Dungeon of Lust: Managing Otherworldly Beauties

Chapter 213: Miracle in Lust

Chapter 213: Miracle in Lust

Anticipation flooded Vale’s body.

He felt he had more anxiety contained within him at this moment than he did when the chameleons attacked!

Okay, that was a bit of an exaggeration.

However, it was the truth that Vale found himself much more enamored and enthralled by the sport he was watching than anything recreational before — besides lust, of course.

It was simplistic and barbaric at first glance, but insanely fun to watch.

One didn’t need to entirely understand the rules. They simply needed to understand the thrill of watching one imp run down a field while desperately dodging 11 others who wanted to crush them. All while their own team attempted to use their bodies to block.

Sadly, Greed had made the teams wildly uneven and chosen to root for the much better Possibles. Leaving Vale to either root for the same team as Greed — which wasn’t going to happen — or for the worse one.

Vale wasn’t upset.

Legion might have been individually worse, but under Larry’s guidance, they had a chance at a major upset. Larry made the parts add up to more than the sum of their parts.

While nearly every player on the Possibles was better, they weren’t the most cohesive unit.

Marvel was smart and wasn’t a bad coach at all; however, he wasn’t loud and vocal like his artisan counterpart. His points — whatever the ’baduhs’ he said meant — were being half ignored.

If a major upset were to be realized for the Legion, it would be decided right now, on the 25-yard line.

During that entire mess of a play, the clock had lost nearly 30 seconds. Now, Larry let the 40-second play clock wind down. Bringing the game to the 2-minute warning.

The Legion surrounded Larry, who started screeching louder than he ever had before.

’What are you cooking, my number one imp?!’

Both teams took the field and lined up as Dickless Jr. spotted the ball.

’Come ooooonnnnn!’

Patty snapped the ball.

Mary caught it and shoveled it to Aster, who dropped back to the left as Mary made a break for it.

’Yes! The classic!’

However...

Unlike before, the Possibles bided their time, not rushing. Swift even picked up Mary and stuck with her.

Aster, realizing the play was screwed, decided to try his luck with a run, but was immediately stuffed before he even made it past the line of scrimmage by number 95... Tanner.

Vale cursed as the clock continued to wind down, and Dickless Jr. respotted the ball.

Legion wasted no time snapping the ball.

Mary received it, then handed it straight off to Aster, who began running into the pile. But right before he crossed the line, Aster spun around and tossed it back to Mary, who’d fallen back in the pocket.

Vale cheered internally:

’The flea flicker!’

The trick play that had gotten them their second touchdown.

Mary wasted no time rifling the ball to Slip, who snagged it and began to run. He got only a few steps before Ember was in front of him.

’What is he doing?!’

Slip spun and jumped back, then started running to the side.

Ember, confused by the move of running the wrong direction, slipped and fell on her face.

Slip slipped past and made it all the way to the 16-yard line before he did his classic and fell without a single person touching him.

Vale sighed as Ignis, another DB of the Possibles, touched the fallen Slip.

’Damn!’

It was third down with a yard for the first.

Vale looked over at Greed and chided her.

"Nervous?"

Greed laughed as all the black chains and jewels on her jangled.

"Do you not see yourself?"

The next play unfolded.

’Thank the gods!’

Aster ran up the middle and cleanly got the first down; however, Larry needed to call a timeout to strategize, right after the clock dipped under a minute.

The imps took the field again, and Vale noticed something odd...

’Hope and Aster?’

On at the same time?

Plus, Aster was lined up behind Patty.

’Where’s Mary?!’

Before Vale could even process what was happening, the ball was snapped, and Aster acted like he was going to throw it, only to run and pick up a few yards.

Vale clicked his tongue.

’Trick plays are cool and all...’

But if you set a precedent of doing them, they’re going to be expected!

With that, the first down was virtually wasted.

Mary subbed back on for number 19, the WR Shit.

’Why’d Larry take Shit out instead of Hope?’

Before he could question the decision, the ball was snapped once again. This time, Mary kept it and threw it to Aster on the sideline, who snagged it and picked up a few yards before shoved out of bounds by Ember.

30 seconds remained on the clock. 5 yards for the first down.

’No! You dumbasses!’

Patty snapped the ball too low, causing Mary to have to fall on it before the play could even start, losing 4 yards by the time Swift blitzed and got her.

’Fourth down...’

The clock ticked down under twenty, and Patty snapped it back to...

’Aster, again?’

Why was Mary lined up as a WR?!

Aster received the snap and ran out of the pocket to his right, looking only at Mary, who swerved into double coverage.

Aster’s eyes drew left only to see Slip had fallen. His eyes looked to the sideline only to see number 10, Alright, locked down.

With his options all cut, Aster tucked the ball and began to run. The defense read it and began to collapse. That’s when the sneaky imp let out a crushing smile and spun straight left, looking to the far end of the field...

’Hope...’

The small imp who’d fallen under the radar.

Aster threw the ball cross to Hope, who jumped and received it.

The path for the first 5 yards was open, securing the first down.

But a first down didn’t matter at this point.

The play took so long to develop that there wasn’t even enough time to slide and call a timeout.

Noticing this, Hope trucked on, Swift the first one upon him.

Hope, with a nimble spin, sent Swift tumbling by him.

’Hope!’

Then, Hope outsped Tanner, who was closing in.

Unfortunately... Ember and Ignis caught up right before Hope could cross the goal line.

As Ember gripped Hope’s ankle and yanked the little imp down, Hope spun around and threw the ball in the air.

Swift, who’d recovered, raced with Slip toward the ball.

Terrible came out of nowhere and blocked Swift, allowing Slip to catch the lateral, then dive forward into the endzone.

Vale jumped out of his seat and cheered.

"Yes! Hell yeah!"

Then he heard Greed’s laughter. Curiously, Vale looked over at Greed only to follow her gaze toward a yellow cloth, back where Hope had caught it.
