Chapter 2243: Training
Chapter 2243: Training
-----
My family, my friends, and I made our way out of the castle, leaving behind the Vanagate Kingdom. We all got on top of Fuyu, as Charlotte began channeling her powers. The floating castle transformed into a colossal ship of divine ice, crackling with golden lightning.
"Let’s go! To Vanaheim!" she shouted.
The ship blasted off through the skies toward Vanaheim. With the problem resolved, we swiftly returned to my Divine Realm, although I left a doppelganger behind with Charlotte so the two of us could keep talking. We chatted for hours.
Once inside my Divine Realm, I decided it was time to start training again. This time, I was determined to push Amethyst and Triton further, and not just them—my kids too. All three... or rather, four of them now. Little Yudra was clearly eager to fight and hunt, and I wasn’t going to let that spark go to waste. I’d make sure she got all the battle and wild thrill she craved, while making sure to see how strong she was, and what powers she possessed.
But first of all, I had to show everyone a new member of our team, someone I also wanted to train to be honest, as I could feel some untapped potential within her, Celene the Moonlight Dragon. I showed her to everyone while we were having lunch, she was very timid though, but everyone was quite welcoming with her.
"Oh nice, another dragon!" Triton was quite joyous. "Hello big sis! I’m Triton! And you are?"
"Celene..." she said. "After meeting him, Lord Drake invited me to his Divine Realm. And I decided to join his journey... I know it might feel a little too fast, but he made me change my mind that day."
"I see..." Benladann nodded. "Well, you’re welcome to the team! Drake, are you going to train her?"
"That’s the plan," I nodded. "She’s really strong and seems to be among the most talented of her family, even though she’s among the youngest too."
"I guess young dragons are born with more potential," Amethyst said. "I’ve noticed it..."
"Yeah, it’s not a coincidence," I said. "It seems to be the case with every young dragon I meet, Emerald and Surtr too."
"You’re welcome to the party, come sit down and eat with us," Miranda said.
"You look to be quite reserved, but there’s no need around here, relax," Andromeda said.
"Yeah, take it easy," Yuki nodded.
"T-Thank you..." Celene said. "I was taking care of some children I adopted back in the city before Drake offered us shelter here, and things have improved considerably, the children are happy every day now."
"I’m glad to hear that," I nodded. "Just doing what I can to help out."
"You are too humble Drake..." Celene smiled gently. "I’ll do what I can to help out as well, as you said... I have not fought in years, however. I believe I may be quite rusty."
"That’s fine, we’ll help you out, there’s two weeks, so we better not waste them," I nodded.

Like that, Drake and his family enjoyed a good meal before training officially began. He decided to go all-out on the training, separating into several bodies at once to train several groups of people.
First of all, and where he put most of his focus were on his young children and disciples... he started to consider Celene a new discipline for now. So she joined their group despite being much older than them.
Second, another body of his went to train with all four of his wives, which needed special trainings and formations to empower their abilities and help the further cultivate. Even Andromeda was going to train and see what else she could learn from cultivating and sparring with the others.
Third, one of his bodies went to train with his friends, Ruby, Rakasha, Pekora, Tisha, Hector, Larzak, Kraxka and more. While his fourth body went to train Alma’s group.
And regarding Chris and Jake, both ended up joining Alma’s group at the end, while waiting for Surtr and Lucia to come back.
"Alright everyone, we’ve got at least two weeks in here, so let’s not waste them," he said, smiling as he faced his disciples and his children.
"Daddy, what should we train for?" Kate asked.
"I’m wondering the same..." Benladra nodded. "Magic? Weapons? My Healing Abilities?"
"I want to destroy things!" Drakda said.
"Well, you three have already been trained by me since you were born, haha, but I’ve got some ideas," Drake said. "First, each one of you will visit a respective Dragon Realm and hunt Soul Beasts of the strongest and highest ranks, and eat them."
"Sounds fun," Drakda smiled.
"Oh, that’s it?" Benladra asked.
"Hm, sounds fine," Kate nodded.
"Yeah, you’ll be able to train your soul and dragon bodies," Drake said. "And you’ll grow your soul stronger, which in return, will make your Archetypes stronger, as they’re manifestations of your Soul’s Power."
"I had no idea!" Benladra said, rubbing her chin. "So we go alone?"
"Ideally," Drake nodded. "I already arranged everything. Benladra, you’re going to the Light Dragon Realm, Kate you’re going to the Earth Dragon Realm, and Drakda, you’re going to the Dark Dragon Realm."
"Earth Dragon? Why?" Kate tilted her head adorably.
"Well, it’s quite simple, the constructs you create are all essentially steel, ores, metals, all of them come from Earth Dragons," Drake explained. "I had talked with Jotun before, and she said you were very similar to Earth Dragons, and you were allowed to enter too. Technomancy Dragons on their own are not recognized yet, even less Spirit Dragons, but it seems you can fit both Earth Dragons and Ice Dragons."
"Oooh, sounds interesting..." Kate nodded.
"Your constructs are fueled by your own magic and divine powers," Drake said. "So strengthening your soul and absorbing and eating a lot of Earth Attribute Soul Treasures and Soul Beasts will make the steel, wires, everything that makes your creations tougher and stronger."
