Endless Leveling Done Right!

Chapter 706: First Celebration

Chapter 706: First Celebration

After several more battles, the main highlight of the day had finally arrived.

The battle of the Fourth Years.

The one leading Frieden Academy was none other than Aeris, and her team’s first opponent was the team from Faelarun Academy.

“It is my honor to fight you today, Your Highness,” the elf leading the Faelarun team said with a smile. “However, I have no intention of pulling my punches.”

“That’s what I like to hear, Dylan,” Aeris replied. “May fortune favor the bold.”

“May fortune favor the bold.” Dylan nodded before he and his team took a fighting stance.

The referee glanced at each team to check if both sides were ready before giving them the signal to start.

“Battle Start!”

As soon as the last syllable sounded, Aeris unleashed a barrage of magical arrows that was nearly impossible to imitate.

She was one of the heroines of ELO, and one of her signature moves was Rapid Burst.

This skill created six magical arms that pulled the bow before firing magical arrows in rapid succession.

This made sure that for every one arrow, another arrow would be fired half a second later!

The audience, especially the elves, cheered. They adored and respected their princess, so regardless of who won this battle, they would still consider it an elven victory!

Dylan and his team fought well. Yet, they were hopelessly outclassed.

Aeris was a true powerhouse. Very few people her age had the strength and skills to win against her in a solo or team battle.

The battle only lasted for five minutes, with Aeris’ team not suffering a single casualty.

A loud cheer erupted as the elven princess raised her hand to wave at the crowd, who were all applauding and cheering her with a battle well done.

Before the day was over, the results of the fighting tournament had been posted.

The victors of the First Years were Frieden Academy.

In the Second Year division, the winner was Solara Academy.

As for the Third Years, it was Faelarun. Then, for the Fourth Years, it was once again Frieden Academy.

The elves were happy with this outcome, for they were “tied” with Frieden Academy. Since they considered their princess’s team as part of their people, her win was their win as well.

“Thank you, everyone, for coming to watch today’s activities!” the MC of the tournament said with a smile. “Tomorrow, we shall enjoy an exciting Alchemy Battle between the academies. I hope to see all of you again tomorrow to support our future alchemists!”

After saying those final words, the students of the academy followed their professors as they returned to their inn.

Since they were the overall victors of the fighting tournament, a celebration would definitely take place.

The stars of the day were none other than Prince Edward and Aeris. They sat at the table of honor alongside Professor Rowan, who was all smiles at the results of the tournament.

“Everyone, thank you all for coming,” Professor Rowan said before he picked up the goblet of fruit juice in front of him. “This is just the first day of the tournament, but let me say this. Cheers to all of us!”

“””Cheers!”””

The students happily drank their fruit juice because they weren’t served any wine. Although they could legally drink it, the tournament required them to be sober.

And with that, they could only settle for fruit juice. For now.

Alex’s table was particularly rowdy.

All of his club members, including Princess Xenia, Mary, and Eleanora, had joined them for this event.

Latifa’s Alters were not around since they thought they were not needed there. With that excuse, they remained inside Latifa’s room and waited for their Mistress to return.

“If you worked a little harder, then you might have been the one representing the academy in the Alchemy Tournament tomorrow, Chuck,” Alex said with a smile.

“No. I’m not interested in that kind of thing,” Chuck replied. “I prefer to be more lowkey.”

“Lowkey?” Alex glanced at Eleanora, who was seated opposite Chuck, right next to her Mistress, Evangeline.

“What are you looking at?” Eleanora glared at Alex.

“Nothing.” Alex smirked.

Since he didn’t want to cause a scene, he didn’t pursue the matter any longer.

He had his suspicions, but after seeing Chuck and Eleanora in the inn where he and Lavinia had spent the night together, he finally confirmed that his roommate had finally decided to take a leap of faith.

‘Well, one of my lovers is also a vampire, so I can’t really say anything,’ Alex thought. ‘I wonder how Chuck managed to convince Princess Xenia and Mary?’

While he was entertaining this thought inside his head, Lapiz was sneaking glances in his direction while feeding Dim Dim some fish and chips.

She must have thought she was being subtle about it, but Alex’s girlfriends had easily noticed her gaze.

Still, they didn’t say anything. They didn’t want her to suddenly feel conscious and embarrassed.

“By the way, I heard Lady Celestria is arriving tomorrow,” Alex said to Renard. “Have you heard about it?”

“Yes,” Renard replied. “She sent me a letter saying that she will arrive a day after the fighting tournament ends.”

Although Renard tried to hide it, there was a gentleness in his gaze. Something he rarely showed.

Alex smirked because Renard’s spring seemed to be starting.

He then shifted his attention towards Nessia, who was spoon-feeding Charles some food.

The two lovebirds were being lovey-dovey as always, not giving a hoot that people were around them.

Perhaps this was their way of saying, “This man/girl is already taken, so back off.”

Neither bothered to hide their relationship from their classmates and the other students.

Then again, since they were both commoners, no one really minded the two of them being together.

Finally, Alex sensed a gaze directed at him. He turned to look not at his own table, but at the table right next to theirs.

Aeris was looking at him, which made Alex wonder if she needed to ask him something.

However, perhaps knowing that what she needed to ask was meant to be private, Alex only gave her a brief nod before finishing the food on his plate.

The party lasted only until nine in the evening because everyone needed to sleep early for tomorrow’s tournament.

This was especially true for those in the alchemy division, who had been chosen due to their exceptional concocting abilities.

When Alex returned to his room, he thought he could finally take a proper rest.

Unfortunately, two ladies didn’t seem to think the same way as him.

Evangeline, who had declared her plans to suck him dry earlier, decided to visit an hour later, while Lotte simply crossed the wall from Latifa’s room.

It seems that both girls had an agreement to meet at this time.

Alex didn’t know why Lotte suddenly developed a liking for his blood, or perhaps the scent of it. Though, since this was a rare opportunity to become close with her, he didn’t turn her away.

When Evangeline finished with her feeding, she didn’t close the wound, instead leaving it to Lotte’s capable hands.

With that, the fox lady kissed and licked the wound on Alex’s neck, making him feel ticklish.

He thought that when Lotte finally had her fill, things were going to end. This was merely wishful thinking on his part.

While the Alter gently licked his neck, Evangeline started licking something else.

Two hours later, Alex collapsed on the bed, feeling exhausted. Yet, he was happy after being sucked by the two ladies, who left the room with satisfied smiles on their faces.
