Athena was taken aback by the whole situation, yet Yohan was in the mood for jesting. He was not taking this seriously, as if he were completely unbothered by the gravity of it all.
He possessed something that could change the fate of this very world—a frightening weapon capable of trampling this entire realm into chaos.
"Yohan, I want you to meet my mother!" Athena took a deep breath and looked at him, a dead serious expression overtaking her face.
Yohan was caught off guard by her words. This was the first time she had ever mentioned her mother. Despite knowing each other for a while now, he knew Athena was someone who despised talking about her family. Furthermore, she was on terrible terms with her elder sister, Evelyn. The feeling was entirely mutual; Evelyn hadn’t even told her own disciples about her younger sister. Both Ana and Kana remained completely clueless when it came to their master’s family background.
"Is there a particular reason why you want me to meet your mother? Don’t tell me you’ve fallen hard for me and want me to meet her so I can ask for your hand in marriage?" Yohan chuckled. Athena immediately pinched his cheek, annoyed by him making fun of her.
"Yohan..." Athena began to speak, but Yohan gently placed a finger over her lips to silence her.
"What about Lady Evelyn? Will she be okay with me meeting your mother, for whatever reason you want me to meet her?" Yohan whispered, a sharp, serious look entering his eyes. Athena’s facial expression shifted the moment he mentioned Evelyn’s name, and Yohan could clearly sense the uneasiness flickering in her gaze.
"As long as your sister agrees to what you’re proposing, I am willing to meet your mother. I am glad you asked, but there are certain boundaries that I simply cannot cross. I don’t mind meeting your mother, but I also don’t want to offend Lady Evelyn with my actions," Yohan added, effectively refusing Athena’s proposal. After all, from the very first day, Evelyn had stood by him, helping him out of tight spots and taking a stand for him. He didn’t want to ruin that bond by tangling himself in their family drama. Moreover, for some reason, he was getting a distinctly weird vibe regarding Athena and Evelyn’s mother.
"As long as my sister agrees, huh..." A bittersweet smile appeared on Athena’s face.
"Yes, as long as Lady Evelyn agrees," Yohan reaffirmed. Athena sighed in a defeated manner, as if understanding that the arrangement Yohan proposed was never going to work out. Her sister would absolutely never agree to it.
"Well, whatever. Sooner or later, you are bound to meet her, whether you like it or not. And when that happens, even my mighty sister will be forced to stand by as a mere spectator from the sidelines," Athena said, leaning in to kiss his cheek while sporting a distinctly sadistic look.
Yohan felt goosebumps break out all over his body; Athena’s dark side always made him incredibly nervous.
"Is your mother that scary?" Yohan asked. Athena frowned and shook her head.
"Forget about my mother... what do you intend to do with her?" She pointed a finger toward Ana, who was fast asleep on his bed,Yohan turned silent but nevertheless he looked in the direction of his head where ana was sleeping.
"Well, I was originally heading out to meet Maria, but I stumbled into you,i wanted to ask her help regarding Ana’s situation," Yohan responded,at the same time he also wondered just how long Athena had been standing right outside his room.
"That woman, huh..." A different look crossed Athena’s face the moment he mentioned Maria. Yohan noticed the shift, but decided it was best not to delve any deeper into it.
"You wanted to get those pills that can suppress one’s cultivation, right?" Athena asked, accurately guessing the reason behind Yohan’s eagerness to find Maria.
"Well, yes, I need them. Otherwise, I’ll have no choice but to leave Ana in Elsa’s care," Yohan whispered. He already had a backup plan to deal with the situation, but that was strictly his last resort.
"Take this..." In the next moment, Athena retrieved a small bottle from her spatial ring and handed it to Yohan.

[Body Tempering Pill detected]
A system notification popped up in Yohan’s mind, identifying the origin of the small pills stored inside the glass container. Inside the bottle, only a handful of pills could be seen.
"Body Tempering Pills..." Yohan muttered. A surprised look flashed across Athena’s face upon hearing him name them so easily, considering these pills were incredibly rare in nature.
"I am surprised that you know about these pills."
"Well, it’s nothing. I just happened to come across them in the past," Yohan responded with a calm demeanor. Nevertheless, this was the first time he had actually seen these body-tempering pills in person.
"Ana will remain a mortal in everyone’s eyes, so worry not," Athena said, explaining the exact nature of the medicine.
Yohan heaved a massive sigh of relief upon getting his hands on them. Now that he had these pills, he wouldn’t have to worry about Elaine anymore.
"What do you want in return?" Yohan turned back to Athena. After all, she had done him a massive favor, and as long as she didn’t pester him to meet her mother, he was willing to do almost anything.
"I am glad you asked..." she purred, a deeply seductive look overtaking her features. Yohan gulped nervously at the sight, immediately understanding exactly what she wanted in return.
Nevertheless, Yohan nodded his head in response, agreeing to fulfill Athena’s desire.
"Now that she has taken over your room, we had better head to a different one," Athena whispered into Yohan’s ear, her face flushing slightly red, burning with the desire to feel him. It had been quite a while since the two of them had dual-cultivated together.
Moreover, Yohan felt a deep sense of responsibility toward her. Her normal Qi cultivation path had already been destroyed; technically, she was now entirely a dual cultivator, fully dependent on Yohan for her growth and power.
The next moment, Yohan swept her up into his arms, catching her completely by surprise.
"What are you doing?"
"We are going to your room, so we can dual-cultivate to our heart’s content!" he said with a smirk. A second later, their figures vanished from the spot.
