Chapter 722: Dim Dim’s Two Helpers

Alex watched with great amusement as the little bun took its shopping seriously.

Earlier, it was only planning to buy a hat and a bow tie. But now, it was browsing tuxedos that men usually wore for parties.

“Do you plan on wearing a tuxedo, Dim Dim?” Alex asked as he sat on the bed beside the little bun.

“Dim Dim.”

“Since it is a special occasion and Eiko is coming, you want to look presentable?”

“Dim!”

“You two are pretty close, huh?”

“Ehehe~”

The little bun lightly scratched its head, as if feeling shy and embarrassed.

It then resumed its browsing, but a few minutes later, it had its arms crossed over its chest as if it was making the most important decision in its life.

Alex found this quite amusing, so he decided to wait and see how this would turn out. He just couldn’t imagine how a little bun would wear a tuxedo.

A few minutes later, Dim Dim had come to a conclusion.

It couldn’t make a decision at all!

However, it was not out of options.

The little bun took something out from its dimensional storage, which made Alex almost choke on his own saliva.

What Dim Dim took out was a cellphone.

It then scrolled over its contact list and chose the name Lovely Lily.

As the phone rang, Dim Dim changed the voice setting to speaker mode.

A moment later, a lively voice spoke from the other side of the line.

“Hello, Dim Dim~ Did you miss me?”

“Dim Dim!”

“Oh, you did? That’s great. I missed you too! Cupid is also here with me, do you want to talk to him?”

“Dim!”

“Cupid, Dim Dim said that it wants to talk to you,” Lily said.

“I’m here, Dim Dim! Is there something you need? Did someone bully you? Just tell me who they are and I’ll make sure to shoot arrows on their butt!”

Alex wanted to laugh, but he remembered something.

The voices of Lily and Cupid were very familiar. In fact, the moment he heard Lily’s voice, he remembered the little girl wearing a red-riding hood costume that smacked him with a bat, knocking him unconscious.

Dim Dim told Cupid that no one was bullying him. In fact, it said that it was getting along with everyone and had made many friends.

It then began to explain its reason for calling, which made Lily and Cupid say “Awwww! You’re so cute, Dim Dim!”

Lily and Cupid were Dim Dim’s first friends in the Celestial Realm. The three of them were also called the Troublemaker Trio when the three of them were still active in the Temple of Ten Thousand Gods.

Of course, Dim Dim was not really a troublemaker.

The little bun was simply dragged along by Lily and Cupid, who took good care of the newly born Dim Sum God at that time.

“No need to say anything else. We’ll be right there, Dim Dim!” Lily said before cutting the call.

Half a minute later, the window that led to Alex’s room opened, and soon, two rays of light passed through, landing on top of the bed.

“We’re here!” Lily declared.

“Ahem!” Cupid placed his hands on his waist, looking proud.

“Ahem!” Dim Dim imitated Cupid and did the same, making Lily laugh.

It was then when they noticed that Alex was also inside the room, which made the two Gods flinch.

“O-Oh, it’s Big Brother!” Lily managed to recover her composure right away and greeted Alex. “Hello. How are you doing? Are you enjoying your life here in Arcana?”

“If you have any complaints, then come and say it.” Cupid crossed his arms over his chest. “I’ll shoot you to a different world if you are not satisfied with this world!”

Alex had to admit that the grudge he felt towards the two, who had kidnapped him and placed him inside a cannon, had long simmered down.

In fact, he was even thankful to them for sending him to Arcana because it allowed him to live a life that was not possible back on Earth.

“I’m very thankful for the two of you sending me here in Arcana,” Alex said calmly. “It was the best thing that happened in my life, so I want to say thank you.”

“You’re welcome!” Lily smiled sweetly, looking very relieved that Alex no longer held any grudge towards them.

“We did you a favor, so it’s perfectly fine for you to be thankful,” Cupid replied casually. “Do you know? Only two people have been sent to another world using the SIMP Cannon. Compared to that first beta tester, you actually got the better end of the deal.”

The corner of Alex’s lips twitched when he heard the name SIMP Cannon. He had many complaints he kept to himself, and one of them was him not being a SIMP. However, seeing that Cupid might shoot his bum with arrows, he decided to be the bigger man and not make matters more complicated.

“Dim Dim!” Dim Dim finally made its presence known, reminding its two friends why they were there.

“Sorry. Of course we didn’t forget you, Dim Dim,” Lily smiled and picked up the little bun, kissing its cheek. “You asked us to help you find something good to wear for the party, right? Leave it to us. We are experts in this stuff.”

“That’s right!” Cupid nodded before whispering in Lily’s ear. “After we help Dim Dim dress up, you go find Eiko and help her dress up as well.”

“Are you a genius?!” Lily looked at Cupid with sparkling eyes. “That would be awesome!”

“I know.” Cupid casually flipped his hair. “I’m a God of Love, after all.”

It was then when Alex finally realized what was happening.

The two Gods had a misunderstanding! Dim Dim had told him that Eiko was its best friend.

Yet, Lily and Cupid were acting like Dim Dim was going to a prom date with a girl!

Well, they weren’t exactly wrong, but he had a feeling that if the two Gods were to really go all out, the little bun might regret its decision in asking its friends for help.
