Chapter 1722 1722: Only he has a reason to fight (Part 2)

Although only a small fraction of the monsters in the Hollow Lands had ever seen Zin fight even once, they all feared him.

Many didn't know what he was physically capable of, let alone his abilities, but the collective fear was so deeply ingrained in their minds that they never dared to test it.

Batar was different. He was ready to face even Zin if it was necessary to achieve his goal. He was that kind of person.

He had spent long years training and honing his skills. He had repeated the same punch hundreds of thousands of times.

If he couldn't use that power when it was needed, then what was the point?

However, the fact that he was ready to fight Zin didn't mean he could win.

TREMBLE!

A shockwave rippled out as their fists collided. A tremor ran through Zin's body, which was nowhere near as muscular and broad as Batar's.

Still, he didn't take a single step back, remaining in his spot. The full impact was absorbed by the ground beneath him.

In shock, Batar stared at Zin. His green eyes darted to the side, watching Zin's left hand slowly rise.

"Wait…" Batar muttered to himself. "Where's his apple? He always carries that thing with him! Where did it go?"

But real emotion flashed across Batar's face when Zin curled his fingers. Batar knew what was coming next.

"This is my first strike." Zin thrust his hand forward, stopping just in front of Batar's chest.

Click!

The moment he snapped his fingers, a void appeared between him and Batar, which quickly began to fill with streams of air. Unlike last time at the Pit, before Es'aha, the sounds didn't fade away.

Under the force of the pressure, all the energy from the void crashed directly onto Batar, who was Zin's target.

Crack! Crack! Crack!

A dozen cuts opened on Batar's chest as blood gushed out.

He was lucky. His arm was practically unharmed since it wasn't Zin's target.

Without hesitation, Zin shifted his stance as he raised his right leg upward.

Before Batar's feet could touch the ground, Zin's frame trembled.

Like a spear slicing through the wind, Zin's foot plunged deep into Batar's abdomen, folding the mighty man in half as if all the defenses he prided himself on meant nothing against Zin's attacks.

"GHA!!!"

Spurting a stream of blood, Batar flew past Kelya and Narha.

Their eyes were wide with shock. Each of them had seen Zin fight at least once, but none of them had ever fought against him.

However, neither Kelya nor Narha was a weak monster.

"Damn it, Zin! You chose to be my opponent! Don't dare complain later that I was too rough with you!"

Kelya and Narha exchanged glances. A single look was enough for them to nod.

A few minutes ago, they were fighting each other, but now they had a common enemy. They couldn't waste time on each other when Zin stood before them.

Narha leaned forward, a gleam flashing across her white katana. "Only after we deal with him can we continue! We have no other choice!"

In a heartbeat, their silhouettes darted forward in a blur, as they found themselves on either side of Zin.

His amethyst eyes watched them intently, seeing their every move. No, there was something more to it. He didn't just see them. He heard what they were doing, every breath they took, every beat of their hearts, was clear to him.

"Now!" Kelya exclaimed as they both brought their feet down on him.

Instead of dodging, Zin once again chose to block the blow. He raised his arms above him, blocking their feet with his wrists.

Tremble. Tremble. Tremble.

A violent tremor rippled across the ground from the combined force of their strike, as blue lightning and darkness worked together to defeat the terrifying monster before them.

'I can't even imagine what this bastard is capable of,' Kelya thought to herself, her gaze trembling just like her heart. 'But we have to defeat him right here, right now! We have no other choice but to do this!'

Narha agreed with her completely, and in the next moment, they shifted their positions and attacked once more.

Clash! Clash! Clash!

With each clash, Zin blocked their attacks while remaining in one spot. It didn't matter where Narha and Kelya aimed. They attacked his legs, chest, sides, neck, and head. He found ways to block or dodge their attacks.

"SHIT!" Kelya exclaimed as she jumped back after another hit.

After more than a dozen direct attacks from the two strongest unranked monsters, Zin hadn't sustained a single wound and hadn't taken a single step to the side.

He wasn't so much stronger than they that he didn't feel their attacks. His hands trembled slightly from the recoil, his feet sank into the ground, and his posture was no longer as stable as before.

However, because he had parried their attacks with such mastery, the two of them were already nearly exhausted, while he had expended only a fraction of his strength.

This wasn't a battle between monsters of different levels in terms of power. It was a battle between a novice and a professional in terms of mastery.

At that moment, Kelya and Narha realized one simple thing:

'He's simply better than us.'

They thought it simultaneously as those words echoed with pain in their hearts.

"You know…" Zin sighed deeply. "I don't know how strong this Adam Vinter is. But if he can defeat the two of you, then I'm sure I made the right decision to fight in this Grim Court. You're both excellent fighters."

Kelya waved her hand as she wanted to say something.

But when Zin stepped forward, her face froze.

Whoooooosh!

With the tremor of the wind, Zin appeared right in front of Narha, who hadn't had time to react to his dash.

"Good job," Zin said sincerely as his hands moved.

CLAP!

His palms came together with a sharp clap, right in front of Narha's nose.

At the same moment, her eyes widened, and a stream of blood gushed from her ears.
