Earth's Greatest Magus

Chapter 3059: Completion

Chapter 3059: Completion

Three full days into the process, the clone finally began to take proper shape.

The mass of flesh and essence within the cauldron gradually stabilized, its form becoming clearer with every passing hour. Emery remained focused throughout, continuously channeling his Dao of Heaven and Earth to maintain the delicate balance between the countless energies involved.

A slight imbalance at this stage could undo days of work.

Slowly, an unmistakably familiar figure emerged.

The features, physique, and even the underlying aura were nearly identical to his own.

The clone was finally taking form.

But the process was not yet complete.

One crucial step remained.

Emery turned toward his dark avatar, who had been standing nearby the entire time.

Unlike Emery’s own solemn expression, the avatar appeared almost excited. There was even a grin on his face, as though he had been waiting for this moment from the very beginning.

Emery nodded.

"Go."

What followed was the most critical stage of the entire process.

The synchronization of body and soul.

The avatar immediately stepped forward and entered the formation.

This phase demanded absolute precision. The formation, the clone body, and the avatar’s soul all had to be aligned perfectly. Any mistake could damage the clone’s foundation or cause the synchronization to fail altogether.

At this point, the challenge was no longer Emery’s.

It belonged mostly to the avatar.

The process would test the avatar’s will, mental fortitude, and spiritual stability directly.

Hours passed.

The newly formed body remained motionless within the formation as vast amounts of spirit energy began converging around it. Streams of energy poured inward from every direction, gathering within the clone’s chest.

Gradually, a Soul Core began to form.

A tiny point of spiritual light appeared first.

Then it expanded, growing denser and more stable as the synchronization continued. Eventually, it settled into place at the center of the clone’s body, linking flesh and soul together.

This was what made the True Clone fundamentally different.

Creating a powerful clone that could approach Emery’s own strength was one thing. Giving that clone an independent Soul Core was something else entirely.

The Soul Core was what allowed the clone to sustain itself. It could continuously regenerate its own power instead of relying entirely on Emery, preventing the body from gradually deteriorating or disintegrating over time. As long as Emery was willing to invest sufficient resources, the clone could even continue cultivating independently.

It truly lived up to its name.

Undying True Clone Body.

The entire process had also tested Emery’s comprehension of the Law of Nature. As the scripture had suggested, his growing understanding of the Path of Undying had played an equally important role in creating the clone.

Every part of the process—from the materials and formation to the synchronization of body and soul—ultimately determined the quality of the final creation.

And soon, something changed.

Both Emery and his avatar felt it at almost the same moment.

The scripture had specifically warned him about what came next.

The quality of the clone determined the severity of the final trial.

Ordinary clones would pass unnoticed.

A clone of this quality, however, was something else entirely.

Creating such a body was closer to forging a Tier 8 pill. It was an existence that fundamentally challenged the natural order.

A true clone was not merely a duplicate.

It was another self.

And Heaven rarely tolerated such things without protest.

Which was exactly why Emery had insisted on conducting the ritual beneath an open sky.

The first signs appeared almost immediately.

The clear heavens above began to darken.

Clouds gathered at a frightening speed, spiraling toward the center of the formation from every direction. Their color deepened from gray to black before eventually turning a deep, ominous violet.

The air itself seemed to tremble.

Pressure descended across the entire region.

Vast violet clouds churned overhead, spreading across the horizon like an approaching sea of destruction.

The first bolt of lightning struck the newly formed clone dead center.

BOOM!

The entire formation shook under the impact.

His dark avatar, still not fully integrated with the newly created body, let out a roar of pain as the lightning tore through him. For a moment, it felt as though the tribulation itself was trying to rip his soul back out of the flesh he had only just begun to claim.

If that happened, the entire synchronization would collapse, and the clone would be destroyed along with it.

Emery watched with genuine anxiety.

His avatar, however, reacted very differently.

Despite the blood trickling from the corner of his mouth, he actually grinned. He raised his head toward the churning violet clouds and shouted,

"Hahaha... Is that all you’ve got?!"

Another bolt descended.

Then another.

Each strike battered the clone’s body, forcing the avatar to endure the tremendous pressure while maintaining control over the integration.

Emery understood the danger, but he also understood what the avatar was doing.

Every bolt that the avatar successfully endured was not merely punishment.

It was tempering the clone’s body.

The heavenly lightning was burning away impurities and strengthening the newly formed physique with every strike, pushing the clone’s foundation even further.

BOOM!

The third strike.

BOOM!

The fourth.

The avatar continued to endure, refusing to yield even as his body was repeatedly battered by the heavenly lightning.

By the seventh strike, the violet storm finally began to weaken.

The enormous clouds slowly dispersed, the violent pressure fading with them until the sky gradually returned to its normal state.

The tribulation was over.

Integration complete.

Inside the newly formed body, the Soul Core finally settled into perfect harmony.

A wave of spirit energy rippled outward from its center, spreading through every part of the clone’s body. The charred skin and burns left behind by the heavenly lightning slowly faded, replaced by smooth, intact flesh.

The process was complete.

Emery finally stood before his newly created True Clone.

It was a perfect, living reflection of his dark avatar, carrying the same appearance, aura, and spiritual presence.
