jasmine, clinging to her and moving in her own peculiar way. In the recent chaos, Jasmine had almost forgotten about her.
Athena and Kana were also surprised to hear the little dragon was missing, as was Alena, who had only recently learned that Snowy was a dragon cub.
"Don’t worry, she is alright! She followed me into the Soul Subspace when I took those two with me," Yohan explained. Alena raised her brows, finally learning the whereabouts of her sister and Aira.
Everyone felt relieved knowing she was in the Soul Subspace—the safest place for her—but Elsa remained worried. Since Snowy’s birth, Elsa had never left her alone, and the same was true for Vanya.
Seeing the concern in their eyes, Yohan nodded."I understand. Moreover, I’ve already decided to take you back. I feel the same way; I don’t want to leave her on her own," Yohan said, looking at the two of them. Elsa had a conflicted expression; despite her worry for Snowy, she wanted to stay and support Yohan.
Seeing her struggle, Yohan approached her and patted her head.
"Don’t forget, you are not from this world. If you recklessly use your strength to aid me, there is no telling how the will of this world will react. You cannot carelessly use your strength outside of your realm," Yohan said, looking into Elsa’s eyes.
"But..."
"It’s alright. I don’t plan on losing to anyone," Yohan said, caressing her head. Elsa took a long sigh and nodded; she decided to leave with Vanya.
"Give me a moment," she said. She approached Jasmine and gently touched her belly, taking her by surprise.
"I will be there when the time comes. Until then, take care of yourself and look after this baby. I can already feel something extraordinary within you. Snowy likely felt the same; that is why she connected with you," Elsa said. Jasmine’s cheeks turned red and her heart thumped at Elsa’s words, but she hugged Elsa tightly.
"I can’t wait to see you again, Sister Elsa!" Jasmine whispered. Elsa was momentarily surprised but smiled, said her goodbyes, and then hugged Alena.
"I will see you again, Lady Alena," she said. Alena smiled and gently touched her cheek.
"Look after yourself," Alena replied. Vanya simply waved her hand, as she wasn’t accustomed to such sentimentalities. A moment later, Yohan took their hands and they disappeared.
Once Yohan had left with the two of them, Alena turned to the others and invited them into the manor to help them get settled.
