"So you are going to the Feng clan territory?" Athena looked at Yohan with a serious gaze.
Yohan nodded his head in response; afterall, he had already decided to leave the clan after attending the meeting with the other branch families of the Lin clan. Now that Yohan had become the patriarch of the Lin clan, it was a good time to meet the other heads of the branch families. The official invitations were already sent to those families, so Yohan was expecting their presence.
Nevertheless, Yohan didn’t have any expectations from these so-called branch families. Afterall, it had been two years since he arrived in this world, and he hadn’t seen those family lords who happened to serve the Lin clan. A big part of the Lin clan’s annual budget was allocated to those family lords, but in return, the Lin clan didn’t even get a shit of support, apart from their letters of objection about how rash young master Yohan was.
’It is going to be a pain in the ass,’ Yohan inwardly thought, thinking about the meeting with those old farts. He was also enraged knowing a couple of elders from the clan itself had raised their concerns with Alena regarding how Yohan managed things inside the Nichole clan territory. Yohan also heard that some of them even opposed Alena’s position as a matriarch.
"Is there anything you want from me?" Seeing Yohan enraged and deep in thought, Athena moved her finger on his chest. Yohan came to his senses and looked at her while letting out a deep sigh.
He started explaining the things that were happening inside the clan. Athena simply frowned while hearing Yohan’s concerns regarding the internal politics of the clan; she had been through all those messy situations that Yohan was currently in.
"I might end up killing all those bastards..." Yohan cursed all those elders who were serving the clan under his grandfather’s and father’s days. Killing them would be good, Yohan wondered.
Seeing him like that, Athena chuckled, and the next second, she kissed him on the cheek, taking Yohan by surprise.
"I can understand your concern... I also understand you are not someone who is fit for internal politics..." Athena exclaimed, knowing Yohan’s simple nature.
"It will be hard for you to weed out those old coots who have been serving this clan..."
Yohan let out a sigh hearing her; afterall, he couldn’t kill everyone. If he did that, he might end up destroying the very core of the clan, but at the same time, he didn’t feel like dealing with those old people anymore in his reign.
"I have an idea... I know how to deal with the current situation!" Athena looked at Yohan while wearing a mysterious smile on her face. Yohan raised his brows, interested in knowing what was in Athena’s head; she was looking pretty confident.
"If you have something that could help me with the current situation, then I will be in your debt!" Yohan whispered as he faced Athena and looked at her with a serious gaze. Athena simply rubbed her nose against Yohan’s nose and then began explaining the way out of his current situation. Yohan’s facial expressions started changing drastically as he listened to Athena; he was surprised to see how knowledgeable and shrewd this woman was. She was indeed ruthless—a natural leader.
According to Athena, Yohan needed to weed out every single soul who dared to oppose him. It may be extreme, like killing or kicking out those who had been serving this clan for generations, but he needed to make that call if he wanted to move forward without having any burden on his shoulders. He needed a new order for a completely new beginning. According to Athena, he was completely different from his predecessors; he was driven by a goal, unlike his father and grandfather who were simply trying to save the foundation of the Lin clan under their rule. Generation after generation, the Lin clan deteriorated and lost its footing inside the region. Their clan’s growth had been stagnant for many centuries; the Lin clan might be one of the greatest clans inside the northern region, but it lacked the very foundation.
Yohan was surprised as Athena began explaining everything related to his clan. He was indeed impressed by Athena’s knowledge regarding the Lin clan.
"As for the new order... you have your partners. All of them are strong individuals: Jasmine, the lady from the Thousand Poisons Valley; Milan, the lady from the Xeng clan; Xiao Feng, the lady from the Feng clan; Yulia, the lady from the Nichole clan... you have enough talent at your disposal when it comes to politics."
"Apart from that, you have individuals like Diya, Natasha, and Neena..." Athena added, looking at Yohan seriously. He was indeed impressed with Athena’s advice. He didn’t have to rely on those old elders; he had his women, and they were the greatest weapon that he could use to lead the clan.
"You are indeed a genius..." Yohan was all excited hearing Athena. He immediately pulled her into his embrace, tightly holding her by her waist.
"Well, it’s not a big deal... moreover, I have noticed some great talent among those women that you brought from the Nichole clan territory, especially that woman Alma and Lee Qi. Apart from those two, you can also appoint others into the clan," Athena whispered, as she had already noticed many talented individuals whom he liberated from the clutches of the Nichole clan.
"It’s better to give them positions and use them to strengthen the very core of the Lin clan..." Athena was in the middle of completing her words when Yohan moved her left thigh over his waist; the tip of his member touched the entrance of her hidden cave.
"Do it for me; I will leave the hiring process in your hands," Yohan whispered. Athena gasped hearing Yohan; she was taken aback knowing he intended to put a great responsibility on her shoulders. She wanted to refuse, but before she could do that, her mind went blank when something big and hot entered her body, taking her by surprise.
"Yohan..." She looked at him with pleading eyes.
"Just help me out this once. Leave the hard part to me; you don’t have to worry about the elders of the clan. Before leaving for the Feng clan territory, I intend to deal with them all," Yohan whispered. Athena gulped as she knew Yohan deliberately did that, not giving her a chance to refuse. At the end, she finally gasped and, with a trembling hand, she took his handsome face in her palm, moving her lips closer to his lips.
"Ok, I am going to help you out...," she exclaimed, leaning her lips against Yohan’s lips.
’Haha, I am a genius,I knew she is not going to refuse me... Now I don’t have to worry about the hard part of going through all that talent-seeking stuff anymore,’ Yohan inwardly wondered, and the next moment, he moved on top of Athena changing his position. His member was already deeply buried inside her body, and she was taking deep breaths, feeling the intense pleasure that came with the sudden thrust.
As the two of them indulged themselves in dual cultivation, a small figure inside the Lin clan manor opened her beautiful eyes and clicked her tongue in visible frustration.
"These damn treacherous women... I am going to teach them a lesson once I break this damn curse of mine!"
