Dungeon of Lust: Managing Otherworldly Beauties

Chapter 212: First Time?

Chapter 212: First Time?

’Come on! That was bullshit!’

Vale watched as Dickless Jr. threw its yellow rag in the air after Aster made an incredible one-handed catch, only for it to be called back simply because he flew for a second.

Greed laughed as the Legion marched back to where they’d thrown it from, their own 1-yard line.

"Looks like they’re gonna punt again."

Vale clicked his tongue as his eyes gazed up at the scoreboard reading 21-0, 1:49 left in the second quarter.

If the Legion was going to have any chance at a comeback, it was going to start with this drive.

Larry called a timeout, and the entire team huddled around him as he screamed at them. When the purple team imps rememerged, they had a new fire in their eyes.

’Good shit, Larry!’

Vale didn’t know what Larry had said, but the one mistake Greed made was letting Vale’s team have him as a coach.

If there was one thing Vale knew about the tiny dude, he shared Vale’s hate of losing.

"Get ’em, Legion!"

The play clock struck five, and Patty, number 77 on the purple team, snapped the ball to Mary.

Mary shoveled it to Aster on her left.

Instantly, Aster found himself trapped in the end zone with monstrous imps tearing apart the offensive line.

’No!’

Greed had said getting tackled in the end zone would result in a ’safety’ (different from the position). The defensive team would be awarded two points and possession.

If the Legion allowed such a thing, it was clear their morale would plummet.

As all 11 of the Possibles collapsed on Aster, Vale noticed something odd...

’What’s she doing?’

Mary had broken away from the pack and into open space.

Vale looked back at Aster and flinched as Tanner and Ember launched themselves at him from either side.

’What is he doing?!’

Aster threw a wobbly ball fifteen yards to Mary, who bobbled it. Then, reeled it in and began running downfield.

Instead of chasing, all of Imp-Possible was in an uproar, screaming at the three referees.

"Baaduuuh!"

"Badduh!"

"badu! badu!"

Letting Mary leisurely sit at the other end of the field, let the clock wind down all the way to zero, then step in the end zone.

Mary floated in the air while spinning, Sizzy’s signature move. Something Larry had probably orchestrated in advance.

"Baaduuuh!"

Vale was just as confused as the Possibles.

Greed smiled and said:

"Well done, Larry. He learned quite well. As long as the first one goes backward and they’re still behind the line of scrimmage, he can throw it forward."

Vale shrugged at the explanation he didn’t understand, then clapped.

***

’Seriously?!’

After halftime, Larry had come to Greed for clarifications of more rules.

Despite betting against them, Greed was happy to share and explain.

With that knowledge, Larry was able to craft trick play after trick play. Slowly bringing the game back into manageable territory.

He’d also gotten way better at reading and managing the defense. Only allowing one touchdown so far in the second half.

The score was now 28-20, Possibles still in the lead — Tanner having blocked an extra point earlier, creating the deficit.

Currently, the Legion found themselves at midfield, 7 yards to go for a first down, because apparently Patty ’false started.’

’How can it be a false start if she’s the one with the ball!’

Did the play not start on her command?!

But, thankfully, the issue wasn’t too bad because it was only the second down.

However...

’There’s only 3 minutes left in the game!’

This drive would decide the game. Mistakes like that shouldn’t happen!

With three timeouts, Larry had time to spare.

’Shit!’

The next play, Aster, one of three competent players on the team, tried to run down the sideline but only gained three yards.

’Larry, what are you doing?!’

Vale watched as Larry called Aster off and sent on number 9. The little red imp stumbled on. Vale named him...

’Hope.’

Hope, who’d been sidelined all game, lined up behind Mary.

’Larry better have a good reason for this!’

The imps lined up as the play clock wound down. Patty waited all the way until 1 to snap the ball.

Mary caught the ball in her claws, then held it out for Hope to take; however, as Hope ran in front of Mary, Mary pulled the ball back and kept it.

Hope continued to run to the side, and nearly the entire team of Possible chased after him.

’It was a misdirection!’

Bringing in a new player and making it seem nearly certain they’d be involved in the play!

Vale stood up as Mary surveyed and found the wide open imp.

’Wait... no!’

Mary lined up and launched the ball toward number 89, an imp Vale named Terrible.

’Why Terrible?!’

What was even worse was that Tanner had caught on to the ruse and managed to scrape the ball as Mary released it, causing the throw to wobble and go slightly off target.

Not to mention, Ember, a ’defensive back,’ had turned around and would reach Terrible nearly the same moment as the ball.

Vale clenched his teeth.

’Come on, come on!’

Terrible stopped in his place and stretched his claws toward the ball as Ember dove.

Vale didn’t dare to breathe as Ember and Terrible’s claws touched the ball at the same time.

’No! Shit!’

Terrible began to reel the ball in, but Ember’s claw knocked it loose, sending it flying in the air.

’Wait...’

The loose ball flew right into WR number 4, Slip’s, waiting arms. Slip took off running and juked Ember as she tried to spring at him.

He then had to hurdle Terrible, who’d fallen in his path.

Vale screamed out:

"Don’t look back, keep running!"

Swift, the safety when Possibles were on defense, hadn’t given up on the play. He chased Slip down.

Slip’s knees buckled, and he fell to the ground at around the 25-yard line of the Possibles. Swift easily tapped the fallen imp, and the play was called dead.

’Fuck! Shit! That was our chance!’

Vale clicked his tongue and sat down.

Greed smiled, then said:

"First time?"

"What? Yeah, of course."

’What other time would I have witnessed something like this? I’ve never heard of the sport before you told me?!’

Greed rolled her eyes.

"Nevermind."
