Chapter 978: Hope for the future

After leaving the river shore city yohan headed in the direction of the city that alena were building for the refugees which Yohan freed from the clutches of the nichole clan,Yohan knew their clans owns a big land which stretched many miles,most of the land was technically barren and unused.

After going through the map of the Northern region where his clan situated Yohan realized that they can use these lands to build thousands of towns and hundreds of cities in near future if they utilise these lands properly.

After flying a couple of miles away from the river shore city he finally halted his movement and caught a glimpse of the place where construction of this new city was happening,he could see Hundreds of thousands of temporary tents and massive piles of wood logs scattered around everywhere.

The working forces which were deployed at this place were in huge numbers,Yohan also noticed many low level cultivators who were helping the normal workers in order to move stuffs from one place to another place,this is the first time he saw how things works inside this world,Yohan somewhat predicted that his mom has hired these Many people from the nearby cities and towns and through mercenary guilds,a big amount of wealth was involved in this kind of work and people all around the northern region will flock here to work,and thanks to the lin clan’s rapid growth in couple of months many people saw this as opportunity to get hired permanently,Yohan felt relieved Knowing things were happening beyond his imagination,he was grateful for the work that his mother put in all of this in his absence.

Apart from that most heartwarming thing he saw that those refugees were helping these workers in order to build their new homes. Seeing them putting in the effort and sweat Yohan felt pleased.

"They knows how to repay kindness,it’s good thing all of them working together to build a future here,a place they can call home!"Yohan knew how miserable these womens were living in those prison cells,all of them lost hope when he found them rotting in those slave camps and waiting to get sold as slaves by the nichole clan throughout the kingdom.

"Now all of them have different light in their eyes,which is good,i hope someday all of them forget that horrific past and lead normal life"Yohan whispered and finally his gaze landed on the peculiar tent which was situated in the middle of the construction site,unlike other tents which was built around this tents,this one was big enough to hold many people’s inside,Yohan also noticed familiar figures inside the tent,at this point snowy who were casually sitting over his shoulder instantly moved in the direction of that tent leaving his side,Yohan tried to Stop her but he couldn’t as she was so fast,He knew the reason why she hastily left his side and headed into that direction.

"Elsa... she is there with everyone,!"Yohan whispered and he about to follow snowy from behind but before he could do that the low level cultivators who were working there along with others noticed Yohan’s presence,all of them stared murmuring among themselves when they realised a figure were standing above the construction site and looking them from the sky.

Soon the entire place filled with loud cheers and chants as those people learned about the identity of the man who was in the sky above their heads,Yohan felt a weird sensation throughout his body getting the attention of that many people including those womens whom he saved.

All of them were so happy to see him.Yohan smiled bitterly but nevertheless he couldn’t do anything about that but he was grateful for getting that kind of reaction from these individuals,Yohan simply waved his hand and soon he moved into the direction where snowy went.

Meanwhile at the same time,Alena,Elsa,Vanya and Aana who were working on something inside the tent finally noticed a commotion outside of the tent which caught their attention.

Elsa’s facial expressions changed drastically when she noticed Yohan’s presence in her surroundings,Aana and vanya were the next who noticed the same,Aana was excited when she learned about Yohan whilst vanya was annoyed.

Suddenly a small figure entered the tent caught everyone’s attention and moved by Elsa’s side,the small figure belongs to snowy who jumped into Elsa’s embrace tucking Elsa’s black robe with her small hands and buried her face between her breast,alena was surprised to see this afterall snowy was so fast that her eyes couldn’t able to follow her movement.

After a moment later one more figure entered the tent caught everyone’s attention, Alena turned into a statue when she saw Yohan who entered the tent. She was both shocked and surprised to see him there.Yohan deliberately hid his presence from her in order to give her surprise.

seeing Alena’s face Yohan scratched the back of his head in a slightly embarrassing manner,"It’s good to see you mother...I am back..."Yohan whispered but before he completed his sentence Alena moved by his side and hugged him tightly,Yohan also held her in his embrace knowing she was very emotional after seeing him.

Elsa and Aana has warm smile on their faces seeing both alena and Yohan together,same goes with vanya.

Three of them were aware how worried she was for him all these days while working here.

"I missed you so much Yohan...why did you leave like that without telling me anything,How could you do that to me..."Alena exclaimed as she looked at Yohan,Yohan felt bad knowing he caused so much trouble to her and was about to explain but she stopped him.

"Forget it...I don’t want to hear your half baked excuses,all that matters is that you returned to me without any harm,I don’t want anything else!"Alena added,After a momentary silence Yohan nodded his head in response.

"I am not going to make the same mistake that I did last time, thankyou for everything,I caused you a lot of trouble with my absence,from this moment on,I’ll take care of everything!"Yohan said as he wiped the tears from Alena’s eyes and again hugged her tightly.
