Endless Leveling Done Right!

Chapter 798: The Clash Of Two Worlds [Part 3]

Chapter 798: The Clash Of Two Worlds [Part 3]

Countless explosions thundered across the heavens as the fighters from Arcana and Reverse Arcana exchanged blows with each other.

On one side of the battlefield, Latifa and Nessia were facing off against Reverse Latifa.

Reverse Latifa showed unperturbed calmness in front of her two opponents, who unleashed one spell after another non-stop.

Every time their attacks approached her, she would smoothly dodge and disperse most of them with her own spells. Not once did she retaliate.

“Both of you are smart enough to know that you stand no chance of winning against me,” Reverse Latifa said. “So why don’t the two of you just sit by the side and watch the battle between our Kings instead? After all, their battle is the true deciding factor of this war.”

Reverse Latifa initially thought of playing with her counterpart for a bit. Though since Nessia had decided to team up with her, the original plan had to be scrapped.

Reverse Alex had sent her a telepathic message that if Nessia were to receive even a single scratch, she would be punished for it.

That being so, Reverse Latifa had no choice but to engage in a defensive battle. One mistake, although reasonable, could lead her to the point of no return.

She didn’t understand why her beloved suddenly had a change of heart, even going as far as to warn her not to hurt the Nessia of this world, the counterpart of his personal plaything back in their original world.

Then again, he had recently delayed their invasion by four hours, prioritizing “playing with Nessia” in her room.

Everyone was even taken by surprise when they found out.

They thought that once Vaan had completed his mission, their invasion would begin right away.

Of course, Reverse Latifa wasn’t the only one surprised by this development. Everyone within Reverse Alex’s inner circle was just as shocked.

However, none of them said anything.

His words were law. All they needed to do was follow it.

Unfortunately, the two ladies were more worried about their own lovers.

Latifa was worried that Alex wouldn’t be able to win against Reverse Alex, while Nessia was worried about Charles.

Eager to relieve their worries, their motivation to defeat their opponent right away shot up. The sooner they finished, the sooner they could assist their loved ones in battle.

“Latifa, buy me some time,” Nessia said.

“How much time?” Latifa asked.

“Two minutes,” Nessia replied.

“You got it.” Latifa narrowed her eyes as she unleashed her full power.

Her four tails swayed faintly as she flew toward Reverse Latifa with determination.

“It seems that you really need to be taught a lesson.” Reverse Latifa sighed. “I guess I’ll do this for your own good.”

She didn’t make any effort to stand aside, simply waiting for her counterpart to come within striking range.

Since long-distance spells weren’t working, Latifa decided to move closer and switch to hand-to-hand combat.

Soon, the two clashed, with Latifa unleashing a barrage of punches and kicks that were almost a blur.

Using Lotte and Lumi’s specialties, Latifa buffed herself with physical enhancements, unleashing deadly blows that could decimate boulders.

But just who was Reverse Latifa?

She was a stronger version of Latifa, so these attacks were something that she defended without fail.

Though, just as things looked like it was going to be a stalemate, Latifa activated Lulu’s power, Reality Break.

This power allowed Latifa to manifest anything that she could think of.

And what did she make manifest?

A kick that bypassed Reverse Latifa’s defenses, hitting her chest and sending her flying.

However, just as she thought that she had succeeded, Reverse Latifa’s body exploded into mist all of a sudden and dispersed into nothingness.

It was then that she heard someone whispering in her ear.

“Silly girl. Do you really think I would allow you to hit me?”

Latifa immediately threw a backhand blow at Reverse Latifa, who had appeared right behind her.

It was very obvious that the one she had managed to hit earlier was simply a clone left behind by her tricky opponent.

Reverse Latifa chuckled as she reappeared a few meters away from her counterpart.

Undeterred by her provocation, Latifa once again engaged her in combat. However, it didn’t take long for her to realize something.

Her opponent moved faster.

No matter what she did, she simply couldn’t catch up to her speed.

“Oh, believe me. I am not moving faster,” Reverse Latifa said as if reading her thoughts. “You just became slower.”

At that moment, Latifa finally understood what was happening. She glanced at one of Reverse Latifa’s tails, which had a necklace tied onto it.

“Lala,” Latifa said through gritted teeth.

“Bingo,” Reverse Latifa replied with a smile.

If Lotte’s specialty was buffs, then Lala’s specialty was debuffs.

Although Latifa didn’t like Reverse Lulu and Reverse Lala, she still couldn’t help but feel angry. From what she could tell, Reverse Lala must’ve been either incapacitated or had ceased to exist.

She wanted to believe that it was the former, but she didn’t have time to think about that right now.

After all, Latifa needed to buy time for Nessia to finish whatever she was doing. With that, she gritted her teeth and used offensive spells against her opponent once again.

“How typical.” Reverse Latifa shook her head as she countered Latifa’s spells.

In fact, her own spells were far superior and far more numerous than the spells Latifa was unleashing right now.

Because of this, Latifa was forced to go on the defensive, using a barrier to protect herself from this magical onslaught.

Suddenly, Latifa heard a telepathic message from Nessia.

“Dive down now!”

Since they were fighting in the sky, Latifa allowed herself to fall down without resistance.

At that exact moment, a single ray of light flew past the place where she hovered earlier and broke past the magical spells that Reverse Latifa had unleashed.

The attack was so fast and so sudden that Reverse Latifa barely had enough time to dodge it.

Yet, dodge it she did by moving her head to the side.

However, a faint trail of blood appeared on her cheek.

It was but a scratch.

Still, Nessia’s surprise attack managed to draw the blood of a Rank 8 Celestial Walker.

“How unexpected…” Reverse Latifa said as the wound in her face healed in a heartbeat.

Though, just as she was about to snap her fingers to punish Nessia for her insolence, she once again heard an order directly inside her head.

“Don’t hurt her.”

The cold voice demanded no opposition.

In the end, Reverse Latifa was forced to glance at her counterpart before snapping her fingers.

Immediately, as if Latifa’s strings had been cut, her body shuddered before she lost consciousness in mid-air.

Seeing this scene, Nessia didn’t hesitate to fly after her friend and catch her before she fell to the ground.

Of course, Reverse Latifa had no plans on letting her counterpart get killed. Even if Nessia didn’t help, she had already cast a spell that would prevent Latifa from suffering any injury.

The moment Nessia caught her friend, the spell that Reverse Latifa had cast activated instantly.

With that, a bubble trapped the two of them in place, preventing them from escaping.

Now that the two were no longer a threat, Reverse Latifa focused her attention back on Reverse Alex’s battle.

Even though her beloved was being attacked by three people, he still had the leeway to pay attention to Nessia’s battle.

This proved that he had the upper hand, which was a very obvious fact.

A moment later, she shifted her attention to another battle that was happening in the distance.

Dim Dim and Reverse Dim Dim were clashing in the sky.

One was riding on a magical shield and holding a wooden sandal as a weapon, while the other was riding on a flying sword and holding the same sandal in its hand.

The two little buns clashed repeatedly, with Reverse Dim Dim making faces at his opponent, taunting its counterpart to do better.

Another sigh escaped Reverse Latifa’s lips.

Just as she had said earlier, regardless of the outcome of the other battles going around them, the only battle that mattered was the battle between Kings.

Though, in her heart, she knew that their victory was already set in stone.

The only concern she had was the two ladies, who seemed to be merely observing the battle for now.

They were none other than Efa and Himea, whom she didn’t recognize.

She had sensed them paying close attention to her battle with her counterpart and Nessia. But even then, they made no move to support their allies.

Clearly, they shared Reverse Latifa’s view.

The only battle that mattered was Alex’s battle.

And the two of them would only move once they determined that the perfect opportunity had come.
